"All Might's coming, this is going to be amazing!" She heard one reporter shout out with glee. Ugh, this was not the time. Sure, an interview with the 'Bunny-sensei' himself could tie together her latest project much faster, but she needed to be realistic here. If the man was around, it would be an entire battlefield just to get a good enough look at him.
She wanted to find a big scoop, but she was stuck with something much more important. According to Redestro, I-island had a very interesting device in hiding, one that could give their revolution of quirk freedom that little 'umph' it needed to be perfect. So she was stuck investigating the first sidekick of All Might, which in itself would actually be a decent scoop.
"Hold on, hold on, one at a time please!" The number one pro waved off as hordes of women came up to him and began kissing every inch of his face. Hm, was there a scoop here? Japan's number one being a womanizer…nah, people already assumed that with the top ten anyways. The rumors of Ryuko having her own hoard of men waiting for her at her 'nest' were occasionally funny to read though.
"Why did you come to I-island!?" Obviously because of the gear and his old sidekick.
"What are your goals for this month!?" To be a pro hero, get new material people.
"Is that the crazy kid from the sports festival with you!?" Of course it was people, be obi-her brain halted.
She slowly turned, peaking across the crowd to see the cowlick of her dreams trying to escape the flood of reporters, much easier since most were only focused on the big man himself. She could feel her heartbeat as her grin became maddening, her story came to her. "I guess everyone really likes Bunny-sensei, even in other countries." That nativity sent shivers down her back, so much to be learned!
"Hey kid, could you please answer a few questions for me again?" She approached and patted his head. From what she recalled from the investigations, he responded well to physical contact.
"Of course!" He answered right away with a smile. Oh yes, trained like a dog. Such a perfect little fountain she had access to.
"I've heard from the grapevine you've taken a lot of jobs over the years. Your response?" Give her something good.
"Grapevines can talk? Whenever I tried to cut them they never screamed at me." This kid was a few screw loose…please…please keep it up! The mental and emotional abuse on display was so intense! "But yeah, I've had a lot of jobs. My parents told me to make them money, and I did."
"But don't you think they should be making money, with their own jobs?"
"They don't have jobs, they said a son should support their family, right?" Oh yes, such twisted phrases. Glorious glorious glorious! "And I needed to make money for myself anyway, how else would I be able to afford water? I don't go down to a spring or river every day."
"Is there any job that you're not particularly fond of, any one's that you could say we're dangerous or unsuitable for a child to take on."
"Hm, most of my jobs are dangerous, not sure what would be the most. There was the time at the zoo where I cleaned the tiger cages. They have a really strong sense of smell, so I ran all over the place for a whole day. Then there was the time I was told to clean a jet engine and somebody turned the plane on while still in it…"
"And you still do these jobs despite risking your life, why?" She could hear her own breathing as she pushed the mic closer to him.
"Either my parents said please or someone else said please. You always help someone if they say please."
"So if someone said 'please jump off a bridge', would you do it?"
"There's no bridge around here, so I don't know how I'd be able to do that now." The boy turned his head around. "Oh, Bunny-sensei is free. I've gotta go, see you later, blue skin lady!" She had enough for now, just let him go … she had so much now.

Melissa hopped on her pogo stick, just a minute away from seeing Uncle Might again! They were gonna have so much fun, building-climbing, showing off designs, and the party! Today was gonna be great!
"Wow, this place looks so big and great!" She heard the voice of a boy shout in awe. First timer, she knew that tone well. "It's like a big version of the USJ, both of them!"
"Indeed, I-Island is a gathering of the world's top quirk researchers to develop some of the finest hero support items in the world." A voice she knew all too well by now answered the voice. "And since it's a private facility, people are allowed to use their quirks freely, within reason of course."
"Wow, using quirks freely, that sounds awesome." It was … when they had them. But focus on that later.
"Uncle Might!" She jumped into the air, landing on his back, laughing.
"Young Melissa, you've grown up so much! The girls at school must be jealous." He joked.
"What're you talking about? I'm the same height as last time!" She laughed with him as he swung her around like when she was a kid.
"What? Are you sure? I can barely pick you up now!" He tossed her in the air.
"Then she must be really heavy." Who was talking about a woman's weight like it was a casual thing? "I didn't know you had a niece Bunny-sensei … or a sibling for that matter." She looked down at a kid with a cowlick and an innocent smile.
"Bunny-sensei.." Her mind trailed on that for a solid minute, looking to the kid, and then to her uncle, who's hair stuck up…"B-bunny-sensei…" She snorted, unable to stop herself even when her uncle let her down. "Whe-when did that become a thing?"
"Around a year ago, I was hoping to keep it a thing only in Japan. I don't want the whole world knowing about it." Her uncle groaned before pointing to the kid. "Young Suzuki, this is Melessia Shield, she is the daughter of the friend I told you about on the plane. Melissa, this is Iruma Suzuki. He's one of my student's at UA."
"Nice to meet you Suzuki." She smiled, holding out her free hand.
"You too." He shook hers back. "I've never seen a pogo stick before other than commercials, that's gotta be some real fun." He eyed her invention.
"Yep, I made it myself. Some kinetic generators and we can go hopping all over the city no problem."
"Wow, I did the same thing when I was interning with Rabbit-Sama, but you can do that with just a pogo stick? That's amazing!" She would put the Rabbit-sama nickname in the vault for later.
"What kind of quirk do you have?" She looked over the boy's costume. Aside from the slight wolf asthetic, it seemed almost like a normal tracksuit.
"I can punch really hard and break my bones doing it." The boy said it like that was nothing. "I gotta drink a lot of milk and get kisses from Recovery-nurse when I do." So he had a quirk like All Might's? She could use her invention here! The Full Gauntlet!
"Suzuki, that's not how-no, he learned that much. Roll with it." She had never seen Uncle Might so 'done' before. "How about you show him around, i'll go talk with David."
"Of course!" It was nice to show a new face around, especially if he really was one of Uncle Might's students. "Come on, we can get a sneak peak at the expo before it gets too crowded." She grabbed his hand and led the way.

So this was how he died, eaten by sharks at the bottom of the ocean. "WHY CAN'T I SWIM!?" It made no sense, it worked last time. Suddenly they were back, Melissa holding up a helmet.
"It was just VR, it's a fake world." She giggled as she put the helmet back on it's stand. "Think of it as a video game where you can actually be in the game, except you don't get hurt."
"Oh, I guess that makes sense, though I've only started playing video games about a month ago." Kaminari always showed him some really fun ones. Like Sonic, Zelda, Street Fighters.
"How about this, it's the Allmobile, Uncle Might and Papa's car." Wow, it looked so cool too.
"Bunny-sensei rode in a car? I always just see him punch the air and he's off flying." He asked.
"Yeah, my dad was Uncle Might's first partner back when he lived in America. He built so much support equipment to help take out villains."
"Oh, that reminds me of Mei back in UA! She's constantly making babies and fixing my costumes whenever it breaks."
"I'm going to assume babies refers to gadgets." Well yeah, he got confused about it at first to. "Oh, check this out. It's a grappling hook that can change it direction mid shot using an air current." She clicked it, while it extended a few buttons sent it flying up, down, left, right.
"Amazing!" Iruma shouted. "I never knew all this tech was possible! Where I'm from, Cell Phones still amaze me." He was still amazed that his phone was also a camera.
"You haven't gone out alot, haven't you?" Melissa said with a raised eyebrow.
"No, I go out all the time. Before Bunny-sensei found me on the beach, I mainly filled my free time with all my jobs. A lot of them were in the woods or out of the country, so I didn't really have time to check on whatever's popular."
"Then this is gonna be a whole new world for you." She held him by the hand and showed him around. "We have artificial intelligence to make robots act like humans, rides that can move faster than sound, long distance charging, rides." She gestured around, displaying all these amazing products! "I even helped with some artificial food growths, we can slow down world hunger with this."
"You can make the world less hungry!?" He shouted, holding onto her shoulders. "You're really amazing!"
"Thank you, it means a lot to help people." She smiled at him in a way that just showed off fun and care in a way he hadn't seen in a while.
"Iruma!" He blinked, looking with Melissa over at a group of kids. Wait, were those his classmates? "Glad we could meet up here! I thought we were supposed to gather at the park-" Ochako froze, looking at the two of them. What, did he have something on his face?
"Who's your new friend?" Jiro asked with a bit of an eyeroll, pointing her jacks at him. Oh, they were probably worried he'd get lost again, stranger danger and all.
"Everyone, this is Melissa. She's Bunny-sensei's sort of Niece." He didn't quite get that, but if she viewed him as an uncle that had to be a case.
Ochako looked less weird, now just smiling. "So you're like cousins then?"
"Huh?" Iruma asked, not sure how they came to that conclusion.
"Come on, even you can't be so dense about it, you're his secret love child after all." Kaminari laughed with Momo trying to stifle a giggle.
Mellisa made a face of realization before she burst out laughing, holding her stomach. "First it was the anime Bunny-sensei … now he has a secret love child …" She was close to falling down. "Oh my god, I've only met you guys for an hour but I love you all the same."
"Better than you thinking we're crazy, that seems to be the general consensus back in UA." Momo smiled. All his friends are getting along so well now! Both old and new. He never knew training to be a hero would make him so happy.

"So your David Shield's daughter?" Todoroki asked, sucking on a soda. A rare treat given his household. "What's that like?" So far the only options were terrible abuse and horrible manipulation.
"Oh, it's great! Papa works a lot, but he's inspired me to be just like him when I grow up." A happy family? Somehow that seemed a bit unrealistic. "Almost every invention here has a bit of his influence surrounding it, and I hope to be just as helpful as him someday."
"I kinda feel like Iruma here." Kaminari admitted. "There's so much technology I feel like a hillbilly. It must be awesome to have robot butlers and stuff."
"Hey!" Yaoyorozu complained. "Normal butlers are far more loyal and effective than robot ones could ever dream of being." That was a weird complaint.
"Having butlers at all is already a bit of a pipe dream for me." Uraraka took a sip of her own drink. "Must've been nice flying in a private jet with Bunny-sensei, Iruma."
"Oh it was! It's the safest I've ever felt going on a plane before!"
"Oh, because Uncle Might was there?" Melissa asked
"Well that, and it was the first time I've been on a plane that wasn't on fire or going to crash land somewhere."
The girl stared at Iruma for what seemed like half a minute before turning to others. "Danger magnet with need of constant supervision?" She knew the drill so well.
"And a bell." Tsu added in, taking a bite out of her fish. "It's basically its own job by this point. It's partially why Toru is so possessive over him."
"Yeah, shame she could make it." Uraraka hid a smirk. Wow, that was beyond unsubtle.
"What do you mean? She's right next to you." Iruma pointed to the open space right next to Uraraka, and if they were going by previous examples, she would show up in three..two…one…
"Hey there O~cha~ko~." The girl in question shivered with the majority of the class. "It's funny how late that text came, must have been a bad signal or something, right?"
"Wow, you guys have your own Yandere too." The daughter of Shield laughed. "Next you'll tell me you all fought a super villain despite being in high school."
"Oh, can you read minds? That's what happened the first week!" Iruma said with a level of excitement that shouldn't have been there.
"You guys are the most fun I've had all year." That was one way to put it. "Villain attacks here happen every … half a year or so?"
"I can imagine, this place has more security than Tarturus back in Japan." Momo pitched in.
"Truly an esteemed institute of importance, the greatest minds here all gather to make the world brighter and better every second! It's a masterpiece of the ages that we must all respect!" Iida went on a tangent.
"I still want to know how you all got so much sand for a man made island." Iruma, it wasn't like tha-
"Shipped from Hawaii with a manipulator quirk." Well damn logic apparently.
"Man, you guys are lucky." Mineta, showing up in a waiter uniform, served out more drinks. "You all get early access while I have to work the whole day."
"You're the one that volunteered." Kaminari let out an eyeroll. "Surprised you weren't banned after what Bakugo did."
"Eh, it turns out the flight was leaving early because there was a villain on board, so they let him off with a warning."
"Wait, so Bakugo's he-" A loud boom in the distance answered his question. "Never mind."
"Should we … check that out?" Ashido asked. "Could be fun."
"You're telling me you have another crazy classmate that almost leveled a plane?" Shield asked. "Count me in!" Wow, and he thought Hatsumei was the crazy inventor of the world.
==
"Thirteen seconds! That places Bakugo Katsuki in first place!" FUCKING FINALLY! After months of switching from second to third in UA, he finally became first in a challenge! Not that it was much of a challenge, it was kind of a lesser version of that entrance exam, but he was first! No one so far was higher than him! No one!
"So he's in your class too?" The voice of some unknown extra was heard from the railing.
"Yeah, he's always telling people to die, but he's nice once you hang around him long enough." Dodger's voice answered, and sure enough, he as well as Uraraka and a few other extras in class were watching.
"Yo, Iruma, Ochako, everyone!" Shitty hair called out. "How've you guys been?"
"Oh, great!" Dodger answered. "We saw lots of cool tech, made a new friend, and ate lunch! What about you guys?"
"Oh, stopped an attempted terrorist attack on a plane and enjoying a few of the activities, so the normal stuff." Shitty hair answered casually.
"What the hell are you doing here, Dodger?! Why the fuck are you always following me around?!" Times like this made him forget this guy wasn't Deku.
"Bunny-sensei invited me!" Of course All Might was involved, the bastard's 'secret love child'. "And he let me meet his kinda niece, and according to everyone we're kinda cousins?" … That was a new one. "She's right … where did she go?"
"Hi there." He almost turned an explosion on the new extra from how fast she came behind him. "I'm Melissa Shield, nice to meet you. Bakago, right?"
"IT'S BAKUGO, YOU SHITTY EXTRA.." Suddenly he felt Shitty Hair pull him back. "Let me go, Shitty hair! I need to cremate this extra!"
"Wow, he's as crazy as you guys said he was. So cool!" … Bakugo suddenly felt what he assumed Dodger should be feeling on a daily basis.
"Yeah, he's like this to everyone, though he doesn't like Iruma for some reason because he reminds him of somebody." Damn it, Shitty Hair! Don't go spilling his personal shit like that! "Speaking of, are you guys going to do this villain course?"
"Don't you dare even try, Dodger! You'll never beat my score!"
"Well, I've never done anything like this before, so I'll only know for sure if I try!" Why couldn't he lose that stupid smile for one, ONE fucking day!?
"Oh, one sided rivalry! So juicy!" The new extra squealed.
"Stand right here, new contestant!" The woman shouted, playing her hands up in the air. "Get set … start!" Dodger ran off like an animal, using robots as a springboard when he destroyed one and went after another.
"Wow, so fast! And that form, just like a wolf!" New extra said in awe.
"That's my Iruma-kun! YOU CAN DO IT!" Huh, invisible girl was here too?
"And that's time….a new record! Twelve seconds! We have a new first place!"
"Wow, I did awesome!" He wanted to strangle the boy so much.
"Fuc-"
His next sentence was cut off. "Start!" Who the hell went this time? "Two seconds! New record!" What the? He turned to the massive glacier and the smirking icy hot.
He could feel himself boiling with rage. "FUCK THIS SHIT! I'M GOING AGAIN!" He wouldn't be third in anything, especially behind these two! "RESTART THE MA…" He felt something hit him in the back of his head.
"Huh, so this is what Kendo goes through everyday." Ponytail said, carrying a bo staff as he felt himself fall to the ground. DAMN IT!

"How are the helicopters?" The boss asked him.
"We have three. Two for low level entry, one for getaway at the rooftop." Hacker responded.
"Was kinda hoping for five, but we'll make it work. If you can make sure the pros are locked tight." The message was clear.
"If they're all in one spot like you said, the drones should do the rest."
"Perfect. Everythings falling into place." The boss grinned. "What about our 'inside' man? Is he still cooperating?"
"Yep, he's ready to get the plan moving, sounds just as eager as you." Actually making connections to someone in I-Island? Talk about a once in a lifetime opportunity. "But he still thinks he's getting a cut, and we've gotta make it believable enough for shield when he's around."
"He's lucky I'm a natural actor." He sent his boss a look. "What, I took drama in high school, but it didn't give me as much money as I expected. Why do you think I became a villain?" A pretty lame ass reason. "How about the strike team, the ones keeping guard on floors?" He asked.
"All set and ready. And misinformed." Dividing the money between three was better than twenty after all.
"Good, some of them are a bit too desperate for my liking." That fire guy was an idiot, arrested on arson charges after setting a bank on fire, AFTER he deposited millions of his own money in it. "And we're certain All Might will be there?"
"Absolutely, he's giving a toast at the party." Hacker explained. "You're not worried?"
"Not by a long shot. A chance at humiliating one of the strongest heroes in the world has always been at the top of my bucket list." To be fair that was everyone's bucket list. "And thanks to a certain benefactor, on the off chance this goes off without a hitch …" He laughed. "I might have it in me to take on All Might." Bold claim.
