Chapter 97 - Nine Years X Starting Pirate King

Some people think too highly of themselves, refusing to bow their heads to anyone.

Some people are self-centered, naturally assuming the entire world should revolve around them.

Unfortunately... this was his, Sean's, consciousness space, not Konoha.

No existence more awesome than him, Sean, was allowed to exist!

The sea of clouds rolled, dragging Madara directly down. His consciousness returned, and Sean opened his eyes, letting out a breath. He grabbed a wisp of wind and snow, mounted it, and drifted leisurely through the window, slowly descending into his room.

The old man, as expected, was lying in the rocking chair, holding an H-manga in his hand. He pretended to read, but in reality, he peeked out, stealing a glance at Sean. The brat was bare-chested, walking straight past him without a single look. 'He's really getting more and more arrogant, huh.'

"A-hem!" He deliberately grunted to show his presence. Maha shouted at Sean, who was walking towards the shower: "Congratulations, Sean."

Sean peeked his head out and glanced at the sky: "I was just thinking, the sun didn't rise in the west today... Old man, you aren't sick, are you?"

It was rare to hear a word of praise from Maha's mouth. Sean winked at Maha.

The old man threw the H-manga over, laughing as he cursed: "You brat, your tail is about to stick straight up into the sky!"

"Beating Silva has made you lose track of yourself, hasn't it? Come on, Grandpa will spar with you."

'He can't hold back already?' Sean looked at Maha mischievously and said meaningfully: "Grandpa, you're not... scared, are you?"

"Ten years isn't long, but it isn't short. When the time comes, if you want to scratch that itch for a fight, I'll satisfy you."

"Hey! Who the hell is scared?" Maha's eyes widened: "Ten years is ten years! Unless you swear you won't go to the Dark Continent."

"Otherwise, when the time comes, this old man will definitely beat the crap out of you!"

'The Dark Continent... Since I'm already here, wouldn't it be a shame not to see it?'

A faint light flashed in Sean's eyes as he chuckled: "Then we'll see if Grandpa has the ability when the time comes!"

After all, ten years was enough for him to finish "Pot Shadow Ninja" and start a new story.

With a trace of anticipation, Sean slammed the door shut, blocking the old man outside. And this block lasted for nine years.

Nine years later, today, the shower door creaked open. An already ten-year-old Alluka shyly peeked out from behind the door and called out to Sean in embarrassment: "Nii-san~ help me with the clasp... I can't get it off."

At the desk with its back to the bathroom, a towering figure heard the noise, turned around, and smiled helplessly. He dropped his brush and stood up.

A large shadow was cast down. Alluka looked up at Sean. His big brother was nearly three meters tall, and standing there in front of him, Alluka suddenly clamped his legs together, feeling like he was about to pee...

"I told you long ago, you have to learn to refuse, Alluka." A young boy still wearing girls' clothes. Kikyo wanted a daughter so badly she'd gone crazy.

Unfortunately, the five Zoldyck children, plus him, Sean, the big brother, were all boys. It basically declared Kikyo's dream shattered.

"But... Mom insisted I wear it. I don't want to hurt her feelings by refusing."

"Isn't there still Kalluto?" Sean helped Alluka unfasten his overalls and rubbed his little head: "Fine, as long as you're happy."

He stood up and closed the bathroom door. "Creak~" The wooden door shut. A clear breeze blew in, rocking the rocking chair. The freshly drawn line art on the desk immediately fell into Maha's hands.

The old man widened his aged eyes to look closely. "Pirate King Chapter 576—The Great Pirate Edward Newgate." A few minutes later, he put down the line art, sighing, and shot Sean a resentful glare: "Didn't I tell you not to draw Whitebeard to his death?"

"Hiruzen Sarutobi too... Danzō too... Madara too... We're not counting the First and Second who were already dead. You brat, can't you be considerate of us old folks?"

"Give him a normal ending?"

"You're not that old, are you, Jiji?" Sean looked down at Maha. Nine years had passed, and the boy had grown up. His original height had already surpassed Silva's by a head. Afterward, by drawing "Pirate King," he had redeemed the "Aokiji Template" and loaded it. Sean's height shot up another section, faintly comparable to the three Admirals: Akainu, Aokiji, and Kizaru!

"How am I not old?" Maha put his hands on his hips, looking up at Sean, and said irritably: "What? Are you planning to be like Whitebeard and kill me in two years?"

"Fine, Sean! Just consider all the years Grandpa doted on you as a waste!"

"Who kills who... that's really not certain, Jiji." A hexagram flickered deep in his right eye. After nine years, Sean could finally see the old man's stats.

[Maha Zoldyck]

[Bone Age: 354]

[Strength: 678458 (Average 10) Note: Quadruple Limit Break]

[Speed: 784581 (Average 10) Note: Quadruple Limit Break]

[Aura: 714568 (Average 10) Note: Quadruple Limit Break]

[Comprehensive Strength Evaluation: B]

Looking at the paper stats alone, the old man could undoubtedly rival the Ant King, Meruem!

In an era without nuclear bombs, basically no one could kill him. Of course, nine years had passed, and he, Sean, hadn't been idle either!

Maha rolled his eyes and looked at Sean gloomily: "'Pot Shadow Ninja' has been finished for three years, and 'Pirate King' has been serialized for three years. Nine years have passed, brat. Grandpa can't see through you anymore. Just as Whitebeard said..."

The old man said, looking a bit desolate: "We remnants of the old era no longer have the right to board the great ship of your new era."

"Heh, now you're getting sentimental." The hexagram in his eyes dissipated, and ring after ring of the Rinnegan climbed up. Sean glanced at Maha, shook his head noncommittally, and aimed his open hand at the refrigerator. "Bansho Ten'in!"

The refrigerator door opened, and two bottles of cola flew out. One was caught by Sean, and the other landed in Maha's arms.

"Instead of wasting time being sentimental, you'd be better off drinking more cola, Jiji."

"That's true." Maha popped the cap and gestured to Sean: "Add some ice."

Sean shot him a look, and with a flick of his hand, a blast of cold air shot towards the cola. The cola instantly froze into a slushy mix of ice and water.

Seeing this, a faint light flashed in Maha's eyes: "Tsk~ the Ice-Ice Fruit really is convenient, isn't it?"

"Just drink your cola, Jiji. You talk too much." He chugged the bottle of cola, then took the line art from Maha's hand. Sean scanned it and sent it to Miss Nanako. Just then—

The prompt from "Sage" resounded in Sean's mind.
