The battle on the surface of planet Cadia had been raging for over a year before the Yaeger knight house arrived to provide support.
Today, it was truly preparing to enter its climax. The forces of chaos were ready for war, fully committed to invading the entirety of Cadia.
The Dominion Fleet of the Terran Dominion had also begun to move, poised to join the fight against chaos.
Ground forces were prepared for an all-out battle on the surface, aiming to weaken the power of the four Chaos Gods.
An apocalyptic war, beyond the imagination of the Imperium of Man, was about to fully erupt, and the Titan Legions were making their final preparations.
Due to the massive increase in chaos power, the Imperial Army/Forces on the surface of planet Cadia had already begun to continuously lose ground.
One position after another was breached by the mighty chaos forces, and Imperial Army/Forces soldiers died on the battlefield, one after another.
Their bodies were desecrated, and large numbers of chaos daemons swarmed out, gradually compressing the entire battlefield.
Warp energy poured out, transforming the real universe into the Warp, and increasing the combat power of the Warp daemon.
The epicenter from which the entire battlefield was being compressed could be seen as Zeke.
As the master of mankind, Zeke's very existence was the best help for humanity to resist the chaos invasion.
With him present, even if the four gods acted together, attempting to erode with Warp energy, they would be resisted by the energy he unconsciously emitted.
However, this resistance would not extend over too large an area; while Zeke could effectively deal with the problem of chaos Warp energy transformation, his greater strength was needed to engage in battle with the four gods of the Warp.
Ooh—
The ancient horn was blown, and the chaos daemon launched an all-out offensive once again!
Hundreds of billions of chaos daemons surged like a tide, trampling the bodies of Imperial soldiers, staining everything in their path crimson.
The sky was torn apart by a Warp storm, and blood-red lightning continuously struck, illuminating the entire battlefield like hell.
This was a nightmare, a nightmarish scene. Even though the Cadians had been in a state of war with the Warp since childhood on this planet, they had never witnessed such a terrifying chaos invasion.
Chaos daemons surged out like a tide; their numbers were even greater than those of ants.
Not only chaos daemons, but even orks were continuously joining the battlefield, with large numbers of fungal creatures charging towards the Imperial Army/Forces.
The Imperial Army/Forces realized in dismay that their firepower was simply unable to stop such a powerful army. Soldiers were decapitated by the Greater daemon of Khorne, who shouted,
Blood for the blood god! Skulls for the skull throne!
The Yaeger knight house, in conjunction with the Titan Legions and their three most powerful Star-Language class titans, continued to resist.
A single movement from the massive titan war machines could crush tens of millions of daemons directly.
But such numbers meant nothing to the daemon; the real world had already begun to become indistinguishable from the Warp.
As soon as a daemon was killed, a new, more powerful daemon would burst forth from a Warp rift.
As for the blackstone pylons of the necrons here, they had actually been exerting their effect all along, but they were clearly no match for the combined forces of the four Chaos Gods.
Moreover, the blackstone pylons had sustained some damage in previous operations.
The power of chaos was continuously eroding this planet.
If not for the partial Warp energy protection provided by Zeke to this planet, and the additional stabilizing effects produced by the three dark matter energy cores of the three titan war machines, a larger-scale chaos invasion would likely have already occurred.
With the aid of the three titan war machines and the continued combat of other Space Marines, the front line was barely stabilized, and the war in space reignited.
The Imperial Army fleet was almost completely annihilated; under the combined might of the powerful chaos fleet and the ork fleet, the Imperial Army/Forces fleet had almost no room for resistance.
Originally, only the chaos fleet and the orks remained in space.
Of course, this ignored the effect produced by the Dominion Fleet at the edge of the star system. If the Dominion Fleet had not been ignored, that would have been a different story.
However, now the Dominion Fleet under Zeke had sprung into action. Four battleships, forming the core spearhead, opened fire on the chaos battleship from the very edge of the star system.
Four Lance beams concentrated fire on one chaos battleship, instantly blowing it apart.
The sudden turn of events stunned both the chaos fleet and the ork fleet for a while. While they were bewildered, the Dominion Fleet was not.
The Lance beams from the cruisers also opened fire; their targets were cruisers of the same class.
Using two cruisers to attack one cruiser as the primary method, the chaos fleet's cruisers were directly decimated by one-fifth in this round of attack.
The naval battle in the universe reignited.
Unlike the land, the battle in space was one-sided.
The chaos Fleet's detection methods were severely limited; the Dominion Fleet consistently remained outside their reconnaissance range.
They could only detect Lance beams periodically flying out from certain locations to strike them, but they were unable to pinpoint the enemy's position.
More importantly, because the Dominion Fleet had always operated in a superluminal flight combat posture, they could not determine how many warships were attacking them.
The Dominion Fleet moved like a ghost along the edge of the battlefield, each appearance accompanied by devastatingly precise strikes.
The chaos Fleet commander stood on the bridge, angrily smashing the tactical holographic display in front of him—this was the seventh command terminal to be destroyed.
"Damn it! Where are those cowards hiding?!" he roared, his crimson ocular implants sweeping across a chaotic battle projection.
Twenty hours ago, another chaos battleship was pierced by four Lance beams without warning, and was now slowly disintegrating into a brilliant fireball.

The piercing alarm made the commander even more irritable. He turned to the Tech-Priest: "Have you not locked onto the enemy's position yet?"
The dark Adeptus Mechanicus Tech-Priest's mechanical tentacles waved frantically, data streams cascading across its visual sensors: "No... impossible... their energy signature does not conform to any known Imperial warship pattern... and..."
"And what?" The commander gripped the dark Tech-Priest's metallic neck.
"Based on current speculation, their speed is extremely fast, reaching its limit. They are maintaining superluminal travel, several times the speed of light!"
"But it's impossible! The Imperium simply doesn't have the technology for such fast superluminal travel. How can they fight at superluminal speeds?!"
The mechanical Tech-Priest of the dark Adeptus Mechanicus also couldn't believe what he was seeing.
Compared to believing that Imperial warships could strike them at several times the speed of light, he would rather believe this was a plot by Tzeentch.
But the facts were before him, whether he believed them or not.
In short, the enemy their fleet encountered was indeed maintaining a speed beyond light.
Their equipment simply could not detect the exact multiple of the speed of light.
