(Third Person POV)
[Coast of The Blackwater, Next To King's Landing, 82 A.C.]
"Princess!" a Kingsguard Knight called out for a certain Targaryen Princess, "His Grace would not approve of this walk!"
Several meters in front of him, Saera Targaryen was walking barefoot, enjoying the sea breeze hitting her face. She had a smile on her face as the wind caused her ethereal white hair to flow to the side. She was wearing a light blue dress, her cleavage slightly exposed as the dress also flowed to the side.
They were on beach of the Blackwater, the sun was slowly setting as night approached. The Princess had decided to take a walk, nearly giving her Knight a panic attack as she had snuck away from his sights earlier.
"Ahaha~!" She laughed, "Do you not like this freedom, Ser? To walk on the beach and enjoy the breeze...it is so liberating~"
"Princess...." The Knight reached her as he had a serious frown on his face, "There have been reports of a conflict arising in the Gullet, we must return to the Keep."
"But why?" Saera looked at him, "We're still safe here. My brothers patrol the skies of the Blackwater, nothing will get past Vhagar and Caraxes."
"That is not the point," the Knight said, "His Grace told all of you to stay within the confines of the Keep, you must not abuse your authority as a Princess to disobey his orders."
She pouted, "My Father loves me dearly." She said, "Surely, he will be lenient."
"I wouldn't be so sure about that." the Knight said, "Please, we must return at once."
"Just a few more minutes." Saera smiled as she kept walking, "I mean.....wouldn't you like to be alone with a Princess like mys-"
"Do not speak such nonsense, Princess." The Knight said
"Boo...." She frowned, "I figured you would be tempted to break your vows just once."
The Knight then noticed something in the distance, which caused him to tense up and immediately walk towards Saera and get in front of her.
"Get behind me." He said, "I see something."
Saera peeked past him and noticed that on the sand, there was a figure lying down, "Oh?"
Without hesitation, the Princess ran past the Knight and made her way towards what was on the sand.
"Princess!!" the Knight took off behind her, "What are you doing?!"
Saera laughed while running, reaching what looked like the body of a man lying face down. His body was torn to shreds, blood pouring out of massive gashes on his back. His clothes were soaked wet, his pants were torn, and his shirt was ripped apart by something.
Saera froze, a bit taken aback by this, "Oh." She said softly, "A corpse...."
This was not something she saw often: a dead body. But she couldn't help but stare at the corpse, seeing that the person had grey hair, stained red with blood.
"Princess!" the Knight reached her, "Get back..."
He gently pulled her to the side and placed his hand on the handle of the sword, looking at the corpse before them. He then crouched down and rolled the body over, seeing that it was a young man who had cuts all over his body.
Saera's face went a bit pale, a bit unsettled by the sight, "Is....is he dead?"
"It appears so...." the Knight said, "You shouldn't see this. Please, Princess, look away."
"N-No...." Saera narrowed her eyes, fixating on the young man's face, which was covered in blood, "I.....I am not a little girl."
The Knight stood up, "I will have someone retrieve the body and give him a proper burial." He said seriously as he faced her, "You must not stain your memory with something like this. We need to return to the Keep at once, I am not asking anymore."
"Listen, I-" Saera started as she widened her eyes while looking past him, "His wounds...."
The Knight turned to see that the young man's wounds were emitting low flames, slowly closing as the color returned to the body.
"What in the...." the Knight said
Suddenly, the Young Man's eyes shot open as he screamed out in pain, "ARRRGHHH!!!!!" He said as his entire body was briefly engulfed in flames, "AHHH!!!"
As the flames disappeared, his entire body returned to normal; no wounds or blood were visible on him. He immediately stood up in a panic, looking around to see where he was.
Out of pure instinct, the Knight drew his sword and swung it at the young man's neck, cutting through.
"What are you doing?!" Saera said as she stumbled back
The young man's head dropped to the ground as his body stood still, not moving an inch.
"Monster....!" the Knight's face was completely pale as he looked at the young man's head, "H-He was dead....!!!"
The head suddenly burst into flames, and they siphoned back towards his neck, reforming itself as the body stumbled to the side, the water of the waves beginning to steam due to the heat.
"Ourgh...." the young man said as his head reverted to normal, "W-What the fuck...where am I?"
Saera watched with pure shock and horror, completely baffled at what had just transpired.
"His head....." Saera's voice was but a whisper, "W-What....that is.....?"
The Young Man collapsed to one knee, panting heavily, his face was slightly pale, "Where am I?" He said, "Who are you people?!"
The Knight pointed his sword at him, "Stay back!!" He said as he stood in front of Saera defensively, "Princess, stay behind me. You!! Don't move a muscle!!"
The young man looked at him, "Sword..." He said with a scowl, "D-Did you just cut me....?"
He patted his neck, a bit taken aback at the fact that his head was still attached to it.
"What are you?!" the Knight exclaimed, "You.....you are no man!"
The young man was panting, "I...." He said, trying to focus, "What.....?"
"You were dead....." the Knight said, "Y-You.....your body..."
The young man then grabbed a fistful of sand and threw it at the Knight's face, "Fuck you!" He shouted as he blinded him, "That's for cutting me, you prick!!!"
He then took off into a sprint, running in the opposite direction.
"Arghh!!" the Knight got to his knee, groaning in pain as the sand was in his eye, "Shit!!"
Saera was appalled by this, having immediately composed herself, "W-What just happened?" Her voice wasn't full of shock or fear; it was filled with curiosity: "Who was that?"
She watched as the young man's figure slowly disappeared into the shadows of the encroaching night.
"We need to get back to the Keep, Princess." the Knight said as he managed to recover, "Now."
"F-Fine...." Saera said, a smile forming on her face,
"Yes..."
