Chapter 104 - Chapter 104: The Creator of the Transformers

Chapter 104: The Creator of the Transformers

"Grimlock, you're tempting fate! If you retreat with your troops now, you might live to see another day. Otherwise, my counterattack will be unbearable for you Autobots!"

It seemed the Fallen still hesitated to strike at Grimlock, the mighty Autobot warrior who had sealed him away years ago. After all, it had been a thousand years since he last opened his eyes.

"You should've been destroyed long ago. Stop dreaming. Our Autobot mission is to ensure peace across the universe and uphold the glory of Cybertron. Therefore, aside from me, no other Autobot will tolerate your behavior. If you're willing to return obediently to Cybertron with me to face judgment, perhaps I'll consider sparing your life temporarily!"

Although Grimlock wasn't entirely sure he could defeat his opponent, his words carried great pride something that only fueled the Fallen's fury.

"Are you trying to provoke me, little Autobot? Do you wish to extinguish my spark? That reminds me your kind, the common Transformers, carry sparks barely strong enough to empower you. You ants have no idea what my spark is capable of… as the progenitor of the Decepticons."

As if inspired by something, what happened next was unbelievable. The Fallen began to tremble before Grimlock and Starscream.

But it wasn't real trembling Transformers had no such emotional weakness. Rather, the massive being was shedding metallic growths from his body as he shook.

"What is this? Aren't those the Predacons we encountered before?"

Starscream, with his advanced scanning and targeting systems, quickly noticed something was off. At first, he thought the Fallen was discarding excess metal to increase his agility. But when he examined the metallic debris scattered on the ground, he noticed something strange.

Those supposed "discarded fragments" were actually mechanized life forms. Some resembled giant wolves native to this planet, others looked like gorillas or rhinoceroses and a few even took the shape of massive dinosaur-like creatures. They were probably carbon-based species the Fallen had collected on this world, now converted into machine hybrids.

"Captain, something's wrong. What's he planning?"

Dart, who also had aerial observation capabilities, dove repeatedly to study the creatures on the ground. However, these prehistoric mechanized beasts appeared immobile, like toys without batteries.

"Hahaha, don't rush, don't rush, my curious little ants! Now I'll play with you using the toys I've gathered through the ages! And I'll show you the true power of a strong man's flame!"

Perhaps indulging in self-admiration or plotting something far greater a blue, eerie fire suddenly ignited in the Fallen's right hand. Had he… recovered his own flame?

He's insane!

"Quickly, stop him! He's… he's trying to create something!"

Just as Starscream and the Dinobots began to panic, an elder Autobot warrior, wielding a bronze sword, shouted a serious warning. But before he could reach the front lines, the Fallen kicked him aside with ease.

"You obsolete machines know a thing or two, but right now, you should remain silent and witness what's about to happen. Not many Transformers have the privilege to behold this moment of creation you should feel honored. After all, most of you were born in the very same way!"

The spark of a Transformer is like the soul within their body. However, unlike carbon-based life forms, these mechanical beings, as long as they have energy and a functioning body, can in theory never truly die. In a sense, their bodies are eternal.

Yet over time, no one truly knew how the first generation of Transformers came to be. What the Fallen was about to do might reveal the origin of their species.

But for Starscream and Grimlock, this revelation spelled disaster for once these mechanical creatures came to life, they would become formidable enemies.

It was already too late to stop him. After casting aside the interfering Autobot, the blue flame in the Fallen's hand erupted. His body remained intact, but the fire fragmented into countless tiny blue sparks, scattering like petals over the metallic beasts lying below.

"Zzz zzzz!"

"Crack crack crack!"

The effect was instantaneous. Every creature touched by the blue fire began to pulse with a faint blue energy. Their bodies and limbs started twisting and contorting, producing harsh metallic grinding sounds.

Suddenly, a mechanical ostrich-like creature lifted its head and stumbled clumsily to the left. It looked almost comical but as it stood upright, other beasts began to move in the same way.

They were alive!

These mechanical beasts, previously lifeless, now stirred with movement. Even the crippled ones, missing limbs or armor, managed to rise awkwardly once they absorbed the Fallen's blue spark. Their eyes glowed a crimson red.

"Damn monster! This isn't creation! You didn't give them full sparks they're mere puppets without souls!"

The fallen elder Autobot immediately realized the truth. The Fallen's so-called "creation" was nothing more than a deception. At best, he had only activated these mechanized creatures, turning them into empty shells without real sparks mere soulless robots.

"Hahaha, a spark? Do you think I'd waste my precious spark on such garbage? But who knows… if these little ones wish to have sparks of their own they'll have to earn them!"

As he said this, the Golden Light of the Fallen turned his gaze toward his opponents with malicious intent.

Could it be…?
