Celestial Elder Soleil smiled and thanked the Immortal Twin Demon for his praise. He then gestured toward the Mortals, prompting one to stand and remove their cloak, revealing themselves as a Mortal Slayer.
"Next, we have the Mortal Slayer. As you can see, the main differences are in the colouration. This distinction also appears in both the Basic Battle Form and the Ultimate Form."
The Mortal Slayer shifted and transformed as the Celestial Elder spoke, allowing the Children to see his appearance. He soon returned to his regular form and sat down.
"As before, you may write down any questions you have for the Mortal Slayer and hand them in. The Mortal Slayer will answer your questions before we move on to the Mortal Twin Demon," the Celestial Elder instructed, and the Children complied.
After the questions were collected and sorted, the Mortal Slayer quickly reviewed them before responding.
"Children, your questions are quite imaginative. My halo does not get in the way when I bathe or sleep. We can dismiss them, which we usually do while bathing or grooming. Sometimes I fly around using my wings; it feels very liberating and helps clear my mind. We can summon parts of ourselves, like wings and tails, even in our regular form."
"I am the shortest among us, standing at fourteen feet tall. I am twenty-seven years old. My favourite weapon is a warhammer. My favourite spell is Quake, which I can use on land, in the air, underwater, and even in space. It's always amusing to watch my enemies try to steady themselves and fail."
"What I like most about my Mate is his chest. It's large and warm, and I can clearly hear his heartbeat when I lean against it." At that, the other Mortal reached out and embraced the Mortal Slayer tightly, letting them lean partially against him before allowing the Slayer to sit back down.
The other Slayers nodded in agreement. "Twin Demons give the best hugs, simply because they have four arms in their merged state," explained the Immortal Slayer.
Celestial Elder Soleil nodded and gestured toward the Mortal Twin Demon, who stood and removed his cloak.
"I don't need to explain anything further, so I'll let the Twin Demon demonstrate everything before we move on to the next set of questions."
The Mortal Twin Demon turned, shifted into both Battle Forms and back again, and then settled down.
The Children had already begun handing their questions to the servants before he was fully seated.
Once sorted, he responded, reviewing the questions he received. "As with all Twin Demons, I am two feet taller than my Mate. Like Slayers, we can dismiss our horns and fire orbs for grooming, bathing, and sleeping. I personally enjoy embracing my Mate's soft, supple waist. As for my favourite weapon, I prefer dual battleaxes. When I'm not cuddling with my Mate, my favourite pastime is crafting jewellery for him."
"Our crystals blink because, unlike other Classes, Slayers and Twin Demons compress their cultivation bases to the absolute limit before breaking through. This allows us to maintain larger Mana reserves than others. Thus, our crystals often blink for longer durations as the breakthrough threshold is reached."
Celestial Elder Soleil gestured to the Celestials, prompting one to stand and reveal themselves as a Slayer.
"Just like before, I won't explain anything," the Celestial Elder announced.
The Celestial Slayer turned, demonstrating their ability to morph into both Battle Forms, and then sat down. The Elders sorted the submitted questions, and the Celestial Slayer reviewed them before answering:
"My favourite weapon is a towershield. Most Celestials in combat Classes are more defence-oriented."
"One of my favourite hobbies is cooking for my Mate and enjoying meals with him. I am sixteen feet tall and twenty-nine years old. Each person's hairstyle develops uniquely during their Awakening and cannot be changed afterwards."
"I have absolutely no issue with my Mate being two people merged into one; in fact, it makes me feel even more loved, knowing two individuals cherish me so much." Upon saying this, the Slayer was pulled into a tight embrace by their Mate, while the other Slayers and Twin Demons nodded in agreement.
The Celestial Elder coughed and gestured toward the Celestial Twin Demon, who proceeded to mimic the movements of his Mate.
After sorting the questions, the Twin Demon began answering, reading aloud: "Everyone has a single Mammy, even Twin Demons. We rarely separate, so having one Mammy is sufficient for us."
"When we reach maturity and move to our Clan Origin Field, Tian Dao assigns us additional servants. These include both Clan-made puppet servants and Tian Dao-created servants: one Butler, four Stewards, and ten Head Maids. In addition, we receive one hundred Clan-made puppet servants who work under the Tian Dao-created staff."
"We receive so many servants because our assigned homestead is ten acres. The construction begins six months before we mature. During that period, our Mammys consult with us about the design and pass on our preferences to the Butler."
"My Mate and I are the same age, with at most a one-month age difference. When we meet our Mate for the first time at age ten, we hold an Engagement Ceremony."
"This ceremony lets us form a minor Soul Bond before the official Bonding Ceremony. The minor Soul Bond allows the weaker Mate's Stats and cultivation to be permanently elevated to match the stronger Mate, with no adverse effects, such as an unstable foundation."
"The Awakening process can be mildly painful, like muscle aches and spasms, but this discomfort generally lasts about two hours, followed by a four-hour enlightenment period, and then it is over."
The Celestial Elder gestured to the Infernals as he spoke, and one Infernal stepped forward, removing their cloak to reveal the Infernal Slayer.
"Now, as you can see, there are significant differences between the Infernal Slayer and his counterparts in other Clans. Firstly, their halo is thorny, unlike the smooth halos of other Clans, though the colouration matches their Clan."
"About their hairstyles—unlike other Clans, where even members of the same Class have different hair, all Infernal Slayers share the same style. The front third of their hair reaches just below the shoulder blades, with a feathery fringe just below the eyebrows. The hair's colour is a blend of Clan and accessory colours. The remaining two-thirds are styled spikily, about five inches long, and reflect the Class colour."
"Their eyes are another point: all Infernal Slayers have fox-shaped eyes outlined in permanent black eyeliner that flicks up at the outer corners. The other Clans' Slayers have different eye shapes and do not wear eyeliner. As with all Infernals, their irises are solid and match the Class colour, with vertical slit pupils."
"Lastly, Infernal Slayers have sharper, more aggressive body structures and musculature than their counterparts." At the Celestial Elder's cue, the Infernal Slayer morphed into his Basic Battle Form.
"As you can see, the Infernal Slayer's Basic Battle Form is notably different from others. First, barely visible through their hair, are horns reminiscent of hail horns. Their skin becomes scaly to reflect Class colour, while their Runic tattoos also shift to match their accessory colour. Their frame and musculature look even more aggressive."
"Now, let's talk about the wings. While Slayers from other Clans have soft, feathery wings, Infernal Slayers sport double-layer wings. The outer layer consists of sharp, crystalline 'feathers' that still allow for flight and can be used in a unique omnidirectional attack called Feather Storm. This powerful move unleashes the 'feathers' at high speeds, causing massive damage."
"Once this attack concludes, the inner, membrane-like wings become visible. These are also scaled and have five-inch talons on each joint, normally hidden beneath the outer layer, which are used as weapons in flight."
"Continuing, three tail-like appendages extend beneath the last crystal, joined by a membrane and acting as a flight rudder. When pressed together, they can deliver whip-like attacks."
"Finally, their feet change to claw-like structures with three forward-facing and two backwards-facing toes, each with a five-inch talon. These talons are used for gripping, piercing, and slashing. Slayers commonly use them to hang upside down or to swoop and snatch enemies from the ground." At the Elder's signal, the Infernal Slayer shifted into his Ultimate Form.
"Now, observe the Infernal Slayer's Ultimate Form, which is even more fierce and impressive. The hail horns are now clearly visible, elongated, and covered in barbs to guard against weapons. His physique and scales have also increased, the latter now resembling dragon-scale armour."
"His wings multiply from one pair to nine, all maintaining the same abilities. His fangs grow an extra two inches, and his talons double in length."
After finishing the demonstration, the Infernal Slayer returned to his regular form and resumed his seat.
The Elders organised the incoming questions, and the Slayer perused them before responding: "Slayers can freely change their size, from a minimum of one inch up to their original height. We often use this for missions, sneaking into tight places undetected. Outside missions, we typically shrink to about twenty inches, except when resting, bathing, grooming, or training."
"This size-shifting allows our Mates to carry us—either cradled in their arms or nestled among their hair and horns. This practice serves multiple purposes, one of which is to ease our Mates' possessive tendencies. You might have heard, 'I want to carry you around in my pocket'. For Twin Demons and Slayers, this is common—almost expected—behaviour."
"The second reason for our shrunken size is that most Slayers are constantly monitoring energies and reviewing Tian Dao's analyses, even when not on missions. This can make us look as if we're napping, when really, we're multitasking. Being carried by our Mates makes this easier."
At this, everyone on the platform nodded in agreement.
"Honestly, it looks adorable to see a Twin Demon carry a tiny Slayer in their arms, treating them like the most precious treasure in existence, no matter their age!" exclaimed Mortal Elder Kyle, swooning in his seat.
His remark was met with enthusiastic nods and murmurs from the other Elders and their Mates.
"Glad we entertain you lot with this." The Infernal Slayer and Twin Demon grumbled together, causing delight among the group.
"Hmph! Now then, everyone has different food and drink preferences, but Infernals tend to include toxic ingredients more regularly—though usually in moderation."
"Heh! What do Infernals know about moderation with toxins?" Snapped Mortal Elder Kyle.
"More than Mortals know about moderation in haggling!" Shot back the Infernal Twin Demon.
"All right, both of you—let's calm down. We can agree that Infernals sometimes overdo it on toxin consumption—but not enough to cause permanent harm," Celestial Elder Soleil interrupted.
Both the Infernal Twin Demon and Mortal Elder snorted and settled down.
"Children, let me clarify. Most of us are immune to toxins, but Infernals tend to consume them regularly. In small amounts, these toxins can be beneficial. In excess, though, they can induce aphrodisiac-like effects for Infernals, which might cause complications."
"Mortal Elder Kyle has dealt with Infernal Nursery Class staff who overindulged in ToxiCubes and entered either a true or pseudo Estrus or Rut. Other Classes also routinely consume ToxiCubes, especially those in poison-related fields. The NutriCubes packaging clearly identifies each type."
