Xuan Wei chuckled against his ear. "Still trying to fight me?" he murmured as his fingers circled Wei Jin's entrance again. "You know that you cannot win against me," he kissed the corner of Wei Jin's ear. "Ever."
"Damn you… Xuan Wei…"
"Say it properly," Xuan Wei breathed, tightening his hold around Wei Jin's waist, his voice dropping into that dangerous register that always broke Wei Jin's composure. "Tell me who Ling Yue is to my brother… and I'll let you breathe again."
Wei Jin snapped, and his golden flame pheromones surged again. He twisted his body against Xuan Wei and shoved back hard.
For a split second, he thought he had shaken Xuan Wei off, but Xuan Wei was always faster when it came to him.
With one sharp movement, Xuan Wei caught both of Wei Jin's wrists and slammed them back onto the table. The impact stole Wei Jin's breath, and before he could recover, Xuan Wei kicked his foot between Wei Jin's, forcing his legs apart just enough to lock in place.
