Synopsis
A writer talks, and someone listens. That’s all this was supposed to be. Sometimes it’s stories, sometimes it’s thoughts, sometimes it’s nothing at all. A quiet experiment in creation, connection, and the strange space between them. So what happens when that's not all there is to it?

Chapter 1 - Greetings and Salutations!

"I don't know how you're supposed to start these kinds of things. I guess I'll just ask then… that works right?"

"Hey, is there anyone there? If you see this, mind helping me? I don't really know how I'm supposed to start this.. 'Writing' thing."

The sound of clicking was the only thing that could be heard in the darkness that seemed to never end. That was, excluding the small boxy light that could be seen brightly shining on the figure of a writer hunched strangely in their seat and staring at their screen and keyboard a bit too closely.

In the end, they didn't forget to end the very first "chapter" of their novel with their own little signature. After thinking for a while they came up with a name to use. "Thanks for reading, please respond soon with your thoughts! - Null " is what the very last line said.

It wasn't professional or even at the level of a novice, in fact it was probably worse than something written by a child learning to write for the first time, and yet the writer seemed to be very content with the two sentences they produced. They smiled softly and gave a short nod of satisfaction before deciding to post onto the website.

'From now on, I'll become a webnovel creator. I'll write stories whenever I think of them. I think today was a good start. I hope someone answers soon. Otherwise it'll take forever before I figure out how to write one properly.'

Those were the only thoughts that made their way into the writer's mind as they stretched and moved away from the screen only to end up sitting right back down in front of it. Sitting and staring directly at the screen, once again way too closely.. As if something would change. They genuinely planned to sit there and wait while staring at the screen, either someone would respond and they'd get their answer, or they'd get an idea as to what they want to write and publish a chapter today. That was their plan in its entirety.

'How long.. Does it usually take for people to read?'

They truly were a novice in every way.

"[ Author's note]

So, what exactly are your thoughts? How do readers prefer novels to appear? Do you like when each novel starts with a cool Chapter and title like this [Chapter] - Title, or do you readers prefer it to be different? How? Hey.. you're going to answer right?"

Null stared at the screen with more pride than before after having edited and even added a small note to the readers at the end. Then, just like before, they simply sat down in their chair and waited. Wondering how long it'd take and how many stories they would eventually make.
