Chapter 3 - Chapter 3

The sun was rising and it's light reached through the small alley between two buildings. The air was still cold though, and Ling's breath condensed as he looked up to watch the sky.

He was sat on the ground leaning against the wall with one leg up, still sniffling, he didn't have the energy to get up. Everything hurt and standing seemed like a daunting task. He pulled out his phone and called Er.

"Can you pick me up? I'll be next to the bridge near your house." He barely heard a reply but hung up anyway and looked back at the sky.

He struggled, but stood and pulled his trousers up, noticing the bruises on his wrists and forearms. Then, grabbed his coat off the ground and kicked past the fur tench coat as he made his way to the bridge.

He felt disgusting, each step was painful and he could still feel the cum in him. He stopped walking and tried to breath slower but he could feel the tears welling up in his eyes. He hurried to the bridge and waited.

Er pulled up around ten minutes later, he was smiling and had two cans of beer in his car.

"You good? You sounded a little.... So I brought beer!" Ling looked at him with a blank face and got in.

"Thanks," he said quietly as he opened the can and chugged it, he hadn't realised how thirsty he actually was, "You can just drop me at my place."

Once they arrived at Ling's place, Er stayed with him, they didn't talk but just sat next to each other on the sofa. He looked over at Ling, who was just looking down.

Er leaned in towards Ling's face, a little too close, and just as he was about to place a hand on his shoulder, Ling jumped back and smacked Er's hand away, eyes wide, shaking.

"Get out. I don't need you here right now." He got up and walked away, shutting the bathroom door behind him, locking it.

He didn't know if Er had left but he wasn't really thinking about it, when he got into the shower and starting washing himself, no matter how much he scrubbed at his skin over and over, he felt disgusting, like he could still feel that man's hands on him, touching him. The water was hot but he still shivered, falling into the ground as the water ran over him. He brought his knees to his chest and stared at his arms, hands still shaking.

He didn't dare look down down but he knew that he needed to clean himself.

He didn't go to work for a few days but when he finally did go, San slapped him, again. Ling got down on his knees. This time, he just looked down, he didn't have the energy to look or talk back, arguing was the last thing he felt like doing.

"Why didn't you come into work? Did you know that we didn't even get that damned briefcase? How could you not even do you fucking job? Are you an idiot? Are you?" San spat at him and kicked him in the stomach, which pushed Ling to the floor. The violence didn't stop, San kicked him over and over untill he got bored and just left Ling on the ground. All the people in the office were staring at him but he quietly got up, left the office and sat back at his desk.

When it was time to go home San called him back into the office. Apparently Ling still had his job, and this time he needed to go and get the briefcase from a house. He needed to break in and steal it.

What a fucking joke.

Ling looked at San, he didn't even get a team this time? There was no reason at all to send him again, he actually failed just a week before, and now they wanted to send him again, alone.

He drove home that day, walking on the streets made him feel a little uncomfortable, and poured himself a generous portion of whiskey. The sofabed was folded up but he couldn't be bothered to open it so he lay down with his feet over the edge of the arm rest. He glanced at the TV and turned it on with his toe, it immediately turned onto the show he was watching the night before. He just stared mindlessly at the screen, binging while drinking. His head hurt and so did all the bruises on his body but he couldn't even be bothered to shower and change, he opened his phone and scrolled for a while.

The next day, he prepared for the job.

It was getting dark so he put on his super stealth gear, even putting it on he chuckled to himself over how ridiculous it was that he had to go alone. He wore a tight black turtle neck fleece and cargo trousers with four pockets, his belt was looped around his waist and also had gun latch (which was empty). His boots where big with a zip going up the side and had a steel cap by his toes. He felt really cool in the all black outfit but also a pit in his stomach from the impending mission.

He took the train to the address and looked at the mansion. It was really big, the front garden had hedges sculpted into people and horses and the flower beds had intricate designs of colours and lines even though it was winter. There was a tall bronze gate at the entrance and a white wall that stretched around the whole property. Ling quickly scaled the wall and jumped into the garden with a thud, immediately crawling into a bush.

He held his breath.

Once he thought it was safe he peared at the mansion, there was, conveniently, an open window on the ground floor that led into a small study.

Ling suddenly turned back behind the bush. He saw a person move in there. Of course there's someone in there, the window is open! He hurriedly ran across the garden, taking quick stops behind the hedges for cover as he approached the open window.

He waited just below the window for about five minutes, until he heard the person leave, before climbing inside the house. As he looked around the study he put his ear to the door to listen for footsteps. Once he confirmed no one was there, he quietly opened the door and bolted up the stairs in the hallway. The walls were covered in an antique looking floral print with a dark grey background and gold detailing. The carpet on the floor was a dark burgundy colour with a gold trim, Ling looked around, constantly glancing behind him, in fear of being seen and continued down the hall untill he reached a large double door.

It was really tall, reaching all the way up to the ceiling, made from a dark wood, with a design of people and flowers carved in, covering it. It was, really, quite a grand door and Ling stopped to have a look at it before trying to open get in. It did open quite easily but it was loud, its latch made a loud clack sound that echoed through the hall and it's hinges screamed as he pulled the door open just enough to get inside.

He saw the brief case sitting on the table. Finally! His heart relaxed and he sighed in relief, at least he didn't have to search the room, it was right in front of him, so much easier than he had expected it to be. All he needed to do now was grab it, and leave.

As he crept through the hallway, holding the briefcase he heard footsteps coming up the stairs.

"Shit..." He hissed as he dashed into a dark room.

Hiding behind a cupboard, he felt his heart race and it was like there were needles poking at his palms. His breathing became more and more panicked, he covered his mouth with his hand to stop the noise from coming out. He could feel the drops of sweat gathering on his palms and his grip on the briefcase started to slip.

Just then he heard the double doors open and shut. The relief was overwhelming and he got up, his legs felt a little wobbly but it didn't stop him from continuing his mad dash for the exit.

When he finally got back to the study, the window was shut. He tugged at it but it wouldnt budge. Great, now what? He took a step back to think.

Suddenly, he fell to the ground, he tried to get up but only then did he feel a sharp pain in his head, it spread through his whole body and his vision went blurry. He tried to push himself up but he a blunt force hit his side and he spluttered out in pain falling back to the ground. He touched the back of his head, it felt cold and wet.

He turned back and looked up.

Yi was standing over him, wearing a striped wasitcoat in red over a clean white shirt, his polished brown leather shoes reflected the dim lighting of the room. He was holding a metal bat in his hands, smiling down at Ling, who was curled up on the ground. He grabbed Ling's hair and dragged him to a dark room and threw him onto the bed.

Ling struggled, he kicked Yi and tried to get to the door. It didn't open. The sight of the bed sent shivers down to his toes.

"Back so soon? You must've enjoyed last time then." Yi laughed as he walked towards the door, Ling sank to the floor and stared up at Yi, eyes wide, he couldn't move. His whole body stiffened, he was trying to focus but he could barely keep his eyes open or put any strength into his legs.
