Chapter 660 - Chapter 659: Another Thea

Hearing it wasn't about her being Malcolm's illegitimate daughter, Thea breathed a silent sigh of relief. As long as it wasn't that issue, any trouble she could handle with confidence and capability.

But Robert Queen's next words still puzzled her. What did he mean? Someone who looked exactly like her killed this spacetime's Thea?

"Was it Steppenwolf's people?" Her first thought was magic. Her image had surely reached Apokolips. They could use a spell to take her appearance and kill people, right? That was Thea's only answer.

Robert Queen stared intently at Thea, not missing a single subtle change in her expression. He shook his head firmly. "It was a year before Steppenwolf came to Earth. That woman looked exactly like you!"

The companions on Thea's side exchanged glances. Barry seemed to understand. "Should be someone from a parallel spacetime, right? Now that there are two parallel spacetimes, one more is quite normal."

This answer could be deduced by anyone with normal intelligence—it's why Robert Queen hadn't attacked yet.

He nodded. "I'll accept what you're saying—there's a third parallel spacetime. But could that spacetime's Thea be as beautiful as you? That Thea could fly, emit some kind of energy shockwave, wielded a longsword, and even had the exact same hairstyle you have now."

Oh! Robert Queen spoke with such certainty, presenting so much evidence, that Barry and Cisco hesitated. Creating such breathtaking beauty was indeed quite difficult. With Thea's current looks, if placed in ancient times and standing in the middle without magic, people would be fighting over her.

Even Caitlin had doubts. Thea's hidden forces were substantial—she was part of them. Could it have been Thea who killed the person?

She began secretly gathering energy, ready to freeze Barry's legs first if things went south...

Thea herself found it incredible, but she insisted it was some illusion deceiving these ordinary people.

She flicked her finger, creating a life-sized human figure beside her. To enhance recognition, she even had the illusion wear a puffy coat and holy sword.

"Is this the image?"

Robert shook his head—no.

She conjured another image wearing robes and holding a whip. If Apokolips used her image to do bad things, this appearance had the highest probability.

"Then is it like this?"

Robert Queen continued shaking his head—no.

This time, everyone noticed the problem. What did the person you mentioned look like? Barry voiced everyone's confusion.

Robert Queen's expression turned grim as he began describing: "Her appearance was identical to yours—same golden hair. Your eye colors are different; that woman had amber eyes. But her aura was very cold, looking at us without emotion, like we were ants."

He glanced at the holy sword image Thea had conjured earlier, showing some disgust. "The armor was similar to this, but hers was black. The longsword in her hand was pitch-black, as if it could absorb light, with blood-red inscriptions on the blade."

"I personally watched her thrust that longsword into Thea's chest, and then the blade emitted thick red light. Afterward, her armor seemed to absorb Thea's blood, and numerous crimson patterns appeared on it... Then that woman looked at me coldly and left."

The room fell silent. Everyone was somewhat puzzled, including Barry and Cisco who'd known Thea for years. She'd always been like a fog—no one could clearly explain her specific abilities. How she obtained her power? No one knew. Could she have gained strength by slaughtering her parallel selves?

"This is infuriating! Pure nonsense! There can't be anyone like me!" Seeing everyone's doubtful eyes, Thea naturally noticed.

"This person should be a corrupted Thea. She's not me, and I'm not her!"

Thea couldn't be bothered explaining the uniqueness of the Goddess of Wealth and Commerce. There might be a few Thea Queens, but there was one and only one Goddess of Wealth and Commerce!

"Since we're talking about this, let me be clear—this Earth won't be ignored. Steppenwolf and I are both members of the New Gods. He represents the evil side, while I'm on the side of justice. My legion can deploy to this universe at any time."

"There's only one Steppenwolf, and there's only one of me."

Shocked by her decisive words, everyone's expressions improved considerably—though this might be because they'd heard about reinforcements.

Thea's thoughts went deeper. She hadn't expected that coming to find Barry would yield such news—in the multiverse, there was a corrupted Thea Queen.

From Robert Queen's description, the opponent's weapon sounded like a holy sword! The possibility of being a New God was completely nil. All New Gods across the universe were on New Genesis or Apokolips. Every new New God birth meant immediate recruitment.

But in this multiverse, the path to power wasn't limited to New Gods. Never mind others—once Zeus returned to his true form, he could completely overpower these New Gods except Highfather and Darkseid. Even beings like Trigon could directly confront them.

It was hard to estimate what methods this corrupted Thea possessed.

Thea could only confirm one thing: the opponent lacked prophetic advantage. Out of fifty-two parallel universes, there couldn't possibly be fifty-two transmigrators, right? Only one transmigrator had merged with me! The other party must have reached this point with zero knowledge of the world.

Impressive. Figures—corruption makes people stronger. While she'd struggled so hard to reach her current position, the opponent had probably worked a hundred times harder.

To strengthen everyone's perception, Thea drew Excalibur. Everyone was bathed in the sword's rich, warm aura.

"See? This is my sword. I don't know if this world has the King Arthur legend, but this is the legendary sword from the Lady of the Lake."

Indeed, this world wasn't much different from their original spacetime—it had Christmas and King Arthur. Such positive energy couldn't be faked. Robert Queen's guard finally lowered.

Thea also asked about this spacetime's Robert Queen's family situation. After hearing the account, she felt somewhat melancholy.

This world's Oliver had shown no talent and died directly in the shipwreck. Robert Queen went through untold hardships, learned formidable skills, and returned to Star City to exact revenge.

First on his list was Malcolm. The two friends engaged in a death match. At the final stage, Moira blocked Malcolm's arrow. Malcolm, slightly outmaneuvered, was shot dead by Robert.

Lying in her husband's arms, Moira atoned for her past sins and closed her eyes with a smile.

This world's Thea had no transmigrator's help—she remained version 1.0, with countless bad habits: truancy, alcoholism, too many to count.

Robert Queen painstakingly raised his daughter, managing the company by day and fighting crime by night. It took two years to reform Thea's bad habits. Unfortunately, she was stabbed to death by the corrupted Thea from another world.
