"YOU B*TCH, you and your children are draining all my money!" The man shouted angrily while lying on the bed, lazing like a pig.
"WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?! YOU AND I BOTH KNOW WHO'S THE ONE SUCKING ALL YOUR MONEY, and that's definitely not my children or me. IT'S YOUR FUCKING WH*RE OF A SECOND WIFE and her ugly ass daughters!" Replied the woman who was standing right beside the bed, fuming, becoming even more furious than the man had been. She was visibly frustrated with the man who was shamelessly accusing her and her children of something they hadn't done.
"Don't you dare bring them up in this, or else...." The man's voice trailed off with a stern warning.
"Or else what?" The lady was definitely provoking the man to dare finish the sentence if he had the audacity.
And the man, unafraid, certainly didn't hold back while replying, "I'm going to kick you out of my house."
Hearing those words from her husband's mouth, the lady lost it and, unable to handle the situation anymore, she called her eldest son, who was resting not so peacefully in the other bedroom.
"DEVEN, come here and see what your father is saying."

At the same time, in the other bedroom, Deven was lying on his bed, clutching both his ears with pillows, for he didn't want to hear the drama unfolding between his parents. Unfortunately for him, luck wasn't on his side because his mother was calling his name from the other bedroom, urging him to join the family feud.
Surprisingly, this wasn't the first time he was facing such a predicament. Deven has to face this shit almost every other day.
"F*ck! What the hell have I ever done to deserve this?" Deven muttered to himself because of the frustration his parents were causing him.
Normally, parents were not supposed to involve their children in their fights or drag their children into the adults' responsibilities, but it wasn't the case for Deven because his parents didn't know shit about parenting.
Casting aside his frustration, he got out of bed and went to his parents' bedroom. There, he saw his father's usual dark and ugly expression when a fight occurs, and his mother looked like she could blast at any moment, but was barely waiting for his arrival.
The moment his mother saw him, she immediately started complaining.
"Your father says that he'll divorce me and kick me out of this house. Is this how a grown man should behave? I just told him to take responsibility for our basic needs, and he tells me that we are draining his money! With what mouth is he saying that? He doesn't even cover half of our basic needs, and he has the gall to say we are draining his money! How shameless! Talk to him. Knock some sense into that thick skull of his. I don't have any energy left to argue with your father anymore. Just ask him who will cover the expenses if not him?"
Hearing his mother's same complaint for the umpteenth time, Deven cursed in his mind, 'F*ck, not this shit again!'
***
After hours of quarreling with his father, which Deven knew was pointless, because he was sure nothing that he said went to his father's empty skull, not even a single word. Why is that? Because that's how things end up every time.
Deven finally returns to his room, lies on his bed, and tries to wander off to his fantasies to escape his reality, which he is sick and tired of, to calm himself and get some peace of mind.
'I wish I had supernatural abilities. Maybe a supercomputer-like brain, or time dilation, or something like a system, that would have been awesome. I could have earned a ton shit of money with those abilities and solve all the family problems and then finally live far away from this shitty ass family. uuummm... It would be so nice. Like hell that would ever happen... this is fu*king reality, and reality sucks. There's no way reality can let people like me be happy for even a minute. Why...why can't it let me be happy, even if it's just for a little while. Why can't it let me have what I want, just for once? Is that so hard to accept? Aaaaaaagh! Damn it, f*ck it, let's just sleep. Thinking about this will get me nothing but more frustration.'
Ending his thoughts there, Deven closed his tired eyes and wanted to fall asleep, but then he heard a certain voice that was coming from deep within him, {You do know that you can just kill the root of the problem and be done with it, right?}
Deven, who wasn't even surprised by this absurd suggestion made by the imaginary owner of this particular voice, replied in his head, 'You do know that if I do that, I'll end up in prison and my mum will die out of ten....wait, why the f*ck am I even explaining anything to you! I don't have the energy nor the time to entertain your absurd Ideas. So, please shut the fuck up and let me fall asleep, because my mind's exhausted right now.'
And that was it; the voice didn't bother Deven anymore, so he went peacefully to dreamland.
While he was sleeping, something unreal happened, which was going to blow his mind when he woke up.
That unreal event started with a certain chime sound that echoed within Deven's sleeping body...

The next day,
In the morning, Deven was still fast asleep, dreaming about a billionaire girl following him like a simp, and he was politely explaining to her that they were leagues apart and can't be together, but at that moment, his ex appears and gives him a hard slap.....
~Slap~
'Huh? What the hell! What the f*ck's happening?
Deven groggily opened his eyes to make sense of what was happening when he heard his mother's voice, "Deven, wake up, it's almost time for your work. Wake up, or you'll be late."
But he couldn't focus on what his mother was saying because his eyes were fixed on something that was floating before him, something that was not supposed to be real, something that made him question his own rationality.
"Am I hallucinating?"
