Chapter 2 - Children of the Storm

The Day the Sky Shattered

Before my first breath…

before my first heartbeat…

before my soul was rewritten in blue lightning—

Zeraphyx was already dying.

The world groaned beneath the weight of its own legends.

Ancient Beast Clans devoured mountains to grow stronger.

Titans roamed the skies, their wings blotting out the suns.

The weak were crushed to dust, their names forgotten.

Power ruled everything — and mercy was a myth burned away long ago.

But far above the chaos, atop the floating citadel of Vhal-Draen…

a secret was being born.

A hall of glass, glowing with runes older than the stars.

A thousand silver chambers lined the walls, each filled with shimmering blue fluid.

Inside those chambers floated infants — not human, not beast — but something forged between.

A project the world would never be allowed to discover.

A fusion of forbidden bloodlines.

A prophecy wrapped in mortal flesh.

The scholars called them Prototypes.

The Clans called them abominations.

But the runes whispered a different name:

> "Children of the Storm."

Inside the largest chamber, hidden behind nine layers of divine seals…

a different child floated.

Me.

My tail glowed white and black, pulsing with streaks of lightning.

My heartbeat crackled through the liquid like distant thunder.

I was not meant to exist.

My blood was not of one Clan, but many.

My spirit carried the echo of something older — something the world had forgotten.

And when the stars aligned… the first sign appeared.

A thin crack split the heavens.

A roar tore across the sky, shaking mountains and oceans alike.

The Beast Clans looked upward in fear, their instincts trembling.

The world felt it —

the birth of a power that should never have been allowed to awaken.

Inside my chamber, lightning flickered beneath my skin.

The seals groaned.

The runes dimmed.

Something ancient stirred in my blood.

And then…

> DING.

"Ultimate Host-Bound System initializing…"

The moment that voice echoed through my soul, the world changed.

The sky shattered.

The balance broke.

And destiny opened its jaws to swallow me whole.

I was born not into peace…

but into prophecy.

Into a world that feared what I was destined to become.

A world that would soon learn—

> When a tiger made of lightning opens its eyes… even the gods tremble.
