Harry decided to take a walk around Hogwarts by himself. He walked through the corridors, quietly humming Lady Gaga's "Poker Face," even though that song was still a long way off at that point. Passing by some of his classmates, he noticed that they looked at him with hostility. His smile immediately faded. Were they still angry at him for his ability to talk to snakes? Potter didn't want to think about it, but encountering their disapproving glances didn't make him happy either.
Suddenly, Ginny Weasley ran towards him down the corridor, but when she saw Harry, she stopped and swallowed nervously.
"Ginny?" the boy asked. "What's wrong?"
But the girl didn't answer, just ran on ahead, screaming hysterically.
Deciding that the problem was that she had seen Ginny in the distance, he decided to go there. Harry ran into the corridor, where huge letters were written on the wall:
"The Chamber of Secrets has been reopened. Enemies of the Heir, beware!" the boy read aloud.

"Harry" turned his head to the left, where he saw a cat hanging from a ledge. The animal wasn't breathing and showed no signs of life.At that moment, students gathered around, surrounding Harry and Barry due to their sheer numbers.
"Let me through!" Filch shouted from afar. "What's going on here?"
The man pushed his way through the crowd and stepped forward. Noticing the cat, he recoiled in fear.
"Mrs Norris?" Filch whispered, then turned his angry gaze towards Harry and hissed, "You! You killed my cat."
"I didn't do anything!" the boy backed away.
"I'll kill you!" the caretaker shouted.
"Argus!" Filch's vendetta was interrupted by the sudden appearance of Dumbledore and the other teachers.
A small scuffle ensued. Filch tried to accuse Potter of casting a spell on his beloved cat. Albus Dumbledore remained calm and tried to calm the caretaker down.
In the end, everyone was sent to their rooms, and Harry wondered if the inscription could have been the reason Ginny was so frightened.
