Moira's physical condition was quite good now. In pure strength, those bodyguards couldn't match her. However, she didn't know how to apply it. Occasionally doing aerobics for three days then slacking off for two was her version of exercise.
Thea taught her a few moves but quickly realized her mother had zero combat awareness. Even if she could run faster than bullets, she'd never think to subdue a gunman.
Outrunning bullets was, of course, unrealistic. The genetic optimization serum wasn't that powerful. But her physical qualities were real. Without awareness, she still possessed heightened dynamic vision and reflexive muscle responses.
Considering that becoming president was still two years away, and those years were relatively safe, Thea didn't make too many arrangements.
She only created two magic gems. One was defensive magic that could block direct attacks from grenades and rockets. The other was teleportation magic. Setting the coordinate point required some thought.
If Moira were attacked, neither the Queen mansion nor her mayor's office would necessarily be safe. Thea could only set the coordinates to her own laboratory in Metropolis. This place was completely controlled by Gideon. Without several hundred people with modern weapons, it couldn't be breached.
The teleportation gem reminded her that her side still had many ordinary people. Even Oliver, with the best skills—relying on excellent combat talent and physical qualities, able to dodge when opponents raised guns—would still be overwhelmed if faced with sustained submachine-gun fire. The rest of the team had even less chance.
After saying goodbye to Moira, Thea circled around and returned to the Arrow headquarters. She explained her thinking to everyone.
According to their individual preferences, she made each person a teleportation gem. Even Roy Harper received one.
The young man was a bit bewildered by such a fantastical item suddenly appearing in the real world, but he accepted it anyway.
"I'll give you two..." Thea looked at Felicity. This former hacker lady with no physical prowess whatsoever loved rushing into dangerous places.
The team dynamics here were different than they could have been. Oliver, Tommy, Laurel, and Shado had family, friendship, and romance all tangled together. Outsiders found it dizzying just watching. No one wanted to wade into that mess.
In this timeline, Felicity and Oliver's relationship could only be described as ordinary. Although she'd stayed in Star City rather than going to Metropolis to care for her mother nearby, the few times she'd helped were out of respect for Laurel—her "sister." She remained with the Arrow team more as a team member's family helping out.
Given her tendency to take reckless risks, Thea had also given her genetic optimization serum. But she and Moira were the same type—not suited for combat. Giving her a New God physique would be useless.
After making several gems on the spot and teaching them usage methods, Thea instructed them to study the universal language properly before leaving Star City.
With teleportation gems for friends and family, naturally Diana wouldn't be forgotten. Although Thea didn't think anyone could beat Diana to the point of helplessness now, what should be prepared still needed preparing.
Diana's thoughts matched her expectations. If even she needed to flee, what hope would Earth have? Still, modest and courteous as always, she accepted the teleportation gem.

As Thea's actions intensified, more and more people beyond just Metropolis became aware that aliens truly existed. Modern society had few fools. Especially after seeing the official response wasn't denial but tacit acceptance, many citizens felt urgency.
Thea's compiled study materials finally caused a sensation. Large numbers of citizens, following herd mentality, began frantically buying them.
However, she soon discovered pessimistic voices appearing on small forums and social media sites.
Aliens are invincible! Earthlings are weaklings! Various opinions proliferated. The reaction had swung too far the other way. Watching the faith on the Scales of Order shrink by a small section, Thea felt even more keenly how hard public sentiment was to grasp.
What to do? Increase publicity!
Telling ordinary people about Guardians or New Gods was nonsense. Plus Thea couldn't personally step forward to speak. She couldn't explain to ordinary people how she knew this information.
So having an alien speak became necessary. Princess Starfire, whom she'd encountered earlier, was a perfect candidate. First, she was a righteous character who wouldn't do anything extreme even if harshly criticized.
Second, appearance! Ignoring her green eyes, she was absolutely a great beauty. Actually, once you got used to them, green eyes weren't unacceptable.
When Thea initially went to take over the Yellow Lantern Corps, she only remembered entrusting Superman to arrange Starfire's accommodations. She'd have to ask Superman for the specific location. She activated super vision and found Superman at a fire scene.
"Princess Starfire, huh..." Facing Thea's question, Superman scratched his head.
"What? Did something happen to her?"
"No, no. But I asked the Martian Manhunter to look after her..." Superman's words were vague.
Thea was momentarily baffled. Under her persistent questioning, Superman couldn't explain properly.
She went to find the Martian Manhunter next and learned that Lois at Superman's home had gotten jealous. To avoid family conflict, Superman could only pass the beautiful Princess Starfire to the Martian Manhunter.
After getting the address, Thea arrived at Starfire's apartment. Just as she was about to knock, the door opened from inside. The tall, handsome Nightwing Dick Grayson was holding hands with Princess Starfire, preparing to go out.
"What a coincidence, what a coincidence..." Having known each other for so many years, pretending not to know each other was impossible. Dick Grayson could only awkwardly greet Thea.
He was clearly doing far too well for himself. Broken up with Barbara yet still maintaining some ambiguity, and here he'd already connected with Starfire after she'd barely been on Earth any time. Thea could only shake her head in amazement.
Originally worried that she and Starfire weren't close, now with Nightwing connecting them, conversation would be easier.
Thea caught Nightwing before he could slip away. Blüdhaven could wait. He needed to finish her business first.
After briefly introducing her intentions, Thea began explaining her purpose. "Princess Starfire, would you be willing to do a TV program introducing alien matters to Earthlings? Just from your own perspective—don't scare citizens, but don't cultivate arrogant attitudes either."
A TV program? Starfire and Nightwing exchanged glances. "What would I talk about? I can't discuss Tamaran, can I?"
"You can. You can say whatever you want. You know Earth's research capabilities aren't weak. We can bring many alien technology products to Earth. At that time, you'd help promote them."
"However, when the program first airs, there will probably be some negative comments. You need to be psychologically prepared."
