"boom!!"
Blonsky's landing was simple and rough.
He was like a bomb dropped from the sky, smashing directly into the central square of the logistics base, instantly creating a huge crater in the ground. The huge air wave overturned everything around.
The Hydra soldiers in the base were terrified by this sudden change, and the alarm sounded shrilly, piercing the night sky.
"Enemy attack! Enemy attack!"
Before they could organize an effective counterattack, Blonsky had already grinned bloodthirstily.
His body began to swell rapidly the moment he landed, and the surface of his skin. It was quickly covered with a layer of light yellow.
Then, his muscles bulged, his body grew taller, and in the blink of an eye, he turned into that terrifying abomination.
"This is what war should be like!"
Blonsky felt the surging power in his body and let out a satisfied growl.
This feeling is a thousand times more satisfying than obeying the orders of politicians in the army!
Even though the Stark brothers were terrible at talking, at least they gave him a real battlefield, a stage where he could unleash his power. It felt so damn good to be treated as a comrade-in-arms instead of an experimental subject!
He roared and rushed towards the nearest ammunition depot like a heavy tank out of control.
At the same time, on the other side of the base, Pietro's figure left an afterimage on the battlefield.
"Hey guys, guess who I am?"
A Hydra team on patrol only heard a frivolous voice in their ears.
The next second, they felt a pain in their neck, their vision went dark, and they lost consciousness instantly.
Pietro stopped, looked at the soldiers lying on the ground, and snapped his fingers in satisfaction.
This new armor is so cool!
Even though Tony Stark was narcissistic and arrogant, he was a true genius at making toys. Speed, strength, reflexes... all-around improvements!
This feeling is like driving a Ferrari on a country road. In one word, awesome!
"Wanda, West Sector Outpost Number Four has been cleared. It took... uh, about tw o seconds?" he said proudly on the communication channel.
"How's it going over there? Did you see anything interesting?"
"Shut up, Pietro, and focus." Wanda's voice came calmly.
She floated in mid-air, red energy enveloping her body like a veil, allowing her to blend into the night.
Her eyes flashed a faint red light, and the energy flow and personnel distribution of the entire base were all clearly visible under her perception. Henry was right, control, not release.
She felt that these forces that once frightened her and made her lose control were now like docile streams. Under her guidance, they silently infiltrated the base's surveillance system, tampered with the camera images, and blocked abnormal energy signals.
She was like a ghost operator, clearing away all possible obstacles for her brother behind the scenes.
This feeling is wonderful; it is no longer destruction, but protection.
She is no longer the unstable bomb, but a scalpel.
"Okay, okay, I'll listen to you." Pete poked his lips, and his figure turned into a silver light again, rushing towards the next target. At this moment, the main gate of the base.
"Bruce, are you ready for a fireworks show?"
Tony's voice rang out in his armor, and his armor streaked across the night sky with brilliant light. The micro-missile launch ports on his shoulders were all opened.
"I'm more concerned about the data inside, Tony." Banner followed him with excitement in his tone.
Although he hated violence, he had to admit that being with a group of like-minded companions, even if they all had quirky personalities, wasn't the point.
The key was the feeling of fighting for a just cause. This brought back a long-lost ray of sunshine to his heart, which had long been shrouded in the shadow of the Hulk.
Furthermore, from a scientific perspective, Hydra's Centipede Project was indeed of great research value.
"Details, Bruce, don't worry about the details!" Tony laughed.
"Art is the most important! Jarvis, bring on some BGM, 'Thunderstruck', turn up the volume!"
Accompanied by passionate rock music, dozens of micro-missiles with long tails of flames, like a grand meteor shower, slammed heavily on the gate of the base!
"Boom! Boom! Boom!"
Their mission officially reached its climax amid deafening explosions and rock music.
New Mexico
Outside Jane Foster's trailer.
Jane came out carrying a plate of cake that looked a little burnt, with a slightly embarrassed smile on her face.
"Well, dessert is ready. My oven has been having some issues lately, so it might have been a little over-baked."
Daisy followed her, holding a large pot of cream and winking furtively at Henry and Thor.
Henry looked at the plate of cake that looked as heavy as coal, and the corners of his mouth twitched.
As expected of Thor's future girlfriend, she has a real talent for dark cuisine.
Are you sure eating this thing won't trigger some weird mutations?
He turned to look at Thor and signaled him with his eyes.
It's your time to show off, kid.
Thor took a deep breath and remembered what Henry had just taught him.
Stars!Yes, stars!
He stood up, walked to Jane, tried hard to force a smile that he thought was very gentle, and then spoke solemnly in his loud voice.
"Jane!"
Jane Foster was startled by his sudden roar, and the plate in her hand shook.
Thor looked at Jane Foster's beautiful eyes, which were wide with fear, and his mind frantically searched for the words Henry had taught him.
"Your eyes are clear..." He held it in for a long time before finally uttering a sentence.
"They are like... like... two bright... uh... light bulbs in the night sky of Midgard! Yes! Very bright! Brighter than my father Odin's Eternal Lance!"
"Puff!! Cough cough cough!"
The big mouthful of cream that Daisy had just put into her mouth instantly sprayed out, choking her and making her cough and tears flow.
Jane was stunned. She stared at Thor blankly, her mind going blank.
Light bulb? Gun of Eternity? What kind of weird metaphor is this?
Is he complimenting me, or saying that my eyes are scary big?
Henry covered his face weakly.
Oh my god, I was wrong.
I was really wrong.
He overestimated a straight man with a brain full of muscles and his literary accomplishments.
Light bulb? Eternal Gun? Why don't you say it's like two searchlights?
If Odin knew that his proud heir pursued girls in this way, he would probably be so angry that he would fall off the throne.
I gave you a Shakespearean play, and you turned it into a duet.
"Ahem." Henry cleared his throat and decided to step forward to save the awkward atmosphere.
He walked over to Thor, patted his stiff shoulder, and smiled at Jane, who looked bewildered.
"Jane, what the prince meant is that your eyes are as bright as the stars, full of wisdom and the courage to explore the unknown. Asgardians, as you know, are not good at subtle expressions and prefer to be direct."
Jane smiled slightly. She glanced at Thor, who looked embarrassed like a child who had done something wrong, and couldn't help laughing.
"Thank you, Thor. Your light bulb is the most special compliment I have ever received."
Thor looked at Jane's smile. Although he still didn't quite understand what he had said wrong, he could feel that the atmosphere seemed to have improved. He scratched his head and laughed innocently, too.
Henry rolled his eyes.
Doesn't Asgard include love tutorials?
Besides, as a prince, Thor is a complete failure.
Other princes live a life of debauchery and luxury, but Thor is a dull-witted man who thinks all day long about how to fight.
Germany, inside the experimental base.
"boom!"
Abomination smashed the door of the ammunition depot with one punch. He looked at the piles of weapons and ammunition inside and smiled cruelly. These would all become part of a grand fireworks display.
He grabbed two huge boxes of explosives and threw them in the direction of the energy station as easily as throwing stones.
On the other side, Pietro had cleared out the last action team.
He rushed into a control room somewhere in the base like a gust of wind, grinned as he looked at the base structure diagram displayed on the screen.
"Wanda, I found something good!" he shouted excitedly in the communication channel.
"The ventilation system here connects to every corner of the base! What would happen if I sent this nerve gas through the ventilation ducts?"
"Don't do anything unnecessary, Pietro." Wanda's voice stopped him in time.
"Our mission is to destroy, not to massacre. Besides, Dr. Banner still needs the data inside."
Her voice was firm and convincing.
Pietro curled his lips, and although he was a little unwilling, he still obediently gave up this bold idea.
Okay, okay, I'll listen to you.
You're my sister, after all? But if you can't use poison gas, you can at least do something else to cause trouble, right?
He rolled his eyes and looked at the main power switch in the control room.
At this moment, Tony and Banner had already broken through the layers of defense. And arrived at the core area of the base.
Yes, it was the laboratory of Project Centipede. The lights in the laboratory were brightly lit, and various instruments were running. The moment several researchers in white coats saw Iron Man, they screamed and ran away in all directions.
"Oh, look, how rude. Guests are coming, and they don't even prepare a cup of coffee." Tony landed in the middle of the laboratory. He looked around with a disgusted tone.
"Jarvis, scan the entire lab and download all the data about the Centipede Project for me. Also, help me see if they have any iced Coke in their refrigerator. I'm a little thirsty."
Banner walked quickly to the main computer and tapped his fingers rapidly on the keyboard.
"Tony, their database is multi-encrypted and physically isolated. Breaking it by force will take time. Also, I detected an independent energy core connected to a biological culture tank."
At this moment, a heavy door at the deepest part of the laboratory slowly opened.
A man in a well-fitting suit, looking like a successful businessman, walked out from behind the door with a slightly sick smile on his face, clapping as he walked.
"Wonderful, really wonderful." John Garrett looked at Tony and Banner and exclaimed.
"As expected of Stark, your appearance is always so grand. I have to admit, you tw o brothers have caused us quite a bit of trouble lately." Tony lowered his mask and raised an eyebrow.
"Garrett, right? A Level 7 agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. and a loyal lackey of Hydra a. Nice to meet you in person. You look ten years older in your photos. Have you been using any new skincare products lately? Or is it that the food at Hydra is just too good and too greasy?"
"Tony Stark, you are still so confident." Garrett's smile remained unchanged.
"However, words can't save you. Do you think you've won? No, you've only made me determined to launch my most perfect work ahead of time."
