Chapter 3 - A new age and the king of immortal’s resurrection

The year is 3025 2,227 years after that fateful night wen king raven fell. The world outside ravens final resting place has changed drastically now there are flying cars holograms cell phones computers gameing consoles and much more. In the day of Friday Samantha also known as Sam is working as a archeologist and historian collecting artifacts and history and information in hopes of finding her one and only love king raven's resting place and on today the 2,228th day she received information from her secretary daisy about a ancient ruin found under the ground in the mountains across the world. Samantha sits at her desk resurching old legend and myths wen her secretary knocked on her office door. Samantha looks up from her computer at the frosted glass door. "Come in daisy." Daisy is a elderly woman in her 70s that Samantha trusts with her deepest secret that she's a elder vampire. Daisy walks in with a look of hey boss i finally found him. "Ya know Samantha I've kept your secret for over 60 years now and it still amazes me that you're not even alive so to speak but that's besides the point."Daisy slides over a file with news articles and pictures. Samatha opens the file and the first thing she's met with is a death report of one Eddie no last name suspected vampire. Samantha smiles darkly and Daisy asks what's up. "Oh sorry Daisy just a traitor finally getting his due." Daisy raised a eyebrow in question. Samantha is he the one who killed your love?" Samantha sighs sadly. "Yes unfortunately he coveted what he could not attain and he was a creep always making lewd comments about me and asking wen I was going to switch up." Daisy huffs in annoyance. "Some men these days can't take a hint it's good he's gone then turns out a group of young hopefuls with the vampire hunters guild caught up to Eddie and did him in." Samantha smiles. "Was that all you had for me Daisy?" Daisy shakes her head and chuckles. "Not quite Samantha that was only the appetizer before the main dish." Daisy slides over a white colored folder containing geographic data and maps and a picture of what looks to be an ancient stone wall protruding out of the earth. Samantha looks at it and it dawns on her. "You found him didn't you Daisy?" Daisy smirks triumphantly. "Yes I did i found the resting place of your love." Samantha's eyes well up with tears happy, happier than she's ever felt in centuries. "How daisy how did you find him?" Daisy puffs out her chest a thing that became habit wen she was in her twenties. "Well i follow the stories you used to tell back wen we were In college and I made a map and then cross referenced the history and myths and then extrapolated the location of your old home incorporating the shifting of the earth during the centuries. Samantha jumps up and hugs Daisy tenderly accounting for daisys age and her own superhuman strength. Samantha laughs excitedly. "I'm booking a flight immediately will you come with me i want you to meet him i want you to meet my love." Daisy nods affirmatively. "I'm already packed and ready to fly." That afternoon both Samantha and Daisy hop their flight and travel 19 hours to Samantha's and raven's old home. 19 hours later Samantha and Daisy land at the airport and rent a car and travel to the location where Raven waits for his love. 12 hours later they arrive at the location and start setting up for a dig, Samantha grabs a shovel and starts digging, Daisy grabs a shovel and joins in. "Oh Daisy you don't have." Daisy interrupts Samantha mid sentence. " I'm old not dead yet." Samantha chuckles knowing better than to argue with the woman who's been her best friend for over 60 years. "Fair enough it please remember to take rests and drink water." Daisy shoots Samantha a warning look "ok mom!" Samantha chuckles at daisys comment and continues digging. Eight hours later Samantha joins Daisy for a break. Daisy reaches into her back pack and pulls out a bottle of blood and hands it to Samantha. "Oh thank you Daisy your a life saver!" Samantha unscrews the top and takes a long swig and wipes her mouth with the back of her hand. "Whew ice cold thanks Daisy." Daisy smiles. "Will you tell me about him Samantha?" Samantha gets a dreamy look on her case as she thinks about Raven. "He was so kind and strong he never let that creed Eddie talk to me the way he usually did with out going unpunished he had kind eyes and a beautiful body, he wasn't just my king he was my love my everything." Daisy looks up into the sky and sighs dreamily. "Yeah I know the type my late husband was like that too, so that blood is that how you stayed alive for over two thousand years and still look like your in your twenties?" Samantha laughs. "Yes drinking blood keeps us vampires immortal but it also gives us the nutrients we need to survive." Diasy nods thoughtfully then gets up and grabs her shovel. "Well come on your love isn't going to dig himself out."Samantha smiles and jumps in to help. The next day and many hours later. Noon hits and they finnaly unearth the stone coffin holding Raven captive. Samantha looks at it with determination and hope and reaches out and breaks the blood magic seal and opens it to see ravens witherd form laying there. "Oh my love you'll be awake soon." She grabs her pocket knife and cuts her palm and lets the blood poor into ravens dry mouth. "Daisy go get the cooler of the bottles of blood." Daisy's comes back minutes later dragging a cooler of bottles of cold blood behind her. Sarah grabs a bottle and opens it and then they see Raven stir and wake up his eyes flutter open with that same red glow as Samantha's raven sits up groggily and reaches for the bottle and drinks it all down. Samantha watches with love and concern. "Easy my love drink slowly." Raven stops mid drink recognizing the voice of his one true love. Samantha is that you?! It is!!!!. Raven throws his arms around her and kisses her passionately. And Samantha melts into the kiss and holds him tightly. I'm so happy to see you Samantha you haven't changed at all still so beautiful. Samantha blushes deeply. Daisy clears her throat. Right my apologies mortal who are you? Daisy looks at Raven and smirks. "I'm Daisy Samanthas best friend."Samantha smiles and nods. It's nice to meet you Daisy I'm Raven lord of elders. Daisy shakes ravens hand firmly. Samantha how long have i been asleep? Samantha's expression turns sorrowful. "Two thousand twenty eight years my love the world has changed since you have been sleeping." WOW what all has changed? "Well Eddie got killed by some vampire hunters. There's flying cars,holograms,video-game-consoles computers,televisions,movies you'll learn all about them soon enough my love first restore your strength because there is a new threat new vampires that run amuck unchecked oh and there's a new race born of vampire seed and the womb of human women.They are called elfs half immortal half mortal. Ravens eyebrows shoot up in suprise. Eddie is dead that traitor died before i could get vengeance myself. Oh well that's ok and elfs born from the seed of vampires and the womb of human women have vampires truly forgotten the laws? Samantha sighs "No my love they just don't follow the old ways they claim the justicars won't do shit and can't do shit and that there are no more elders to boss them around wen one has been hideing right from under their nose." Ravens expression darkens. This breach of law will not go unpunished it's time to show these new vampires that they cannot do what they want anymore that your justicars will do their jobs. It's time to show them their king is back!
