Another two years passed, and Luo Ya successfully found a wife for Rudeus: Sylphy.
Bringing a somewhat shy Sylphy home, and after Rudeus began his 'nurturing plan,' Luo Ya thought to himself, 'You already have one, so don't be a playboy.'
So, aside from his usual magic and sword training, he spent his time calculating.
Calculating what? Of course, he was waiting for Roxy.
Rudeus had a wife, so it wouldn't be too much for him, as the elder brother, to have one too, right?
When Rudeus was four, Luo Ya began making requests to Paul and Zenith with appropriate reasons.
"Father, Mother, I think Rudeus and I need a magic teacher," Luo Ya said.
Soon after, a young girl with azure hair descended from a carriage.
"I am Roxy, pleased to meet you." A petite, cute girl appeared before them, dressed in a brown mage's robe, with aqua blue hair tied in a braid, and a figure roughly that of a middle schooler. She could be described as small and proper.
She was squinting, looking a bit tired, as she spoke to Paul.
Loli, annoyed half-squint, indifferent attitude. This was the impression she gave everyone.
The moment he saw Roxy, Luo Ya almost instinctively pulled Rudeus aside.
Luo Ya said with a serious face, "Rudeus, have I been good to you or not?"
Rudeus felt bewildered but still nodded. Honestly, although his elder brother's expression was a bit cold, he was actually a very good person.
Luo Ya leaned close to Rudeus's ear and said, "I've got my eyes on this girl."
Rudeus's eyes widened abruptly. He glanced at the somewhat cute Roxy, then at the exceedingly handsome little shota before him. The thought of them getting intimate made his cheeks flush, and in an instant, he imagined dozens of explicit scenarios.
As if afraid Rudeus hadn't heard clearly, Luo Ya repeated, "I've got my eyes on this girl."
Rudeus nodded, a knowing expression on his face. He leaned close to Luo Ya's ear and asked, "What do you want to do?"
"What do I want to do?" Luo Ya looked at Rudeus with a hint of surprise. He said, "What else can I do?"
Rudeus chuckled, a lewd smile playing on his lips. Luo Ya couldn't help but take two steps back. Rudeus whispered, "Of course, that! She's such a cute girl, don't tell me you have no thoughts at all."
Luo Ya fell into thought, then nodded. Rudeus patted his handsome elder brother's shoulder, glanced at Sylphy inside the house, and then loudly announced, "Sylphy, you can also come out and listen!"
Paul was displeased with the two whispering nearby and loudly chided, "Luo Ya, Rudeus, hurry up and greet your master!"
Roxy curiously observed the two of them. She slightly adjusted her hat brim and said to Paul, "I heard you have two boys who want to learn magic. Where is the other child?"
With a bewildered expression, Roxy watched as Paul pointed to the taller shota beside him and said, "This is my eldest son, his name is Luo Ya."
Then he pointed to the blond little rascal next to him and said, "This is my second son, his name is Rudeus."
Luo Ya was already used to it. He bowed and said, "Are you my master? Nice to meet you, my name is Roa Greyrat. You can call me Luo Ya."
Roxy was stunned by the adorable little shota, who looked like a porcelain doll. She pointed at the little shota again and asked, "You, a boy?"
Luo Ya's eyebrow twitched. He knew his current appearance often led to misunderstandings, but what could he do about how he looked?
Luo Ya nodded. Roxy gave an awkward laugh, her gaze shifting back and forth between Luo Ya and Rudeus.
"So, these two are the ones who want to learn magic?" Roxy asked.
Rudeus weakly raised his hand and said, "If possible, I'd like Sylphy to also receive your guidance."
"Huh? Me? It's already great to be with Rudy and Luo Ya, but to learn magic too? Wouldn't that be a bit much?" Sylphy asked hesitantly, a little flustered.
Rudeus simply gave her a brilliant smile and waved his hand, an expression that said, 'Leave it to me.'
Paul covered his forehead with his hand. He said irritably, "I say, you two, don't just decide things on your own. We originally agreed it would only be the two of you."
Roxy's smile stiffened slightly. She looked at the somewhat timid Sylphy beside her, then sighed and said, "You can stay and observe. However, aren't all three of you too young? One six-year-old, and two four-year-olds."
The smiles that had just appeared on Rudeus and Sylphy's faces immediately froze.
Paul, however, proudly puffed out his chest. "Our boys are all geniuses," he declared.
With a helpless sigh, Roxy had no choice. She rubbed her temples and said in a softer voice, "Then, let's begin today's first lesson."
So, the four of them found an empty spot in the courtyard and sat down.
Roxy pulled out a thick magic book from her satchel. After a moment's thought, she set the book down and said to the three children sitting cross-legged before her, "Well, starting from this magic textbook… no, before that, let's first confirm how much magic you can use."
Rudeus was about to speak but was interrupted by Luo Ya's calm voice. Luo Ya said, "We've only learned some related knowledge from books."
Roxy's delicate face showed an 'I knew it' expression. She sighed softly, glanced around, and said to everyone, "I'll demonstrate first. See if you can try to learn it. May the great blessing of water descend upon your request, and may a cool, shallow stream appear here—Water Ball."
A fist-sized water ball began to gather in her hand. The water ball swirled, then flew into the distance.
Splash.
The sound of the water ball hitting the ground rang out, landing next to the railing and wetting it.
"Did you see?" Roxy's expression was a bit listless; it was clear she didn't have high expectations for the three.
"So amazing." Rudeus's slightly exaggerated voice came, as he winked at Luo Ya.
Sylphy was a little confused. Didn't the two of them already know this?
Magic is truly wondrous.
There's no doubt about it; it can conjure various elements of wind, fire, water, and earth from thin air.
But magic is also extremely difficult to learn because it has strict requirements for mana.
Today, Roxy encountered three top-tier prodigies.
