Currently in Tokyo-2—not just original citizens. Also citizens just evacuated fleeing from Tokyo-3.
Roads jammed with vehicles. Metropolitan Police receiving orders rapidly deployed. Directed on-site citizens to evacuate toward other cities.
According to predictions, that thing in sky very likely would crash in area not far from Tokyo-2. Impact from descent—fatal for them.

Police holding command batons stood at streets. Loaded citizens onto large transport trucks.

This transport truck carried all Shinji's classmates.

NERV German branch. Command room. Chairman Keel watched completely undamaged blue meteor on screen. Angrily pounded fist on desk.

In their disbelieving gazes, Shinji Ikari ran onto car roof. Then leaped to apartment rooftop. Directly beneath blue meteor.
"I've reached directly below. You continue accelerating personnel evacuation. The rest... leave to me."
Natsuki's voice through earpiece transmitted into NERV headquarters command room.
Looked up. Watched crystal shell wrapping kaiju in sky. Gaze grave.
"Understood."
"You also must be careful there."
Command room—Misato while contacting government also watched on-site.
"Idiot Shinji! Definitely win!"
Injured Asuka didn't go receive treatment. Instead ran here. Grabbed Misato's microphone.
Heard voice transmitting through earpiece.
"Heard that, Shinji?"
"We absolutely can't lose."
Natsuki smiled. Then said to Shinji in mind.
"I understand!"
Shinji said firmly.
"I won't let them get hurt anymore!"
"Then... let's begin! Our first battle with kaiju!"
Natsuki spoke. Looked upward. Leaped with full force from rooftop. Original standing position showed deep crater.
Bracelet flashed dazzling light.
"Look there!"
"What's that!?"
"That seems like... previously circulated online but then deleted... giant?"
Blue meteor about to crash—a massive figure manifested in dazzling light. Red-silver body clearly visible in their eyes. Flew to sky. Caught meteor about to deliver devastating strike to them. Stopped its fall toward ground.
And controlled impact from contact within harmless range. Used all strength. Lifted it upward!
Among chaotic crowd, many people attracted attention by this amazing scene. Originally about to collapse order—at this moment actually recovered somewhat because of their stopping.
"That's Shinji!"
"Shinji—became giant of light!"

Two massive objects moved in sky. That blue crystal surface suddenly showed burst of blinding light. Like released wave of energy. Repelled giant at close range!
"It's falling!"
People desperately evacuating saw this scene. Instinctively shouted.
Massive blue crystal over 100 meters diameter. Giant 80 meters tall. Simultaneously fell from midair. Time seemed to slow at this moment. What they could imagine in minds now—only what kind of impact would come next!
