While Minato and Uchiha Hai's group headed to the training grounds, the crystal ball in the Hokage's office was displaying the scene.
As luck would have it, Hiruzen Sarutobi was observing a certain bathhouse when he happened upon the confrontation between Minato and the Uchiha clan, so he immediately started watching.
He immediately arranged for a Jonin from the Anbu to follow them, in case Minato was harmed. But also, no matter which side faced a life-threatening situation, they had to be stopped immediately.
"Minato, let me see your true strength. Show off your talent to your heart's content," Hiruzen Sarutobi said, taking out his small pipe and settling in to watch the show.

Minato led them to a training ground. This was not his usual training ground; he didn't want to be bothered by people while training.
"Go, Minato! Beat that pink-eye patient to death!" Kushina stood on the side, loudly cheering for her beloved.
The Ino-Shika-Cho trio at the side twitched their lips. Pink-eye? Kushina was really daring. Wasn't she afraid of the entire Uchiha clan hating her?
"You tomato! How dare you insult my Uchiha clan! The Uchiha clan will not let you go!" Uchiha Mahui immediately stepped forward to threaten Kushina.
"Tch, you were the one who called me a tomato first. The Uchiha clan are all pink-eye patients, pink-eye, pink-eye! Oh, wait, you don't even have pink-eye yet. You're so pathetic," Kushina retorted without showing any weakness. As for the name "pink-eye," it was something Minato had come up with when they were chatting.
But the name was really too fitting. A bunch of pink-eye patients.
"Damn it, you tomato, don't be so arrogant!" Uchiha Mahui was trembling with anger, pointing at Kushina's face, his words becoming incoherent.
"So what if I'm arrogant? Hit me! If you have the guts! You coward, you chicken, you weakling!"
Facing Uchiha Mahui, Kushina wasn't scared at all, so she kept making various gestures of contempt and disdain.
"Enough, my foolish little brother! Look at this woman, the hatred, the resentment, and then train desperately! When you have the same strength as me, you can teach this woman a lesson!" Uchiha Qinghui tightly grabbed his brother. His cousin was here; he couldn't steal the spotlight.
"Yes, brother," Uchiha Mahui said, looking at Uchiha Qinghui with an emotional expression. The two of them held hands tightly and gazed at each other.
The dialogue and overly affectionate actions of the Uchiha Mahui brothers were enough to blind Minato's titanium alloy dog eyes. What the hell, was Uchiha Itachi possessing them?
Even the Shikaku trio stared dumbfounded at the pair of brothers. It was truly an eyesore, wasn't it?
"Both of you, shut up! You've completely disgraced the Uchiha clan!" Uchiha Hai's veins bulged. If they weren't his cousins, he would have definitely slapped these two bastards who were disgracing the Uchiha clan to death.
"Yes!" The two of them shivered and immediately stood up straight.
"Let's begin. I won't be accused of bullying you. You can make the first move," Uchiha Hai said condescendingly, his tone clearly showing that he didn't take Minato seriously at all.
"Hmph, shameless! As expected of a pink-eye patient. You know Minato's talent is good, so you can't beat him among your peers and have to find someone older. Why don't you call your dad out? Why don't you pull your grandfather, who has one foot in the grave, out? You're bullying Minato, have you no shame?"
Kushina sneered at Uchiha Hai's hypocritical actions, immediately dissing him and all his elders. Her little mouth rattled on, sharp as a tack.
Her appearance as a protective wife demon was truly an eye-opener for Shikaku and the others. They all gave Minato a thumbs-up.
Seeing this, Minato gave Kushina a doting look. A good performance.
"You damn bastard! You'll pay the price for your arrogance! No one can save you!" As the target of the verbal assault, Uchiha Hai couldn't take it anymore. He would definitely kill this woman later. She was just an outsider from another village. Killing her was nothing. He believed the Hokage wouldn't dare to do anything to him.
If he knew that Kushina was in Konoha as the vessel for sealing the Nine-Tails, and he wanted to kill her, the whole of Konoha would probably explode. It was estimated that the head of the Uchiha clan would personally come out and slap him to death, then deliver his body to their door to apologize.
Sealing the Nine-Tails was such a major event. If it was really sabotaged by the Uchiha clan, the clan's future would be even more difficult.
"Sorry, you won't have that chance. Today, you'll be lying here like a dead dog." Minato's face darkened as he blocked Uchiha Hai's view of Kushina. He had sensed the killing intent in Uchiha Hai's eyes; he wanted to kill Kushina.
Daring to have murderous intent towards my woman, then don't blame me for completely crippling you.
That's right. For Kushina's safety, he decided to cripple Uchiha Hai, to prevent him from thinking about his wife in the future.
As for the consequences? Minato didn't think that far. And with his status as Jiraiya's disciple, he didn't think anything would happen to him.
