"Call me Franc, I don't want to sound like a spoiled child," Franc said with a smirk on his lips. Nathan felt the boy had been born with that ugly smirk.
Amanda chimed in, "He's always like that, he doesn't like being pretentious. That's why all the teachers at school like him," she said proudly. "You two will definitely get along quickly," the woman added.
Nathan wanted to scoff, but he held himself back.
Alexander encouraged him to talk to his other cousins. Meanwhile, he and the adults talked about how the event was about to begin.
Usually, they would play a little game, then eat, chat, and then eat again while chatting.
Nathan was bored. Some of the cousins he was introduced to were still children. Unlike the children at the orphanage, they looked like beautiful and handsome monsters dressed in luxurious clothes. Just looking at them made Nathan uncomfortable.
Nael came and patted him on the shoulder with a big smile. He brought several children behind him.
