It's been a few hours since Buggy and Shanks were picked up by the Roger Pirates.
As the crew celebrated, Buggy was enjoying some juice.
Just then, Rayleigh called out for Buggy to come over.
'Something wrong?' Asked Buggy.
'Shanks tells us you been training ever since you got better, is this true?' Asked Roger.
'Yes, I aim to become strong to survive' says Buggy.
'Ha, I like your honesty Buggy, good to know you changed your ways' said Roger.
'I have been training to become a strong pirate, I'll show you. Shanks, how about a little duel?' Asked Buggy.
'A duel?' Asked Shanks seemed confused.
'Yeah, not only do I want to show off, but I want to see if you can still keep up in a fight' said Buggy.
'Your on' said Shanks grabbing a training sword.
Just like that the crew was getting excited for the duel.
Buggy draws out two training swords.
'Try not to lose, and I'll do the same' said Buggy.
'Funny, I was about to say that' said Shanks smiling.
As the two get ready, Rayleigh was the one to start them off.
'Ready, set…, fight!' Said Rayleigh.
Just then, Shanks using his speed, got up close to Buggy's face before swinging.
seeing this, Buggy dodged the swing, making Shanks miss.
Seeing that, Shanks swung where Buggy was standing.
Out of nowhere, Buggy saw the swing going to his face. Thinking fast Buggy used his chop chop fruit powers to remove his head from his body.
Without realizing it, Shanks smirked at that.
Without warning, Shanks jabbed fast to Buggy's chest.
Feeling the jab, Buggy's body was sent flying to a few barrels.
Buggy's head fell to the deck in pain from the blow.
'Winner!, Shanks' said Rayleigh.
As the crew celebrated Shanks's victory. Buggy was returning to his body.
'Still think I can keep up?' Asked Shanks rising his hand to help Buggy up.
'Yep' said Buggy returning the gesture.
'You are indeed strong Shanks, if you get stronger then this, I'm sure you'll be king of the pirates next Time' said Buggy.
'Ya really think?' Asked Shanks smiling happily.
'Of course, who'd ever want to face the might, of Shanks the great' said Buggy.
'I was honestly thinking of "red hair" shanks' said Shanks.
'In that case, "red hair" Shanks it is' said Buggy.
Just like that, the crew celebrated some more.
