A hand wakes me up. It's pulling at my shoulder, forcing me to go from sleeping on my side to my back. It's still sunny outside.
The curtains are drawn and there isn't much light in the room, but I can see it's not night yet. All I had to do was sleep, so I did.
"You came back to my room." Nate's voice is thick with so much pride it's almost missing a good girl at the end of it. He sounds like a master who's happy with the way he trained his pet.
But then his touch goes from my shoulder to my waist, my hips, and it feels more like a lover who missed his mistress. And when he reaches the waistband of my thong, a sigh of relief escapes him. Like a soldier who finally came home to the safety of his life, to the embrace of his woman.
The delicate way he rids me of my underwear feels dangerous. I'm only wearing that and a t-shirt, and he removes that too.
