"Hmmm....AAghhh"
Fèng Ruì Hán stirred awake, yawning.He opened his eyes and looked towards the ceiling. The ceiling was a soft sky blue color, not matte grey he remembered. Confused and puzzled, he sat up and looked around, and noticing this wasn't his room. He wasn't wearing his usual black night suit but an emerald green one. Puzzled by his current circumstances, he looked around, wondering what had happened.
he thought to himself, "what happened? where am I ?Who changed my clothes ?"
Panicking, he hurriedly got up and started rummaging through the room to figure out where he was.He spotted a photo frame on the side table, he grabbed it and was shocked. The picture showed a younger , more youthful version of himself istanding beside a very handsome, mixed-race man.
He continued tearing the room apart while doing so he found a a diary. Inside the diary were sketches of a youthful girl who was about seventeen to eighteen years old. As he looked at her portrait, his head started throbbing with unfathomable pain, and some strange memories began flashing through his head.
In the memories, he was still in the orphanage, but the man he saw in the photo came to the orphanage and adopted him. He raised him, took care of him when was sick. Taught him many skills. He had eventually handed over his company to him, and he had just died 2 days ago. But then the flashes continued until they went on forward,and showed another guy who was like a youthful copy of the man in the photo that was on the side table.
And he was also in the dream, but he was angry because that girl was none other than Jī Yǔníng. His fiancée, according to the dream, but he had never met that girl before. Un the dream, it was like he had lost his mind. He had become so irrational, always following after Jī Yǔníng, stalking her like a creep, and always making trouble for the other guy. He was so petty in the dream, he would show up in the high end restaurants that guy worked in as a server and intentionally make things difficult for him until he got fired. After wherever he got a new job, he would always show up there to make things difficult for him or bribe the manager or the business owner for whom the guy worked for so they would fire him constantly making trouble for the guy putting him in a difficult position.
He even bought the apartment the guy was renting and kicked him out. It seems the guy's name was Hóu Mínghuàn,and because he looked to similar to his adpopted father.Fèng Ruì Hán looked into it. He managed to discover that he was actually his adopted father's college girlfriend's son . Because of the similarities between Hóu Mínghuàn. and his adopted father Fèng Yánbó. He suspected that he might be his adoptive father's son with his college girlfriend which he had no knowledge about.
Due to his suspicion, that he got his DNA tested with his adopted father, and it was discovered that he was indeed his dopted father's biological son. In the dream Fèng Ruì Hán became even crazier after that. He was only engaged to Jī Yǔníng because he was the Fèng family head's son, even though he was adopted. If it were to be discovered that Hóu Mínghuàn was his adopted father's biological son, the Jī family would probably break off their engagement because of his obsession with Jī Yǔníng.
He retaliated against Hóu Mínghuàn everywhere. When Hóu Mínghuàn finally started his own company, Fèng Ruì Hán blacklisted him in the industry. Just then, Jī Yǔníng came to him and told him she was in love with someone else Wanted to break off this engagement.
he like an extremely unreasonable person,he refused to do so.Because Jī Yǔníng asked to break of the engagement he became even more crazier. That very night Jī Yǔníng posted a photo on her moments on WeChat: A photo of her holding somebody else's hand that was larger compared to her own. From the outsider's perspective, it looked like that she was holding the hand of the other man. That hand was very beautiful, and they were both wearing matching rings. In the memory flashes,Fèng Ruì Hán took a look at the photo Jī Yǔníng had posted and realized that Jī Yǔníng was holding Hóu Mínghuàn's hand. In his study he had that Hóu Mínghuàn's pictures plastered on the wall, with a map marking everywhere he went and everyone he met;He could could recognize his hand his hand anywhere.
He had memorized everything about that guy and carved his very being into his mind.And the caption read, "Finally the moment I've been waiting for has come true. Now I can hold his hand until the end of my life."
That night, Jī Mùrán, his childhood best friend and Jī Yǔníng's older brother, contacted him ,and they met at the dreamscape club. He told him, "The engagement between you and my sister has been broken. She is in love with someone else. You should let go now; there are so many people in the world. If you look, maybe you'll find someone else who loves you dearly."
"someone who loves you a lot might be closer than you think if only you would look towards him." Jī Mùrán muttered in a whisper to himself.
Fèng Ruì Hán didn't reply and just kept on drinking. By midnight he was drunk beyond measure and passed out. Afterwards Jī Mùrán took him home brought to his room helped him by taking of shoes, his suit jacket and unbuckled his belt tucked him in and turned to leave before leaving he turned to face Fèng Ruì Hán looking at his Serene calm face slightly marked with dried tears due to him crying after getting drunk while gazing at him he said "You're so heartbroken to know that she's engaged with someone else, but why didn't you see how heartbroken I was when saw you two together knowing that you are engaged ,Ah Ruì why not look towards me I've loved you for a long time as well." After saying that he blinked a few stray tears falling from the corner of his eyes he turned away while wiping them and left.The next morning,when Fèng Ruì Hán woke up he went crazy. He actually planned to kidnap Jī Yǔníng and take her to his private Island and keep her there in a world of just the two of them.
but after the kidnapping, before he could set out to the island, Hóu Mínghuàn found them. During their confrontation, Fèng Ruì Hán ended up dying. After which Hóu Mínghuàn took Jī Yǔníng away at the end of the of the memory flashes, He saw that a month later, Jī Yǔníng and Hóu Mínghuàn, who had taken back the property that belonged to him, had their wedding.
Everyone was happy no one remembered him ,and while they were having their wedding his corpse was still rotting in the port harbor's abandoned warehouse.Half eaten by rats and dog and rest of it decomposing as maggots ate him.
after the flashes ended, Fèng Ruì Hán realized that this exactly like the plot of the novel The Rising Phoenix which he read last night before going to sleep. He cursed the author clearly saying "You just took away the guy's braincells and common sense to make a him an unreasonable cannon– fodder villain to highlight the love of the protagonists . If I was in the villain's place, I would never make those crazy decisions which the villain did."
But those flashes they felt too real, like that actually happened to him. But after the flashes, with this unfamiliar room and this diary, it all made sense: he had transmigrated into the villain of the novel The rRsing Phoenix.
Oh god, he didn't wants to die a miserable death like the villain. Okay, I need to figure out a way to go back, but just in case I can't go back, I must take cautionary measures .
first of all, he's going to break of this engagement because he wasn't the original. He doesn't like that girl and he liked men. Second of all, he was going to bring the male lead back home. Third of all, he is going to raise him and hand over his adopted father's property because he doesn't need it. If he wanted, he can make his own empire again; he already made it once in his own world.he can do it again if he wanted to. Fourth of all ,if he still hasn't found a way to return to his own world, then he would disappear from the protagonists lives and not interact with them further. Maybe go to a sea side villa for retirement, flirt with handsome guys, maybe find one that is willing to spend the rest of his remaining life with him, and die peacefully Maybe then he'll return to his own world, or maybe he'll just remain dead.
