Rin woke and saw that his whole body was wrapped in clothes. The place was dark, and Rin couldn't see anything. Suddenly, a chilling sound came out of the darkness, "So you're finally awake." A man came out of the darkness with a warm smile. Rin, clenching his wound, asked, "Who are you? What is this place?".
The man replied," My name is Sen Martinez. This place is part underground, part of Dread Mountain."
Rin asked, "How are you still alive? Powerful creatures dwell here."
Sen assured Rin, "Don't worry, this place is safer than you think, and even if a monster emerged, I have my people who will protect this place."
Rin said, "People? There are other people here."
Sen replied, "When we entered the hole, we were 120 people, but only a few survived."
Something clicked in Rin's mind, and he asked, "Are you the people the government sent to research the dread mountains?"
Sen nodded and replied, "So you know about us."
Sen continued, "In five grade 1 only one survived, and that is me. Twenty grade 2 are alive, and forty-six grade 3 are alive."
Rin hesitated and asked, "Hey, do you have kids?"Sen looked puzzled. "I have no children; I'm a total bachelor! Ha ha ha!". Rin's face fell a bit. "Why are you sad? I'm the one who should be sad; I'm a bachelor in my forties! "Rin replied, "I'm not sad that you're a bachelor; it's just that my... friend's father is one of the grade 1 of this operation. "Suddenly, Sen grabbed Rin's shoulder, his eyes wide with nervousness. "What's your friend's name? "Rin replied, "Yuri. "In an instant, tears started streaming down Sen's face. "Yuri Martinez is my daughter! "Rin was taken aback. "Hey! But you said you're a bachelor! Sen wiped his tears and said, "Well, you suddenly asking about my personal life is just too suspicious!" Rin chuckled, "I guess we've found the plot twist of the day!".
He asked, "So you're a friend of Yuri."
Rin "kind of."
Sen asked, "So where is she now?"
Rin casually replied, "Here in the dread mountains."
Sen shouted, "What! What is she doing here?"
Rin explained everything from the start.
Sen asked, "So you're telling me, you and Yuri are fighting in the plane, but the plane crashed into the cursed mountains and you're searching for your friends and me."
Sen spoke, "This is a worrisome situation than I expected, and the worst part is she is working for IDEL."
Rin was taken aback by his reply and asked, "You work for IDEL, right?"
Sen sighed and said, "I will explain to you later."
Sen introduced everyone to Rin, and Sen said, "This is our camp where we live." Rin asked, "Where do you get your food?" Sen replied, "We hunt monsters of low grade."
Rin asked, "How do we go side again?"
Sen replied, "There is only one way to go up, but that entrance is guarded by a Grade X Draganier."
A Draganier is a life half dragon and dinosaur combined, which has no wings. They are strong like dragons, but they lack intelligence.
