A chill ran down his spine. " Who is he?" Kane muttered. His words made everyone shocked , some with fear , others with excitement. One thing was sure , he was of different caliber. The voice faded, and the hall fell silent. Moments ago it was chaos, but his presence alone restored order.It was none other than his father and the sect leader of the great Heavenly Void Sect.
Yet , his attention was elsewhere, the more shocking thing was that he also got mythic wonder. A smirk left his mouth. The joy he felt was truly overwhelming, after all the one with the mythic wonder was a force to be reckoned with."Now what do the elders think of this",he wondered tensely .
Suddenly, a weak voice was echoed through the hall "Let's end the ceremony"after some pause he continued, his body pale "This time the empire got two mythic wonders". He was exhausted by the pressure thus , he announced that the ceremony has ended.
Some were shocked , some were tense , some were excited but it was true that all of them had gained something from it but Kane was the one who benefited most .After few hours , he was finally back again in his mansion. "Haha" looking himself in mirror , with pride, his lips curved upward . He was astonished and shocked by the result.
"So, it's tomorrow huh", he muttered.
The next morning, the sky was clear and calm. He stood outside his mansion, wearing the dark robe of Heavenly Void Sect. A carriage awaited him, its emblem carved with a void dragon god. Rumors had it that a dragon god remains in the sect. It seemed true. A chill ran down his spine. A dragon huh..?, he muttered, a faint smile appeared in his face.
Servants bowed as he stepped in. The path ahead led to the main sect , where geniuses of both the great AZURE SECT AND HEAVENLY VOID SECT were present.
The moment Azure Sect name came to his mind , his chest tightened remembering the flash back of Edgar . Even if both had gotten mythic wonder , Edgar was more powerful one. He gritted his teeth unconsciously and clenched his fist "Now is not the time for that".
Kane knew that the both sects came from same lineage and the two sects leader were bound by blood and oath making them brothers. But while the Heavenly Void Sect was an ancient sect , with great resources and manpower , and long standing as one of the great sects . The Azure sect was only founded after the current sect leader rose to power and established his own sect. He was a perfect role model for Kane as without any support , he founded the Azure Sect and made it to the top of great sects. His achievement was just too great to fathom.
All his way his thought was soley on Azure Sect.
"Young master , we have arrived at the destination",cani ne's gentle voice broke his thought. The carriage had arrived at the destination. The scenery outside was extravagant, sunlight pierced the carriage . Kane slowly stepped outside the carriage.
The energy outside was pure and gentle, a gust of wind blowing sideways . A large mansion stood before him. It was now his new home. It was neither lavish nor too ruined but it was comfortable and considered as a palace in his previous life. With a sigh… ,he entered the mansion. The mansion was cleaned , Plants were flowered , it seemed the mansion was taken a good care.
But what surprised him was the lack of servants , no one came to greet him, nor his luggage was carried. Ultimately canine carried all his luggage and moved them inside. Kane was now rather angry. It was not that there were no servants but they seemed to completely dishonor Kane. That truly snapped him. He angrily thought of teaching them lesson and angrily moved inside. He was strictly going to make them rules.
He ordered everybody to come to the hall, only few servants came. He was now frustrated, everyone one present there could sense his killing intent. After the ceremony his energy was stabilized and was transcended to Core reforging middle level. Every people after passing the ceremony their initial stage should be Core reforging lower level but his wonder was mythic . He didn't have to start at the lower level nor do anything significant training now his body can put up a fight even to a High level expert.
Just as its name suggests Core reforging means reforging their soul to advanced to immortality, no physical from normal people can damage them.
After some pauses "Bring them all", Kane ordered coldly. Canine nods immediately vanishing in a thin air.
"As you all know i am the new head of this mansion", with a rather soft voice but everyone could feel his malice towards them. He continued "Now you all have to obey me". He was still not finished . Suddenly , "Why do we have to follow a navie brat", a servant spoke with a cocky smile . Instantly a small dagger flew with a lightning speed towards him , piercing his throat , dagger struck behind the wall . The wall beside him fully cracked , Stones all over the floor, blood splattered like a rain. The whole environment filled with deep silence.
A smrik left kane mouth. His voice loud "hahahhahahh…..hahha…hahha",laugh of madman echoed through the mansion. "But did i have to laugh , am i some kind of manic", a deep confusion was settled in his heart. His gripped his hand , his hand trembling. But that didn't last long.
