"Good that you're back. Help me teach your sister a lesson. If we don't discipline her soon, she'll think she can do whatever she wants. She doesn't even listen to me anymore! What a disgrace!"
Oliver raised an eyebrow. He had heard that Ella used to be the most obedient daughter when it came to Dalton.
In just a few days, she had the audacity to go against her father. He was genuinely curious to meet this new version of Elle Grant.
During dinner, Sabrina Anderson put on an impressive show of effort.
"Come on, Oliver, eat more meat! You haven't been home for meals these past few days, and look at you—you're so thin! It breaks my heart, dear."
Oliver Grant was now in charge of most of the Grant family's businesses, so Sabrina was clearly trying hard to win his favor. But judging by Oliver's expressionless face, it didn't seem to be working.
Ella Grant sat quietly beside them, trying to suppress a laugh at the scene unfolding before her.
Did Sabrina really think everyone would fall for her act?
Stella Grant noticed Sabrina's awkwardness and decided to play the sweet sister card. "Brother, it's been so long since we last saw you. Mom and I have really missed you."
Before Oliver could respond, Isaac Grant chimed in from the side.
"Hey, the day before yesterday, our second brother was at home all day."
Stella's face froze for a moment, then she forced a smile.
"Hey, Stella just loves to play with her big brother!"
Sabrina Anderson stepped in to help Stella Grant, smoothly shifting the conversation toward ElleaGrant.
"By the way, Ella, why aren't you talking to your second brother?"
Sabrina feigned surprise and then pretended to support Ella grant.
"It must be because it's your first time meeting. From now on, Xiaoxue, you should help your sister and brother get to know each other better. We're all family now."
Stella Grant was about to nod in agreement when Isaac finally spoke up.
"We've met before."
Sabrina's face visibly tensed. Did Ella manage to win over isaac already? That was not good news for her.
Oliver also looked surprised at isaac.
Isaac then explained, "We all attended the auction at the Hall of Saints today."
Sabrina forced a smile, "Oh really? Seeing how close you siblings are puts me at ease."
