Hearing his name, thankfully due to the body Derian was currently in, he didn't show much of a reaction, well at least on the outside. 'Shit, what could they possibly be planning? I mean, I loved the guy, yes, but in all reality he is a very broken man.

Confused at his statement, Derian couldn't help but look at Kim Min-hwan in confusion and ask, ''What do you-''
It was then that a loud explosion was heard that echoed through the train the both of them were in as a piece of the train came loose as it flew through the air and passed right through Derian's head, or rather, it came right through his left eye, and yet he was somehow still conscious enough to experience the pain of his seat bursting apart and his neck shattering as Kim Min-hwan, with a smile on his face right next to him, had countless rebar stick out of their body.
Slowly bleeding out as he looked at Derian, slowly muttering the words ''It's a pity'' to himself without a care in the world for death entirely. However, Derian didn't get the chance to think for very long as his skill activated once more.

With a short gasp of air, Derian's eyes came into focus as he looked around, feeling as if he was in a dream and he just woke up. Frowning at that feeling, of course, he looked out the window as he saw the face of a pale man who could very well be mistaken for a corpse if he were to close his eyes.

Squinting his eyes, Derian couldn't help but think, 'Isn't the Corridor Of Time the birthplace of the fey who manage the tower? How did I even travel through it as it-' However, his thoughts were cut off by a voice from his side, dull but not listless, that sounded.
''I smelled nicotine from you, would you mind giving me a smoke?''
Hearing that, Derian started having a strange case of déjà vu. Derian reflexively started reaching for his bag; however, he stopped shortly before saying,
''Sorry, I just remembered smoking is illegal in Korean trains.''
However, he just got a few chuckles from some people around him in suits who had dead fish eyes, which gave him a higher feeling of déjà vu, right before the somewhat androgynous fellow spoke up once again.
''That's true; however, at this time the train conductor turns off the camera's and takes a smoke break, of course he turns it on later, but even if it was discovered, he is the son of a rich tycoon who is just being punished, so no officials will do anything.''
Hearing this, Derian went along with what the guy said as he reached into his bag and threw the pack at them as he didn't really care for smoking and instead would rather die of drinking too much soda than anything, but also it felt natural, like something he had already done before.
At his actions, the man smiled at him before slowly opening the box and taking out a cigarette, stuffing it in his mouth, although he didn't start smoking yet and instead said, ''You know, for your small act, i'll help you as you seem knew to Korea; I mean, you didn't even notice everyone secretly smoking or drinking.''
With a soft chuckle, Derian just scratched the back of his head that seemed to be screaming at him to remember something, then said, ''Thanks for that, but uhh, might I know your name before that?''
And as if expecting this question, the man responded by saying, ''Kim Min-hwan is my name, nice to meet you.''
And it was at this moment Derian's eyes widened as he grabbed the somewhat androgynous man and jumped off his seat. As he did so, he felt that the man's body truly was somewhat like a woman's as the same explosion happened once again. This time, however, he only got a blow to his head.
However, it was manageable as Kim Min-hwan, who Derian suspected to be the regressor, spoke up under his breath, ''Interesting, I have never once saw this person survive. Perhaps he just didn't want to, or is the stream interfering somehow before the tower fully emerges?''
Though their tone was somewhat as if they were self-assured, as if knowing everything, it was also more questioning, like they doubted every breath that even came out of them as true.
Of course, Derian, who was holding on to said Kim Min-hwan, couldn't help his heart racing: one, because he nearly died, and two, because in real life he was hearing his favorite character talk like how they would in the novel and exactly how he imagined at that.
But of course, he didn't get the time to appreciate the situation as from the air a notification rang out.
