Yano entered the dark corridor, the air thick with the scent of dampness and dust. The sounds of his voices echoed through the walls, and everything he wanted made him shudder. The blue light emanating from the stone in his hand, almost a tiny one, illuminated the path ahead.
Suddenly, a half-human, half-automatic musical machine emerged from the beast's wings, its eyes glowing red. Yano raised his dagger, and the beast charged at breakneck speed.
"No room for error..." Yano whispered for the first time.
He moved quickly, wrapping himself around the beast and its legs, a wave of blue sparks emanating from the blow. The beast roared and pushed again, and Yano used the stone to wiggle it, temporarily blocking it.
As Yano advanced, the corridor began to crack, and strong gaps appeared on the ground, each step indicating gravity.
"Focus...just focus."
Yano led him to another platform, where he found a stone door bearing strange symbols. He placed his hand on the zip code, and the door opened, revealing a room filled with aetheric rays.
Inside the room, he quickly looked around and found a mysterious diagram showing the network of tunnels and gates surrounding the city.
"If this is controlled, I'll be able to control the upcoming presentations to the Council."
But before anyone could think, they heard multiple voices behind him, faint whispers, nothing else in the darkness watching him.
Yano raised his second dagger, ready to face the unknown, knowing that every moment here carried a danger that could end his life or give him a chance at survival alone.
