Chapter 75 - CHAPTER 75 — Prelude To The Final Pyre

The arena floor still bore the scars of battle, cracked stone, scorched earth, and streaks of crimson where warriors had fallen.

Yet amidst the chaos, a sense of destiny hung heavy in the air.

The Blood Princess Akagi herself, seated upon her obsidian throne high above, watched with a gaze both regal and merciless.

Her crown shimmered under the torchlight, a reminder of the prize that awaited the victor.

Sai's heart thundered like a war drum.

Every muscle in their body ached from the semi-final clash, but the fire in their spirit burned brighter than ever.

Riku whispered to themselves, "No hesitation. No mercy. The crown will be mine."

Rajin, cloaked in Blood, moved silently through the dark corridors beneath the arena were Kane and Sai fought.

His mind was a storm of strategies, each more ruthless than the last.

He had no need for cheers or glory, only the quiet satisfaction of triumph.

To him, the tournament was not about honour, but survival.

Above, the crowd continued its revelry.

Merchants shouted, selling charms and trinkets said to bring luck in battle.

Children waved miniature banners, their voices rising in chants of the warriors' names.

The anticipation was hard and palpable, like a living force that seemed to shake the very foundations of the arena they were fighting on.

And somewhere in the distance, a loud horn sounded, a low, ominous note that promised the final clash would be unlike any before.

The famous Bloodmoon Queen Tournament was not merely a contest of strength; it was a crucible of fate where whoever wins gets to be the king of the kingdom.

Paulo, Riku, and Rajin were proudly walking through the streets of the Blood Moon Kingdom. Paulo, who was the leader of both Riku and Rajin, also held the title of leader of the Cosmic Empire and Monarch of Radiation.

"Great job, we are one step closer to expanding the Cosmic empire," Paulo whispered; however, his overall sadness remained, lingering from all the struggles and pain he had endured in the past.

Riku then remarked that Paulo appeared more unhappy than usual, and they could not have been more accurate.

Paulo was deeply troubled after secretly combining and fusing with the Monarch of Death, Momo Yokoyama.

However, he did not reveal to anyone that he had merged with Momo, that he could not separate from her, or that she was still alive.

"We now must strategize our confrontation with Kane Eguchi and Sai Fukuda, as I have doubts about Rajin's ability to contend with Sai," Riku stated thoughtfully.

Rajin then gently pushed Riku and stated, "This is why I will have Yuki take on the fight instead, as she has greater experience in combat so now I will simply function as if I am still not fully healed. "

Paulo nodded with Riku in some sort of agreement, stating, "That is a good idea; however, prior to the final match of the tournament, it seems that the king of this kingdom wishes to organize an event that might be something noteworthy, as I overheard Izuki Remioka discussing a royal battle among the twelve now eleven monarchs. "

Paulo then considered and produced a beneficial idea that the other six monarchs would arrive to participate in this royal battle, and since Momo is fused with him, it represents one less issue to manage.

Paulo, Rajin, and Riku chose to return to the cosmic base to get ready for the championship match of the famous Bloodmoon Queen Tournament.

Paulo Satoshi's eyes appear alert as he exits the kingdom with his 2nd and 4th in command by his sides.
