The very thing Zeke had been worried about finally happened: a large-scale sacrifice took place on the surface of Cadia.
A Warp storm was approaching.
Besides the reinforcements from the Yaeger knightly Family, the Empire only managed to send two space marine companies and some Astra Militarum legions.
The only remaining forces were the Imperial armies already fighting on Cadia, while the forces of chaos launched an even larger offensive during this massive sacrifice.
Zeke remained calm; he didn't directly enter the Warp to engage the Four Chaos Gods.
However, his parents could no longer bear it.
By the second month of the war, when the knights of the knightly Family faced life-or-death crises, how could the Supreme king and Queen stand idly by and watch their own knights suffer?
Originally intended as secret weapons to ambush Abaddon's flagship with disrupter cannons when it appeared, the two Supreme kings of the knightly Family deployed their secret weapons.
Two colossal Titan machines appeared on the surface of Cadia.
Their 1000-meter-tall bodies towered into the clouds, like majestic small mountains. Even the Titan Legions deployed by the Imperial army and the chaos Titans deployed by chaos seemed like ants before these two gigantic Titans.
The Mechanicus's oil-stained tech-priests were so excited when they saw these two divine Titan machines appear that oil started spewing out of them.
The melodious horn of the knightly Family echoed across the entire planet.
Led by the two Star-Speaking Titans, the powerful knightly Family army, along with the Imperial forces on the planet, launched a counter-charge against chaos.
As these two gigantic Titans began to move, the Archmagos of the Mechanicus gushed oil while shouting about the Omnissiah's miracle.
Divine machines walked upon the earth.
Their height and power far surpassed any active Imperial Titan.
Their strength was unparalleled; these god-tier Titans walking on the ground made it clear to anyone that they were divine machines!
Even the Departmento Munitorum seized this opportunity to promote these two colossal Titans as the Emperor's spokesmen on earth.
In fact, what they said wasn't far off, as they were indeed the Emperor's spokesmen.
It was just that this Emperor was not that Emperor.
Unfortunately, sometimes situations don't change dramatically just because two giant Titans appear.
chaos was already prepared; larger spatial rifts were opened, and more chaos armies poured out.
Countless Greater daemon of chaos and daemon Engines appeared on the battlefield, continuously attacking the forces of the Imperium.
The Star-Speaking Titans were indeed powerful; their combat strength could even be described as terrifying, capable of crushing large numbers of Khorne Greater daemon with a mere flick of their hands.
Such powerful Titan war-bodies made dealing with the chaos armies as simple as crushing a small bug.
However, the endless numbers of these bugs still wore down even these powerful Titans.
Relying on the powerful anti-gravity system of Stellar technology, these two divine Titan machines could fight freely on the ground.
But each of their attacks had to be precise.
Otherwise, if these two divine Titan machines went all out and unleashed their full power on the planet, it would likely cause massive, undeniable fissures on the planet itself.
To put it more plainly, these two divine Titan machines were equivalent to two small neutron stars, except these neutron stars lacked gravity, preventing them from directly crushing Cadia.
The daemon armies indeed had no units that could directly counter the Star-Speaking war-bodies, but their endless numbers were enough to launch an even larger, full-scale offensive against the Imperium.
Although the Titans were powerful, the formidable weapons they carried could not be used indiscriminately.
Otherwise, the planet itself would not be able to withstand the operations of such giant Titans.
The war was developing in a direction unacceptable to the Imperium.
The Imperium lacked sufficient frontline troops to maintain the battle lines and then attack with Titans; they simply didn't have enough forces.
Due to the Warp storm, the Imperium's reinforcements could not reach Cadia in time, leading to the Imperium being severely outnumbered by the chaos daemon.
This was true even after Abaddon's Black Legion began to quietly withdraw upon discovering the full mobilization of the chaos armies.
The Four Chaos Gods, however, deployed most of their servants in this war.
By the second month of the battle, even the ork armies had arrived on this battlefield, with large numbers of orks jumping onto the planet.
The Imperial Navy was almost no match, even with the fleets brought by the knightly Family.
They could only desperately defend themselves by relying on the two Emperor-class battleships of the knightly Family.
The Imperium's navy fell into a defensive disadvantage, allowing the ork fleet to deploy large numbers of orks onto the planet for combat, and the pressure on the Imperium continued to mount.
Did humanity have a way to turn the tide of this war?
Yes!
As long as Zeke now ordered the Terran Dominion's army to intervene in this war, then the war could still be sustained.
The reinforcements Zeke had been waiting for had arrived; he now had three legions.
At this point, the number of space marine troops under Zeke, usable as regular forces, had already reached 3 million.
If Zeke was willing, then this war could continue.
But it was clear that, so far, Zeke had not issued this order.
He was still piloting his giant Star-Speaking war-body, manipulating it on the battlefield to deliver various strikes.
Although each strike eliminated a large number of chaos forces and orks, it was merely a drop in the bucket against the enemy's endless numbers.
The Four Chaos Gods had made up their minds; they were sending out their servants with all their might.
Even Lissa, the knight-Commander who knew Zeke's situation, asked him a question after the war entered its second month:
"My Lord, when will our army enter the war?
The Imperial army will probably not be a match for chaos."
In response to her question, Zeke at the time gave only one answer:
"Wait!"
Zeke's answer was just those two words; he said nothing more.
How could ordinary humans know what he was waiting for?
In reality, during the entire duration of the war, Zeke's attention had long since shifted from the planet Cadia to the Warp.
He had not manifested a powerful Warp entity to prepare for war with the Four Chaos Gods, but was instead standing with the Emperor.
The two human Warp deities watched from afar as the Four Chaos Gods allied with Gork and Mork and some other powerful Warp entities.
This was a peculiar situation unique to the Warp: if any Warp deity became too powerful, the other Warp gods would unite.
They would band together to suppress them.
It was clear that the human deities were currently too powerful.
In a one-on-one fight, no deity in the Warp was a match for the two human gods; the Emperor could arbitrarily pummel any of the Four Chaos Gods, and Zeke could do the same.
Even though Khorne had gained immense support and strength from the current massive war, when his eyes met Zeke's, a voice still told him that if he dared to approach, that guy could truly cleave him in half again.
Humanity's power was unprecedentedly strong, so they had to unite to suppress the power of the human deities, at least bringing them back to an equal footing.
Either Zeke also had to sit on something like the Golden Throne, unable to stand up and fight freely.
Or he had to be prevented from allowing the Emperor to stand up freely again.
Two human deities were simply too many; it had to be limited to just one.
The Four Chaos Gods had indeed thought about killing Zeke.
But every time such a thought arose, the will of the great cosmos from the ethereal constantly warned them.
Therefore, up to this point, the Four Chaos Gods and other Warp entities had only one main idea:
Either the Emperor must not stand up again, or Zeke also had to find a throne to sit on.
In short, they shouldn't be like they were now, occasionally stabbing one of them.
Watching these Chaos Gods in the Warp conspiring with each other, Zeke and the Emperor both seemed somewhat anxious.
But they couldn't directly make the first move and attack them.
Two against six... the numerical disadvantage was a bit too great, and Zeke's available energy was limited, making a prolonged battle impossible.
The greatest catastrophe targeting the human race was about to arrive...
