POV: Narrator
Kasaka reacted instantly, lunging toward Akira with all its massive speed and weight, ready to crush him in a single blow.
BOOM!
The ground shook as the enormous beast moved, but Akira reacted quickly, leaping into the air and narrowly dodging the deadly strike.
He knew that if he wanted to win, he had to go all out — he had to pierce through Kasaka's armored hide no matter what.
"Here I go! Beast Style: Second Fang — Tear and Rend!"
Akira didn't know why he shouted that name.
It simply came to him — an instinct born in the moment he decided to unleash the Beast Style.
As he descended toward Kasaka's enormous body, both of his katanas glowed faintly.
When he got close enough, he swung both blades in a cross-slash motion, forming a massive X.
SLASH!
Akira's katanas sliced deep into Kasaka's scales, actually cutting through its natural armor and leaving a large wound.
But—
"It's too damn tough… its skin is harder than steel."
Kasaka roared in fury and counterattacked. Its enormous jaws snapped open, trying to devour Akira whole.
But Akira had already jumped back, dodging the strike by mere inches.
He sprinted at full speed, dodging Kasaka's relentless attacks.
Normal snakes could strike at their prey in the blink of an eye… and this thing was faster — and stronger — than any ordinary serpent.
SWOOSH!
Kasaka lashed forward with impossible speed, jaws snapping like a whip, but Akira reacted just in time.
"Whoa, easy there!" he muttered, ducking low as Kasaka's massive body swept over his head.
Now was his chance!
Using the opening, Akira leapt onto the serpent's back and began sprinting up its scaled body toward its head.
"The eyes and the mouth… those are the only places I can pierce through easily."
His katanas were already on the verge of breaking.
He couldn't afford to waste even a single strike.
Kasaka, showing terrifying agility, twisted its enormous body violently, trying to throw him off.
But Akira jumped again at the perfect moment, sliding along the serpent's scales, using them as leverage to propel himself forward.
Kasaka whipped its head around instantly, opening its jaws wide — ready to swallow him whole.
But Akira already had a plan.
"Beast Style: Fifth Fang — Frenzy of Slashes!"
The moment Kasaka's jaws closed around him, Akira spun in midair, unleashing a whirlwind of cuts in every direction.
SLASH! SLASH! SLASH!
His strikes tore through the inside of the beast's mouth at the exact moment he entered it.
Kasaka screamed in agony, its body thrashing violently as blood splattered across the floor and walls.
Desperate, it smashed its head against the ground and nearby structures, roaring in pain.
But Akira didn't let go.
Clinging tightly, he held his position atop the serpent's skull, enduring its violent convulsions.
He clenched one katana between his teeth while gripping the other in his hand, steadying himself.
"Pretty eyes you've got there…" he said with a smirk.
His arms tensed, both blades aimed at the glowing amber eye.
"Beast Style: First Fang — Pierce and Extract!"
With a ferocious roar, Akira drove both swords straight into Kasaka's eye, impaling deep into its skull.
But he didn't stop there.
He forced his arms deeper into the wound, tearing through bone and tissue to make sure his attack reached the creature's brain.
Kasaka let out one final, deafening roar. Its massive body convulsed one last time… and then collapsed with a thunderous crash.
The impact sent up a cloud of dust — and marked the end of the battle.
Akira dropped to the ground as well, his body trembling from exhaustion.
"That… hurt," he muttered, standing up while watching blood gush from Kasaka's destroyed eye.
Then, with a wide grin of triumph, he raised his finger toward the fallen beast.
"HAHAHAHA! I win, you stupid snake!"
At that exact moment, several notifications appeared before his eyes:
