Chapter 1 - "Solar Flare and the Planet Killer."

-----

-----

If you somehow bought yourself a one-way ticket to another world—and, oops, turned into a girl on top of that—

What would you do?

Have a crazy idea, maybe?

Like… ahem, never mind.

But right now, this particular white-haired loli who got isekai'd just wants to scream:

"Screw transmigration! Screw this transformation crap!"

She wants to go home.

Sure, traveling to another world could be fun. Even turning into a girl—fine, whatever.

But Dragon Ball? Come on, what kind of office worker could survive this kind of world?

First, her home planet gets blown up like some fireworks display. Then she's being hunted like a criminal.

Absolutely ridiculous.

"Princess Rose, there's no escape for you—keh keh keh keh!"

That eerie laugh behind her sounded like it had swallowed a dozen evil sect elders in one gulp.

Oh great, here we go again.

That's a textbook villain laugh right there. And we all know what that means—never a good guy.

The white-haired girl twitched her lips.

Right now, she was basically a fluffy white bunny being chased by a big, purple wolf.

Weak, pitiful, helpless.

"I'm not some princess, and my name's not Rose! You've got the wrong person!" she shouted back.

"Hahaha! Wrong person? You think Captain Ginyu would make that kind of mistake?"

A loud laugh echoed behind her.The purple-skinned humanoid with two black horns on his head grinned wickedly, raised a hand, and tossed a glowing violet energy sphere her way.

"White-haired Saiyan, last survivor from Planet Vegeta. Lord Frieza said you're a special case. I could never mistake you."

Rose ducked fast. The blast whooshed past her ear, the air vibrating with deadly energy.

Hearing that smug tone, her face twitched. If not for years of post-grad work experience and "customer service" training keeping her calm, she'd have started cussing.

White hair, huh? What, you got a problem with that? It's not like I stole your rice!

You think I wanted this hair color?I was born this way, idiot!

And what, just because I have white hair, I'm suddenly a Super Saiyan?

Please. You think Super Saiyans come that cheap?

Frieza, what did your ancestors even teach you?

"Beware of golden-haired warriors."

Golden-haired! Got that? Not white-haired!

I'm just a weak little white-haired girl, not some muscle-bound Amazon with a six-pack!

If you really think I look like a Super Saiyan—fine, I'll dye it pink!

"BOOM!"

The explosion was deafening. A huge blast rocked the mountains miles away.

The purple energy sphere slammed into the ridge and obliterated it, leaving behind nothing but dust and a towering mushroom cloud that spread across the sky.

"Oh, crap!"

Rose crossed her arms in front of her, forming a shimmering barrier of ki to shield herself from the shockwave.

Even so, the impact slowed her flight drastically.

"Heh heh, looks like you're not running anywhere this time."

Ginyu took the chance to surge forward, swooping down in front of her and blocking her path.

His two-meter-tall frame cast a long shadow over her.

Rose glared up at him, her expression tense. "What do you want from me? I told you—I don't know you, and I'm not a Saiyan!"

Ginyu reached into his armor and pulled out a photo, waving it mockingly in front of her."Still gonna play dumb? Battle power near sixty thousand, huh? If Lord Frieza hadn't given me strict orders, I'd have recruited you into the Ginyu Force already."

Sixty thousand. The number flashing on his scouter made him frown in disbelief.

He'd never seen Rose in person before. The so-called "Saiyan Princess" had always kept a low profile, showing no more than two or three thousand power at most.

But as the only white-haired Saiyan in existence, she was like a bright spark on a black sheet—impossible to miss. No wonder Frieza had ordered them to bring her in.

The photo in his hand was a perfect match for her current appearance.

Rose frowned hard. A photo? Taken before she escaped? But she'd destroyed the tracker before leaving the planet!

"Why can you still find me?" she asked, finally admitting who she was.

"Heh, curious, are we? Fine, I'll tell you. There were two trackers on your ship. One obvious, one hidden. The hidden one was Lord Frieza's 'gift.'"

He grinned wider. "By removing the first one, you told us exactly who to send. If it'd been anyone else, you'd probably have killed them. But me?"

Ginyu chuckled, "Lord Frieza truly is wise. The man is the emperor of the universe."

Rose bared her teeth. "You talk too much. Don't think you've won yet!"

"Oh? Sixty thousand, huh? Impressive for a monkey, I'll give you that."Ginyu adjusted his scouter and smirked. "But do you know my power level?"

He spread his stance, clenched his fists, and gave a thumbs-up toward himself like some narcissistic action hero.

"I'm Captain Ginyu, leader of the Ginyu Force! Lord Frieza's number one warrior! My power level—one hundred and ten thousand!"

He grinned. "How's that? Feel the despair yet?"

Rose didn't react, but Ginyu just laughed, rubbing his chin. "Tell you what, I'll make this fair. I'll stand still and let you attack for one whole minute. How's that sound?"

She blinked. "You serious?"

Who just stands there waiting to get punched?

What, does he want to die?

"I keep my word," he said, folding his arms. "If I move, I'm a dog."

He even reinforced his aura, adding another layer of protection.

Sixty thousand? She couldn't even scratch him like this.

"Don't regret it later, Captain Ginyu!"

Her ki flared.

"Hmm. Still only that much. Better than those so-called elite monkeys though," he muttered, patting his chest in satisfaction as the scouter beeped. "Come then, Princess of the Saiyans. Show me what you've got."

Rose slowly raised her hands to her forehead.

Ginyu tilted his head. "What's that move supposed to be?"

He didn't care. Against his strength, no trick would work.

"You're too arrogant, Ginyu!"

Her voice rang out—

"Solar Flare!"

Light burst forth like a newborn sun, flooding the sky.

"ARGHHH! My eyes! My eyes!!"

Ginyu screamed, clutching his face as searing pain shot through his head. The light stabbed into his retinas like a thousand needles.

"Damn it! Damn you filthy monkeys!"

He started firing blasts wildly into the air, aiming blindly where he thought she was.

Rose was already gone.

Then—an overwhelming sense of danger hit him.

He twisted aside instinctively.

"SHHHK!"

The sound of flesh being sliced.

"Ah! My leg! My damn leg!"

Agonizing pain ripped through his body, his right leg severed clean off. Sweat dripped from his wrinkled purple forehead as he roared in fury, energy spiraling out of control.

A massive ki storm erupted, tearing apart everything nearby.

Miles away, Rose crouched behind a boulder, gasping for breath.

Solar Flare to blind him, then Ki Blade to strike. It worked—mostly.

She didn't get his head, but the leg would do.

Still, it proved one thing: the power gap was massive. Ten thousand points could mean the difference between life and death in this era.

She steadied her breathing, running the numbers in her head.

"I've got the upper hand now… as long as I avoid his Body Swap."

"I can win this."

Because she still had one last trump card—

Transformation.

A Saiyan's true weapon. Multiply your base power by ten.

Even with a fake moon, she could still hit three or four hundred thousand—more than enough to finish Ginyu off.

She'd been holding back because it was risky: too big, too obvious, too easy to target.

But now? He was half-blind, half-crippled, and couldn't sense ki.

Piece of cake.

"I'm not like those other dumb Saiyans who fight just to die," she muttered with a smirk. "I play it safe."

Raising her right hand, she started forming the artificial moonlight.

Then—

"Huh?"

Her brow furrowed. Out of the corner of her eye, something streaked through the sky.

A massive energy beam was plummeting from orbit, cutting through clouds like a blade, heading straight for the planet.

Too far, too fast.

No way to stop it.

Rose froze, watching it descend.

Then she sighed, crushed the half-formed moon in her hand, and muttered,

"Damn you, Ginyu… you fight so dirty."

The beam hit.

The world exploded in white fire.

Shockwaves rolled across the land, devouring everything. The ground collapsed in waves as the planet began to tear itself apart.

There was no time to run.

The blast swallowed Rose whole.

Her body, her ki, her consciousness—everything was gone.

And just before the darkness took her completely, she heard a faint sound—

Ding.

"Energy source detected. Chat group loading…"
