Clara didn't remember drifting off. One moment she was listening to Axiel breathe beside her, while the next, she was standing alone in the DA's parking lot, same place as she was earlier in the day. Her heart beat fast because she already knew she was in trouble, and she tried to walk fast towards the car, but the man from the shadows was there,following her. He had the same outline, slow deliberate steps, and a suffocating stare. Within seconds, he was infront of her, and when Clara tried to step back, her feet might as well have been glued to the ground. "Ethan!" she screamed,
