Steve smiled helplessly when he heard what Tony said, with some nostalgia in his eyes.

"You haven't changed at all, Tony," he said softly.

"You're still so hard-mouthed but soft-hearted."

"Fuck!" Tony felt his hair stand on end.

"Do you know me?"

"Of course." Steve smiled.

"I know a guy who's just like you. He's a true hero."

As he spoke, his tone became increasingly low.

Henry watched the scene quietly without interrupting.

He knew that the person Steve was talking about was Tony, the man in the main universe who sacrificed himself to save the universe.

At this moment, the two Tonys can be said to have "met", right?

"Okay, let's put aside the time for reminiscing." Henry clapped his hands, drawing everyone's attention back.

"Mr. Rogers, let's get down to business."

He pulled over a chair and sat down with his arms and legs stretched out, not knowing for a moment who was the host.

"S.H.I.E.L.D. is now under my control. I've sent Nick Fury, the manipulative one-eyed man, to early retirement. I've also collectively fired those bureaucrats from the World Security Council who only drag their feet. Now, I need someone, someone truly capable, prestigious, and trustworthy, to take charge of the new S.H.I.E.L.D."

His eyes passed Steve and fell on Peggy Carter in her wheelchair.

"Aunt Peggy, I think there is no one more suitable than you in this world."

Peggy was stunned.

There was some disbelief in her cloudy eyes.

Let her take charge of S.H.I.E.L.D.?

"Kid, are you kidding?" She smiled bitterly and shook her head.

"Look at me now. I can hardly even pour myself a glass of water. How can I manage such a large organization?"

She thought Henry was just comforting her, or that he was seeking Steve's help subtly.

"No, Aunt Peggy, who said we have to use you as you are now?" Henry smiled mysteriously.

He stood up, walked over to Tony, and put his arm around his shoulders.

"Let me introduce you to Tony Stark, the planet's top genius, arms dealer, philanthropist, playboy... ahem, in short, his brain is filled with countless cutting-edge technologies that are ahead of our time."

"And me." Henry pointed at himself.

"I happen to know some technology that comes from the gods. For example, you know Asgard? It's the place in Norse mythology where a group of muscular men and blonde beauties live. Their technology can extend people's lifespan by thousands of years. Reversing aging is as easy for them as doing a skin care treatment for us."

Steve's eyes moved slightly when he heard the word Asgard. Thor?

He thought of this old friend. Is he okay?

In this timeline, he should be banished to the mortal world soon, right?

For a moment, memories of the future flooded his mind, making him feel mixed emotions.

Tony rolled his eyes as he listened.

This bastard doesn't even think before he brags?

Skin care? Do you think that's a beauty salon?

But he did not refute it, because he knew that, theoretically, what Henry said was not impossible.

However, the research and resources required for such a project would be astronomical.

But for the Stark family, money and technology have never been a problem.

Peggy and Steve looked at each other and saw shock in each other's eyes.

Rejuvenation?

Is this kind of thing really possible?

"So, my plan is very simple." Henry spread his hands and spoke lightly.

"The first step is to utilize Stark Industries' technology and Asgard's life sciences to restore Aunt Peggy to her peak condition at age thirty."

"The second step is for Peggy Carter, who has returned to her peak, to officially become the first director of the new S.H.I.E.L.D., using her experience and prestige to completely rectify this mess."

"Step three." His gaze fell on old Steve again.

"Let's dig out Captain America, who's still frozen in the Arctic. Then, a young female director of S.H.I.E.L.D. and a newly awakened World War II hero. Gee, I think the media around the world will go crazy for it."

Tony's mouth twitched as he listened.

He knew it! He knew this bastard was having another bad idea!

After all this time, it's just to watch the show!

Steve's expression also became a little strange.

He looked at Henry, not knowing what to say for a moment.

This young man's train of thought is really... too strange.

Let young Peggy be the immediate boss of the younger self?

What is this?

Only Peggy, after the initial shock, had a fire slowly light up in her eyes.

Rejuvenate?

Take over S.H.I.E.L.D. again?

This temptation is irresistible to any woman who has ever stood on top of the world.

She has dedicated her entire life to S.H.I.E.L.D.

Watching it corrode and decay was the greatest heartache of her later years.

If there really is such an opportunity, she can set everything right with her own hands.

"I don't need you to pay anything. I just need you and Mr. Rogers beside you to answer me a question." He put away all the jokes and teasing, and his expression became serious.

He looked at Steve and asked word by word.

"The future of this world is changing rapidly. Hydra is just the tip of the iceberg, and more threats are approaching from the depths of the universe."

"And you, Steve Rogers, a prophet from the future, a person who should not belong to this era."

"Will you choose to continue hiding here, guarding your own love and becoming a bystander to history?"

"Or will you choose to stand up and join us as the guardian of this world?"

"The choice is in your hands."

After Henry finished speaking, he stopped talking.

He looked at the two people in front of him quietly, waiting for their answers.

The room fell silent.

The sunlight slanted down onto the ground through the floor-to-ceiling windows. The two figures stood motionless, as if they were thinking about something.

Tony stood aside, frowning tightly.

He felt like a mortal who had accidentally stumbled into the chess game of the gods.

Each of these three people seems to hold a secret that can change the direction of the world.

And he, the so-called Iron Man, Playboy, billionaire...

Ahem, at this moment, he actually seemed a little redundant?

The thought made him feel very uncomfortable.

When has Tony Stark ever played a supporting role?!

No, he has to say something to restore the protagonist's dignity!

"Ahem."

He cleared his throat, trying to break the solemn atmosphere.

"I say, can everyone calm down for a moment? Rejuvenation and saving the world all sound pretty cool. But before we discuss such grand propositions, can we first address a more realistic issue?"

He pointed at Henry, then at old Steve.

"So, there are two Captain Americas in our world now? An old one, and a young one, still frozen in the refrigerator? Then what should we call them in meetings in the future? Captain and Old Captain? Or Captain 1.0 a nd Captain 2.0? What if we call the wrong one? Wouldn't the situation be very embarrassing?"

"And-..." He stroked his chin and analyzed seriously.

"According to my limited theory of time, if two identical people appeared in the same space and time, wouldn't that cause some kind of time paradox? Like the world suddenly exploding, or us all turning into spaghetti?"

Peggy:

Steve...

Henry: ...

"Tony, you look smarter when you shut up."

This bastard always asks questions that spoil the mood most inappropriately!

However, Tony's joke unexpectedly lightened the atmosphere in the room.

Steve looked at Tony's face, which was similar to Howard's, yet completely different.
