"W-Woah...I sense a Monster, i-it's unlike anything I've ever sensed before, th-this is overwhelming," Stuttered the Detector shakily, stepping back.
Her face was pale, and she was visibly afraid and shaken. We were making our way through the tunnel leading to the Boss Room, maybe about halfway through the steep, winding path.
"Hm...if it's too much to handle, you can hang back," I suggested, after a brief pause.
With the confirmation of the Dungeon Boss, there's no longer any need for detection, so we don't really need her to stick with us. It's tough to word that in a way that doesn't sound insulting though, so I didn't say it.
"N-No, it's okay. I'll just bolt if things go sideways," She replied with a shake of her head.
"Alright, if you're sure."
"I'd like to hang back, if that's an open offer," Chimed in Rex.
