Chapter 5 - Chapter 5: A Big House for Two

The house that Maruzensky bought is not very big.

But it was more than enough to fit two people.

And after she had settled her child, Maruzensky asked the first question: "What's your name?"

She didn't directly ask the reason why she agreed to her proposal, because that wasn't so important to both parties, so Maruzensky chose to ask the question first.

"...Shizen."

She didn't say the word Tokai, because Tokai Nature still remembered that she had been removed from the Tokai Family.

After getting this answer, Maruzensky looked at Tokai Nature: "I don't care why you came to Tokyo, but do you have a place to go back to?"

She shook her head.

Without the slightest hesitation, after all, that was the truth.

And seeing Tokai Nature's performance, Maruzensky frowned.

Generally speaking, there are no Uma Musume who have no place to return to.

After all, Uma Musume's attitude towards people is still very good, so even Uma Musume who appear as orphans can actually return to the orphanage where they used to be for a period of time, after all, Uma Musume's labor is still very useful.

But there are always exceptions.

Just like some Uma Musume who are adopted by large families, there are also some Uma Musume who are abandoned by their families.

Only those Uma Musume have absolutely no place to stay.

And if that's the case... thinking of this, Maruzensky looked at the child in her arms.

That was a baby, aged within the range of one year old, and in the last two years, the only thing that could be considered news among Uma Musume, perhaps, was only that matter.

Thinking of this,

The expression on Maruzensky's face changed slightly.

She remembered that the final handling of that matter was... "That..."

A slight voice interrupted Maruzensky's thoughts.

Until now, Maruzensky noticed the expression on her face.

As the person who was brought in by Maruzensky, Tokai Nature didn't overstep the owner of this house's thoughts, she was still waiting for her to make arrangements for her.

Looking at Tokai Nature and the child in her arms, Maruzensky only thought for a few seconds, and then said: "There is a living room on the left side of the second floor, you can rest in that room, the most basic daily necessities are also inside, you can use them directly."

"Thank you."

Not hearing any more requests, Tokai Nature thanked her, and then walked up the stairs to the second floor.

Walking up to the second floor, Tokai Nature saw a corridor that wasn't very long.

There was a door on the left side of the corridor, which was the living room that Maruzensky mentioned, and as for the two doors on the right, Tokai Nature didn't intend to explore what was inside.

According to Maruzensky, Tokai Nature pushed open the only door on her left.

What Tokai Nature saw when she opened the door was a room with only basic necessities, without much decoration.

After entering the room, Tokai Nature closed the door.

As for locking it?

Tokai Nature wouldn't do such a meaningless thing, because for the physical fitness of those top Uma Musume, they could probably break through the wall directly.

So locking the door is simply meaningless, unless this door is specially designed for the basement to prevent other Uma Musume from snatching the Trainer, otherwise it doesn't have much meaning.

Tokai Nature, who closed the door, soon heard footsteps coming from downstairs.

Maruzensky's footsteps sounded a little hurried.

And Tokai Nature, who heard these footsteps, didn't care what she would think, because judging from her physical fitness, no matter what Maruzensky wanted to do to her, she would be controlled by Maruzensky in an extremely easy way, so thinking too much was useless.

Instead, it would be better to cooperate when she wanted to do something.

Moreover, cooperating would be better for her body.

After all, with her body.

Tokai Shizen did not think she could do anything too drastic in her current state.

So Tokai Shizen just looked at the child in her arms, then reached out and touched her head.

Unlike most babies, this daughter, who had left the Tokai Family with Tokai Shizen, was very well-behaved and seemed to have no habit of crying or fussing, which made Tokai Shizen feel quite good about taking care of her.

At least it wasn't annoying.

After finishing the feeding, Tokai Shizen finally felt like she could rest for a while, but probably only for a short while.

Because even the most well-behaved baby will cry when hungry.

So, when Tokai Shizen woke up the next morning, her face still had a hint of dark circles under her eyes.

This was a problem caused by the accumulation of fatigue over these past few days, and it couldn't be solved for now.

Tokai Shizen, holding her child, walked downstairs and saw an empty living room.

After looking around, Tokai Shizen saw a note taped to the refrigerator door.

Walking over and taking down the note from the refrigerator door, Tokai Shizen saw Maruzensky's instructions regarding several matters.

First, about accommodation.

"Hmm, so that means I can temporarily live here..."

Then came the issue of food.

"There are only some instant products in the fridge..."

Finally, there was the issue the young Uma Musume cared least about: what she needed to do.

"...Hmm? I only need to complete daily cleaning."

Looking at such simple requirements, Tokai Shizen's face was full of confusion.

She couldn't imagine what Maruzensky's demands on her were.

But, undoubtedly, she must have had other intentions for her, otherwise she wouldn't have done so much.

However, faced with this result, Tokai Shizen merely frowned slightly, then opened the refrigerator door.

Tokai Shizen could tell there was something amiss with this situation; after all, she wasn't one of those people with a slow mind.

However, she had no choice.

Firstly, her own body; although no problems requiring hospitalization had arisen so far, the issue of being frail and sickly still plagued her.

Secondly, due to the Tokai Family's actions, Tokai Shizen was currently unsure if her identity information had been marked as deceased. If it had been canceled, then doing anything would become extremely difficult.

Finally, her daughter could not be like her; even if Tokai Shizen could push her own body, her daughter could not be like her.

So, hindered by these three reasons...

Tokai Shizen chose to ignore Maruzensky's ulterior motives.

Recalling the information she had investigated earlier, Maruzensky rubbed her head.

She had thought the other party's situation might be troublesome, but she hadn't expected it to be *that* troublesome.

So troublesome that she didn't know how to handle it.

But fortunately, years of working in the Student Council had made her realize that no matter how this matter was handled later, for now, Tokai Shizen needed a new identity.

Otherwise, once her identity was exposed, it would be a huge problem for both her and Rudolph Symboli.

If this matter only affected Tokai Shizen, then so be it.

But Rudolph Symboli, as the current President of the Tracen Student Council and the Emperor among Uma Musume;

And Maruzensky's good friend, she had to help Rudolph Symboli avoid this troublesome issue.

After all, judging by Rudolph Symboli's performance, Maruzensky felt that Rudolph Symboli might not have even realized the gravity of this matter.
