Chapter 17 The Change of Theocracy
"Oh my children, you have done it, you have accomplished a great feat and ended those painful times."
When everything came to an end, Gaia, covered in scars, walked out from the earth. She had not appeared before because she was using the peak of the earth to fight against the sky that was constantly pressing down and trying to destroy everything.
If it weren't for her obstruction, the twelve Titans would not have been able to fight against Uranus and win.
Her appearance instantly ignited the atmosphere. Although the twelve Titans were more or less injured, they were still happy from the bottom of their hearts at this moment.
They no longer had to suffer oppression and torture from the God-King, nor did they have to worry about being imprisoned in the abyss of Tartarus at any time. They were finally free.
They began to celebrate their victory in the battle and congratulate the new king, Kronos, on his coronation.
"You are right, our great and beloved mother, this is something worth celebrating."
Kronos was still thinking about Uranus's unspoken final curse, but at this moment, facing everyone's congratulations, he could only temporarily suppress this matter in his heart and force a smile.
They returned to the sacred mountain and began a banquet that lasted for dozens of days to celebrate this new era.
Just as the gods were celebrating unscrupulously because they had finally escaped the long-lasting torture, the new king of gods, Kronos, the god of time and space, quietly found Gaia, the mother goddess of the earth.
"Great and respected Mother Goddess, during the final battle, I believe you also saw that Uranus, the God of the Sky, cursed me viciously, but because of His Highness Taren's interruption, he did not speak aloud."
Kronos looked worried, his eyes filled with concern. "Even so, I still feel the power of the curse upon me. Why is that? Hasn't the curse been broken?"
Gaia looked at the youngest child in front of her who made her proud, listened to his worries, and couldn't help but sigh softly.
"Kronos, my dear child, when Uranus tried his best to curse you, the curse was already established. Even His Highness Taren could not stop it."
"Didn't you notice that His Highness Taren said at the time, 'Fate cannot be expressed in words'? This precisely shows that this curse has become fate, and only things that are bound to come true are fate."
After listening to Gaia's explanation, Kronos's heart, which had been hanging in the air, finally died completely. However, he still asked unwillingly: "My beloved Mother Goddess, is there any way to undo this curse?"
Although he didn't know the specific content of the curse, Kronos could clearly feel Uranus' hatred for him at the time, so this must be a very vicious curse.
Gaia looked at him with pity, her tone tinged with sympathy: "My poor child, the curse cast by the Sky God in anger with all his might will surely come true no matter how it is affected."
"Because the contract is a rule established at the beginning of the world, the reason why the gods can gather together and obey the orders of the God King is precisely because of the constraints of the contract."
"And the curse is a form of contractual power, so the curse cast by a high-level god is impossible to resist."
After listening to Gaia's explanation, the last bit of hope in Kronos' heart completely disappeared. He sighed deeply, and sadness appeared between his brows.
"I have to find out what the curse is so I can take precautions."
Kronos thought so and came up with an idea.
He planned to visit His Highness Taren again after the feast was over. As a suspected god of fate, he believed that Taren must know the content of Uranus's final curse.
Gaia looked at Kronos who was worried and couldn't help but frowned, but still patiently comforted him. It was a pity that Kronos didn't listen to anything now, so it had no effect.
After experiencing the events of the God King Uranus, Gaia was exhausted both physically and mentally. She was unwilling to interfere too much in the affairs of the gods. Seeing that Kronos did not listen to her, she simply stopped talking.
Kronos is not yet the true king of gods, he can only be regarded as the leader chosen by the gods.
But in this world where the throne of the King of Gods is vacant, the leader of the gods is barely qualified, so the will of the world will sooner or later completely recognize him. Just give him a little more time, and he will eventually become as powerful as Uranus.
But at least he is not completely strong yet, so he will be afraid and worried. He cannot be as confident as the naturally powerful Uranus, who is even confident to the point of arrogance.
So in the end, Uranus lost because of his own arrogance.
In comparison, Kronos, the second-generation God King, is much more cautious.
But these are not things that Tarun cares about.
While the gods were celebrating their victory over the God King, Taren also returned to his own empty space to rest.
Because he forcibly used the power of fate to stop Uranus from uttering the curse, his divine power has been severely depleted and it may take a long time to recover.
However, he believes that the benefits of doing so will definitely outweigh the disadvantages.
As the god of fate, in order to maximize his interests, Taren must of course drive his own destiny. If Uranus really utters the final curse, it will have nothing to do with him.
"What a troublesome guy. If he wants to curse, then curse. Why speak it out loud?" Taren thought with some dissatisfaction.
Taren has never liked the God King Uranus.
If the second and third generations of gods were absurd but at least had some rationality, then Uranus's generation was purely arrogant and took pleasure in torturing others.
But this is not the most important thing. The most important thing is that Uranus always firmly holds the right to reproduce and does not allow any god other than him to have children.
Because of the prophecy, he not only did not give birth, but also stuffed the already born god back into the mother's womb. When he did this, he was destined to be overthrown.
Because if no new gods are born, it means that there are no new rules in this world, which means that it cannot continue to evolve and develop, which is against the wishes of the world Chaos.
Taren was also affected by this. The god who controls destiny saw that there were only a few gods in the whole world. When he counted them, there were only two or three big cats and small cats. Is this reasonable?
How can he have destiny if he doesn't even have life? How can he be powerful?
So he decided to take action and end the rule of this generation of gods who had made no progress as soon as possible. If it were not for him, Uranus would have been overthrown for at least a thousand years.
He didn't want to wait that long.
Now Tarun only hopes that the second generation God King Kronos can be more powerful, improve the world, and create more life.
Just as he was thinking this, his eyes suddenly looked into the void and saw a distinguished guest rushing to visit him.
It was the second generation God King Kronos.
"It's more urgent than I thought." Taren murmured softly, with a slight smile on his face. "It seems that you are very concerned about this curse."
