The storm hadn't stopped.
Rain kept tapping against the window like soft knocks —
as if someone was asking to be let in.
Aiyumi sat curled up on her bed,
eyes red, sketchbook beside her,
pages wrinkled from tears.
Her phone lay silent.
No messages.
No calls.
Just that one word still echoing in her mind — "Remember."
She traced the pencil circle on the page again and again,
as though it might reveal some hidden meaning.
But every time she looked at it… she felt something strange.
A pull — like a memory trying to surface.
Somewhere between exhaustion and heartbreak, she whispered,
"Why does it feel like I'm forgetting something important…?"
The room lights flickered.
Once.
Twice.
Then steadied.
Her sketchbook fell open by itself —
to a drawing she didn't recall making.
It showed two silhouettes under an umbrella —
one holding a sketchbook, the other reaching out a hand.
And beneath it, written faintly:
"When you find me again, everything will make sense."
Aiyumi's heartbeat quickened.
"Who— who wrote that…?"
She turned the page —
and suddenly, her phone buzzed.
Another unknown message:
"You're close. Don't forget him again."
Her hands trembled.
She looked out the window —
but the rain had stopped.
And there, on the street below…
stood someone — half in shadow, half in light.
Watching her window quietly.
