Chapter 3 - Chapter 3 – Choose Your Path

Blade walked through the endless snow, Reality Sync humming faintly in his hands. Then a chime sounded in his mind:

> [System Notification: Class Selection Available]

[Choose your class. Only one class can be selected.]

A floating menu appeared, each class pulsing with its own aura:

1. Blade Knight – Masters of melee combat. Heavy armor, sword mastery, elemental enhancement.

2. Arcane Archer – Long-range precision fighters. Channel magic into arrows.

3. Shadow Assassin – Stealth experts. High mobility and critical strikes.

4. Pyromancer – Fire manipulators. Summon and control flames, incinerate enemies, manipulate battlefield terrain. High damage, moderate defense.

5. Gunslinger – Masters of modern firearms. Dual pistols, rifles, and advanced weaponry. High mobility, high burst damage, moderate defense.

6. Technomancer – Masters of technology. Deploy drones, turrets, and traps. Versatile but moderate combat power.

Blade hovered over Gunslinger for a moment. Modern firearms? That would've been powerful—but… he already loved crafting. If he chose Pyromancer, he could forge a gun of his own, combine it with Reality Sync, and shoot whenever he wanted. A standard Gunslinger could never do that.

> [Tip: Hover over class for detailed abilities.]

He hovered Pyromancer. Stats flashed:

Attack: 85

Defense: 60

Speed: 70

Magic: 95

Unique Trait: Reality Sync Amplifier – Fire constructs mimic real-world physics.

He smirked. Fire and Reality Sync were perfect. Guns? That could wait until he mastered his class.

Blade pressed Confirm – Pyromancer.

A surge of heat rippled through him. Vision blurred, then cleared. The first quest appeared:

> "Pyromancer Initiation: Defeat the Training Golems in Frostvale Arena."

Blade's fists itched—not just to wield fire, but to craft. Jackets, boots, headgear… and someday, a gun of his own, fully synchronized with his Reality Sync abilities.

For now, Frostvale awaited. The Training Golems wouldn't know what hit them.

He stood at the arena and looked at the notification hovering on his face and a smile appear after a year of living with his sorrow.
