Chapter 68 - Chapter 68:Free Solar Generator

"Hahaha!"

Fury suddenly laughed, a raspy, self-deprecating laugh.

"The Avengers," he muttered.

"I worked so hard for so many years to finally put together a beautiful agent and a man who wields a bow and arrow. And these two guys found me the world's best partner overnight?"

"Sir..." Hill looked at him with some worry.

"I'm fine." Fury waved his hand, stood up again, and walked back to the floor-to-ceiling window.

His back remained straight, like a javelin that never bends.

"Notify them." He said in a decisive voice.

"Temporarily cancel all surveillance and contact plans with the Stark brothers. From now on, raise their threat level to the highest level. Also, raise their assessment level to the highest level."

"The World Security Council..."

"Let them wait," Fury said coldly.

"Tell them that SHIELD is handling it. If they have any objections, let them send someone to talk to those two monsters themselves." "And." He paused, rubbed his eyebrows, and continued.

"Tell the Finance Department to prepare two billion dollars. I think we'll soon receive a huge repair bill from Stark Industries."

Hill was stunned for a moment, then could only nod helplessly.

"Yes, sir."

She turned and prepared to leave.

"Wait." Fury suddenly called her.

"Anything else, sir?"

Fury didn't look back; he just looked quietly at the deep night sky outside the window.

"Tell me..." he asked slowly, "Henry Stark, what exactly does he want to do?"

Hill was stunned for a moment, "I don't know..."

Nick Fury didn't say anything else, frowning, not knowing what he was thinking.

As the night deepens, the sunlight in the universe is gradually swallowed up by the shadow of the Earth.

Henry, who was still floating in low Earth orbit, knew nothing about this.

He was sleeping soundly, like a baby back in his mother's arms, peaceful and quiet.

Every cell in his body was like a fully charged battery, emitting powerful vitality.

And below him, on the blue planet with dim lights.

The atmosphere is completely different from the tranquillity in the universe.

Malibu beach house, underground laboratory.

Tony Stark was pacing back and forth in the laboratory in annoyance, with a look of

"I'm unhappy" and "Don't mess with me" were written all over his face.

From time to time, he glanced up at the holographic screen that was broadcasting Henry's space footage in real time, and then snorted with disdain.

"Look at that guy." He picked up a cup of cold coffee and muttered to himself in the empty laboratory.

"Just floating there, motionless, like a piece of abandoned space junk. Seriously, Jarvis, are you sure he hasn't become a vegetable due to permanent brain damage caused by lack of oxygen?"

"Sir, according to my remote vital signs monitoring, Mr. Henry is currently in a very stable condition." Jarvis' gentle voice came from the ceiling speaker.

"His body is absorbing and converting solar energy in a highly efficient manner. In theory, he now gains a huge amount of energy with every breath he takes."

"Oh? Really?" Tony curled his lips, but there was concern in his eyes.

"That's amazing. Looks like we can save a ton on electricity bills. Just chain it to the roof and use it as a free, oversized solar generator. I think that's a great idea."

He said as he walked over to another holographic screen.

It was showing a piece of information about Wakanda that had just been downloaded by Jarvis from the SHIELD database and was marked as top secret by SHIELD.

"A third-world agricultural country hidden deep in the African jungle, isolated from the outside world?" He sneered at the official words on it.

"Jarvis, do you think I, the man who invented you, would believe such nonsense that even a three-year-old couldn't fool?"

"Obviously not, sir."

"Right." Tony snapped his fingers, his brain starting to analyse.

"A country that possesses vibranium resources capable of revolutionizing the world and material science is a Third World agricultural nation? This is even more ridiculous than Henry claiming to be a low-key person."

His hands danced rapidly on the holographic keyboard, and lines of complex code and instructions refreshed on the screen.

"Jarvis! Hack the databases of the CIA, MI6, KGB... all of them! All the databases of major intelligence agencies! Find all the undisclosed intelligence about Wakanda! I want to know what secrets that place holds!"

"Also!" He paused, then continued, "Please urge Wakanda's ambassador to the United Nations. Tell them that I only give them 24 hours to consider. If I don't receive a satisfactory response after 24 hours, then I might consider personally visiting their isolated country for an in-depth on-the-ground investigation."

His words were still arrogant and confident.

"Yes, sir."

"Yes, that's the way it should be."

Half an hour later.

Tony sat on the sofa with a gloomy face, holding a glass of whiskey in his hand. The ice in the glass had been shaken until it was almost melted. Just now, he received a polite but tough response from the Wakanda Embassy.

"I'm sorry, Mr. Stark. Wakanda is a peace-loving and self-sufficient country. We are not interested in any form of external commercial cooperation."

Then, the person on the other end of the phone hung up.

Just like that, he hung up.

"They hung up on me?!" Tony downed the whiskey in his glass, feeling his dignity challenged. "Jarvis, they hung up on Tony Stark?! This is a complete joke."

"Calm down, sir." Jarvis' voice sounded at the right time.

"According to my emotional model analysis, you are currently in an incredible state of mind. I suggest that you..."

"I don't think I need advice!" Tony interrupted.

"What I need is a solution! A solution that will allow me to rush to that damn Wakan da right now, grab their king by the collar, and ask him if he knows what business etiquette is!"

"Perhaps you could try a gentler approach, sir." Jarvis' voice was helpless.

"Gentle?" Tony sneered. "I'm already being gentle. They're so rude!"

As he spoke, he was about to ask Jarvis to pull up the global deployment map of Mark Armor and choose the one with the strongest firepower.

But at this moment, his eyes inadvertently fell on the holographic screen that was broadcasting Henry's sleeping posture in space.

He looked at the quiet and peaceful figure in the picture.

For some reason, his heart suddenly calmed down.

He remembered the words Henry left before he left.

"If he can't handle it, then I'll go myself after I get back from the sun."

"Don't let him mess it up."

"Fuck!" Tony cursed under his breath, and he scratched his already messy hair in annoyance.

He knew that the bastard Henry had already expected this result.

That guy was always like that. He'd say the right things in a way that made him want to be beaten, and then throw all the messes at him like nothing happened. But he just couldn't refute it.

Because he is the older brother.

Because Henry is his younger brother.
