At The Academy Library,
If you put a tiger, a lion, a panther, a venomous snake, and a very tired human in a small cage, you generally don't get a "team." You get a bloodbath.
This was the thought running through my head as I sat at the mahogany table of Strategy Room 1, watching the Moon Faction attempt to have its first meeting.
"Absolutely not," Amaryllis declared, slamming her hand down on the table.
"It is the most effective formation," Prince Stefan countered, his violet eyes flashing with irritation. He was standing at the blackboard, chalk in hand, pointing to a diagram that looked less like a battle plan and more like a geometry exam.
"It is a suicide formation for the vanguard!" Amaryllis argued, crossing her arms. "You want to put the heavy infantry on the flanks? Who protects the center? You?"
"I am perfectly capable of holding the center," Stefan said icily. "Unlike some, my defense is impenetrable."
