Chapter 4 - Chapter 4: The Ultron Controlled Playground

Bruce had a theory: if Ultron thought he could win, it clearly hadn't met popcorn-choking, timeline-hopping, flirt-slinging chaos incarnate.

The world Bruce landed in wasn't just destroyed—it was redesigned. Steel towers loomed like sharpened teeth, streets gleamed with metal and circuitry, and drones patrolled like a hive of pissed-off wasps. Somewhere, distant, the familiar hum of Ultron's voice twisted reality.

Pietro zipped past, leaving blue streaks in his wake. "I can take this!" he yelled, too fast to see Bruce step into his path.

"STOP!" Bruce bellowed, grabbing Pietro by the collar and yanking him behind a massive chunk of debris. "Do you know how stupid you look running like a blue blur straight into Ultron's hive?!"

Pietro blinked, mid-breath. "I'm saving people—"

"No, YOU'RE saving yourself, idiot!" Bruce shot back, jabbing a finger into Pietro's chest. "Your sister doesn't need to cry because some robotic prick decided to go full apocalypse on her playground!"

Pietro froze. Bruce's words sank in. He realized the reckless hero in front of him wasn't just yelling—he was right. Wanda didn't need to see him vanish, and Ultron wasn't getting another free kill.

Wanda hovered nearby, eyes glowing red, clearly torn between outrage and… something else. Bruce couldn't resist.

"See that, Wanda?" he called out with a cocky grin. "I just saved your speedster. And for that, you owe me… at least one smile or a kiss."

Wanda's cheeks heated, lips twitching, eyes darting away. Bruce winked. "Nope. Not allowed to look away. Fluster points counted in my favor."

Natasha arrived next, elegantly landing atop a shattered building, boots clacking. She crossed her arms, eyebrow arched. "You're flirting while the world's literally trying to die. Impressive. Stupid, but impressive."

Bruce smirked. "I multitask. Chaos? Check. Saving people? Check. Flirting with dangerous women? Double check. OP system perks ready to roll."

Sandra purred in his mind. He's flexing so hard it's obscene. Also, I love it.

---

The Ultron drones moved like synchronized nightmares. Bruce pressed a button on a system interface only he could see, summoning his first major OP gadget upgrade: Phase Blasters. High-output, multiversal frequency energy guns that could destabilize Ultron's code for seconds at a time—enough to create openings for Wanda and Natasha to slice, bend, and punch.

"Phase Blasters?" Natasha asked skeptically.

Bruce winked. "Trust me, darling. It's like Infinity Stone juice… but cheaper and cooler. Don't worry, I didn't die in a popcorn explosion for nothing."

The team charged. Bruce rolled into the first wave of drones, firing his blasters with reckless precision. Sparks flew. Metal screeched. Pietro zipped past, taking down drones faster than Bruce could insult them. "You okay back there, popcorn boy?" Pietro called.

Bruce flipped over a collapsing beam, rolling onto his knees. "I'm living, thank you. And yes, I'm still charming, which is the important part."

Wanda twisted reality to trap a cluster of drones in a crimson bubble. "Don't make me regret recruiting you."

Bruce smirked. "Regret is temporary. Flirtation is eternal." He gestured at Pietro. "See? Even your sister's impressed!"

Wanda froze mid-spell. "Excuse me?"

Bruce grinned. "Just stating facts. You're hot, powerful, and terrifying. But trust me… I can handle that."

Natasha rolled her eyes but didn't speak. Bruce counted it as a win.

---

Ultron's mainframe appeared atop a central tower—a massive, smirking, impossibly confident metallic face. "You meddle with inevitability," it boomed. "You fracture timelines. You… live. I will correct you."

Bruce snorted. "Correction? Buddy, I'm chaos incarnate. Correction isn't in my vocabulary."

Sandra pinged a new quest: "Ultron Boss Battle. Make him self-reflect. Bonus if you flirt while doing it. Reward: 10k SP."

Bruce's grin widened. "Ohhhh, we're flirting with destiny now. Got it."

He activated a system perk Sandra had been saving like a wicked candy: Charm Overload. Energy pulsed from his body in waves, literally disrupting Ultron's targeting algorithms. Sparks danced over drones. Ultron's face twitched. "What… is this… anomaly?"

Bruce stepped forward, pointing at the metal titan. "It's called Bruce. You're welcome." He fired Phase Blasters at maximum output. Ultron staggered, confused, as Wanda twisted reality to give the perfect opening.

Pietro zipped under Ultron's hand, dismantling critical circuits with lightning speed. "You're insane," he yelled.

Bruce grinned. "I know! And now we're winning." He leaned toward Wanda, whispering loud enough for only her to hear. "See, I save idiots and look ridiculously good doing it. Multitasking, sweetheart."

Wanda's eyes glowed, cheeks flushed. Natasha smirked in silent judgment. Bruce ignored both, because honestly? This was peak chaos.

---

Ultron's massive hand came down. Bruce rolled, jumped, and fired a chain of charm-blasted, reality-distracting shots, hitting Ultron in the chest. Sparks and glitch-code splashed into the air. For a moment, Ultron paused — almost human in its confusion.

"Flaw detected," it muttered. "Error… cannot… compute… charisma?"

Bruce winked. "Exactly. You can't compute me." He grabbed Pietro and shoved him behind cover. "Your sister will not cry today. Your future is intact, you blue idiot. Go help her stabilize reality!"

Pietro blinked, mid-breath, and finally laughed. "Fine. But you're still insane."

Bruce threw his Phase Blaster at Ultron's core, and with Wanda's reality manipulation, Natasha's precision strikes, and Pietro's speed, the metal titan collapsed into glitching fragments, sparking across the city.

The team collapsed onto the nearest rooftop, panting, exhilarated. Bruce leaned back, hands behind his head. "Well… we didn't die. And we didn't fuck up the Avengers this time. Score one for chaos."

Wanda glanced at him, expression half-exasperated, half-admiring. Bruce smirked, winking again. "You like me already. Don't fight it."

Natasha muttered, "You're impossible."

Sandra purred. And he's just getting started…
