The first goat-headed blood ghoul took a step, and then the other bloodied monsters followed, charging toward the five hollow dominants.
Seeing the monsters approaching like zombies, one of the dominants let out a yell, raised its axe, and brought it down to point toward the oncoming horde. Instantly, massive bolts of lightning descended, striking two of the ghouls and shattering them in a violent eruption of blood. The remaining monsters sidestepped just in time, dodging the bolts as they continued to fall.
Soon, the bloodied monsters and the dominants engaged in a violent melee. One dominant raised her spear, piercing a ghoul's chest and tearing through the thick, coagulated mass with a sickening squelch.
