Chapter 10 - six peak

In the quiet morning, the Cang Clan was calm as usual. Disciples trained in the courtyards while elders discussed clan affairs.

Suddenly—

> Whoooosh!

A powerful aura descended from the sky.

A blinding light split through the clouds as two figures slowly appeared above the clan.

One was a white-haired elder in majestic robes—Grand Elder Man Luo of the Mojin Sect.

Beside him stood a young boy—Di Min, the child chosen before.

The air trembled under their presence.

Elders and disciples immediately looked up in awe and fear.

> "It's the Grand Elder of the Mojin Sect!" someone whispered.

Inside the main hall, Cang Ti, the Clan Leader, sensed the overwhelming pressure and rushed outside with several elders.

He cupped his fists respectfully.

> "Grand Elder Man Luo, greetings! To what do we owe this honor?"

Man Luo smiled faintly, his deep voice echoing through the clan grounds.

> "No need for formality, Cang Ti. I've simply come to take my new disciple—Cang Yan—to the Mojin Sect."

Cang Ti bowed again, his tone filled with respect.

> "Of course, Grand Elder. Cang Yan will be ready at once."

Man Luo nodded.

> "Good."

The entire Cang Clan buzzed with excitement and envy.

To become the disciple of a Grand Elder of the Mojin Sect was an honor that could elevate their clan's status for generations.

---

Inside his quiet room, Cang Yan suddenly felt the powerful aura descending over the clan.

His eyes snapped open.

> "This aura… Master has returned."

Without hesitation, he stood up and quickly walked toward the main hall.

At the same time, inside the Cang Clan's main hall, Clan Leader Cang Ti was respectfully chatting with Grand Elder Man Luo.

The two powerful figures spoke calmly, their presence making the air feel heavy.

Suddenly, a servant rushed in and bowed.

> "Clan Leader, Young Master Cang Yan has arrived."

The doors opened, and Cang Yan stepped inside. His calm red eyes met the elder's gaze.

> "Greetings, Clan Leader. Greetings, Master."

Man Luo nodded slightly, a faint smile on his face.

> "Good. You are ready."

He raised his hand, and with a wave, a silver flying sword appeared before them, glowing with ancient runes.

> "Come, Cang Yan.di min It's time to depart."

Cang Yan nodded and leapt onto the sword, sitting cross-legged behind his master.

The sword's edge shone with golden light, humming softly as spiritual energy gathered around it.

> Whooosh!

The sword rose into the sky, cutting through the clouds like lightning.

Below, the entire Cang Clan watched with awe as their young genius disappeared into the horizon—beginning his journey toward the Mojin Sect.

---

High in the sky, a streak of golden light crossed the clouds—the flying sword carrying Man Luo and Cang Yan sliced through the wind like a comet. The world beneath them looked small and distant.

As the wind whipped past, Man Luo turned slightly toward his disciple.

> "Cang Yan, remember this. The Mojin Sect is ranked among the top ten sects of the Min Country. Within the sect, there are eight Outer Elders, six Grand Elders, and one Sect Leader. The disciples are divided into three ranks — Outer Disciple, Inner Disciple, and Core Disciple."

He paused, a small smile forming on his face.

> "You, my disciple, will start directly as a Core Disciple."

Hearing this, Cang Yan's eyes widened slightly, though he quickly calmed his expression.

> "Master, then… which sects are stronger than the Mojin Sect?"

Man Luo's gaze turned distant, as if remembering old rivalries.

> "There are four that stand above us," he said slowly. "Nova Sect, Li Sect, Jade Sect, and the Heaven Sect. Each of these holds a Martial Lord-level cultivator within their ranks."

Cang Yan's red eyes flickered with interest.

> "So that's why they are stronger…"

Man Luo nodded.

> "Yes. But remember, strength is never permanent. Even the greatest sect can fall, and the weakest can rise — if the right genius appears."

The wind howled past them as the sword continued its flight, heading toward distant mountains where towering spiritual peaks pierced the clouds.

Cang Yan clenched his fists, his heart burning with quiet determination.Far ahead, layers of mountains stretched endlessly into the clouds.

Each peak shimmered with spiritual mist, and streams of golden light weaved through the air like ribbons.

Above this magnificent sight, a silver sword sliced through the sky, glowing with runic light.

Upon it stood Grand Elder Man Luo, and behind him were his two disciples—Cang Yan and Di Min.

As the sword descended, the vast majesty of the Mojin Sect came into view.

Ancient palaces floated in mid-air, connected by glowing bridges. Spiritual beasts roamed freely between peaks, and the qi density was several times stronger than in any mortal city.

> So this is the Mojin Sect…

Cang Yan's red eyes shone as he looked below, feeling the overwhelming spiritual energy that surrounded him.

The sword slowly landed on one of the towering mountain peaks.

> Whoooosh!

A soft breeze carried the scent of herbs and spirit flowers. On this peak stood elegant courtyards and stone paths that climbed upward toward cultivation halls.

Man Luo turned to his disciples, his calm eyes scanning the horizon.

> "Cang Yan, Di Min—this is your peak. Each Grand Elder has their own cultivation peak, and this one will belong to the both of you."

He gestured toward the sprawling landscape below.

> "There are many empty residences built for disciples. Choose the one that suits your preference. The higher you go, the stronger the qi."

Di Min's eyes lit up.

> "Thank you, Master!"

Cang Yan nodded respectfully.

> "Yes, Master."

Man Luo smiled faintly.

> "Good. After settling down, begin your cultivation immediately. The sect will test all new disciples in ten days. I expect you both to show results worthy of being my disciples."

He turned, his robe fluttering like flowing light, and with a wave of his hand, the flying sword dissolved into sparks.

> "I'll be in the main peak if you need guidance. Go."

With that, the Grand Elder soared away toward the Main Peak, his presence vanishing into the clouds.

Left behind, Cang Yan and Di Min stood silently on their new mountain.

Di Min grinned.

> "Brother Cang Yan, I'll choose the eastern courtyard. It's closer to the spirit spring!"

Cang Yan gave a small smile.

> "Go ahead. I prefer the highest place—I can focus better where the air is quiet."

He looked up. Above them, layers of white mist coiled around the mountaintop like a halo.

> From today onward… this is where my new journey begins.

Without another word, Cang Yan stepped forward, his figure disappearing into the clouds as he climbed toward the peak of his own cultivation path.
