Viona's POV
People said that when too many anomalies happened around us, it meant the world was nearing its end, about to collapse into nothing.
I swallowed the lump in my throat as I watched Rafael smile so widely, full of unfiltered joy again. Well, it was understandable. Who could resist how cute my kids were?
I wanted to call out to him, but seeing Rafael playfully tap Roey's nose sent a warm feeling spreading through my chest.
Was he really their biological father? Shouldn't I run a DNA test? I tried to convince myself that my triplets were Rafael's children, but the uncertainty still lingered, clawing at me. I needed validation to calm myself down. Should I do a DNA test in secret?
My arm brushed against the door, the hinge creaking softly. Rafael turned, and our gazes locked.
His dimple vanished instantly, replaced by a tired smile. I tilted my head, gesturing for him to come out.
He stepped out of the boys' room and closed the door quietly behind him.
