"Okay, I didn't think anything could be more unbelievable then Mineta being the first to pass, but I was proven wrong. So, so, SOOOO very wrong." Ochako stared at the screen in disbelief and shock, still not quite sure if what she saw was real. "So anyone, please, tell me if anything I saw was just an illusion."
"Nope." Tsu actually looked surprised for once instead of answering in her usual neutral expression. "Iruma and Mina caught our principal completely unscathed."
"Acting like fucking animals too." Bakugo was just silent, but the fact he wasn't enraged spoke volumes.
"So the taping together thing was a genuine plan … one that he used to spin dash his way through a variety of questionable lethal traps." Yaoyorozu shuddered.
"That sounds like something my uncle did once." Sero just looked completely confused as the rest of them.
The boy everyone was talking about ran into the room with Ashido in tow. "We did it, we won!" He gave an innocent smile that didn't belong on a crazed destroyer.
"You…outsmarted probably the most intelligent creature on the planet." Todoroki plainly stated.
"Not really, I wasn't thinking at all!" Iruma corrected. "I just survived until I reached the tower. Like how Rabbit-Sama taught me!"
"It was kinda fun too." Ashido smiled. "I just relaxed and went with the flow, and it somehow worked! Just slide and blast like you said!" She patted the boy on the back.
"So you passed uninjured?" Tsu asked. "Nothing hit you?"
"Nope …." Iruma trailed off. "Although I feel a little sore from using too many spoonfuls … no wait, now I don't feel my hands anymore."
"Ah, you're just not used to using your quirk at a higher percentage, perfectly normal." Recovery Girl looked him over. "Just rest for the next few hours and you'll be good."
"Understood mam." He nodded … falling over. They all stared at the now snoring boy.
"That can't be natural." Kaminari spoke out loud.
"He's worked hard to get this far, let him be, he's earned this." Toru picked the boy up with a surprising amount of strength. "Don't worry Iruma-kun, I'll make sure you're nice and comfortable." Okay, wow, that was so obvious! How the hell did she miss that!?
"And I'll help." She placed her hand on the boy, removing his weight. "After all, we're friends right?" She glared at the invisible girl.
"I'll follow, I need to rub some lotion on, I burnt and dehydrated my skin just a bit too much." Mina followed, before turning around. "So you guys gonna go to your exam or …" Ashido asked.
"Right!" Kaminari's eyes shot out of his skull as he ran out of the room.
"We can do this, we can do this, if Iruma can face off against an unrestrained Nedzu, then a restrained Earasehead should be no problem, right?" Momo asked out loud, turning to everyone. "Right?" That last one was said with a squeaky voice.

"Your time begins now." With the signal Aizawa began moving from roof to roof, using his scarf to help gain momentum. First objective was to take out Kaminari, that start would prevent him from helping with a wide scale attack. Then put down Yaoyorozu fast and quick.
He left his blades off, not needing them due to avoiding anything lethal. Also they'd just act as a conductor in case he failed to capture Kamianri. "Come on, let's keep moving, and stay in the shadows as much as possible." He heard the boy talking to his partner, surprisingly taking the lead instead of the class president. "Aizawa can't use his quirk if he can't fully see you, right?"
"Right, we just need to cover up completely. But we can't do it too much or we'll limit our field of vision." He watched them for a second. Kaminari was creating a low buzz on his skin, just enough for hairs to stand on end, while Yaoyorozu was making … Russian nesting dolls? He didn't understand why that specifically, but it was obvious she was keeping track of her quirk. "The problem is I need my body exposed to make objects, so I might be able to make a tarp to dampen electricity."
"Good. Just don't make too much, your quirk's limited by body fat, so we need to preserve as much as possible." There were definitely points in Kaminari's favor for his increased awareness of the situation. That combined with Suzuki's and Ashido's test, and he could almost feel the sparks of what resembled pride in his students forming inside him. "I might also need something conductible to avoid-" And here was where he would step in. After all, they both were just talking about his quirk usage. Not another long term strategy. "He got me!" His eyes widened. "Run, go long!" He shouted to his partner.
"Right!" The girl threw one of the Russian nesting dolls in his direction, which he was prepared to catch…until it opened and a white light flashed before his eyes.
'I see it now, Kaminari kept his quirk active to act as an alarm for my presence while Yaoyoruzu prepared for my arrival by preparing to take out my eyesight.' They were planning for the long term. Looks like he needed to step it up.

Kaminari nearly collapsed, pushing the cabinet in front of the window. "I thought …" He took in another breath. "You were gonna … go on." He did ask her to run.
"That…I can't do that…my first mistake at UA was abandoning my partner.." Yaomomo breathed heavily. "I can't do this alone, I can't, I can't, I'm useless by myself!" He watched her fall to the floor. "I got in on recommendation, I was barely a help to Iruma at the Battle Trial, I didn't help anyone but my partner at the USJ while you all helped so much! I didn't get far in the Obstacle Course, I barely helped Todoroki in the Cavalry Battle, I lost in the first round almost instantly at the Sports Festival!"
Like a damn she kept going, tears pouring. "I was only given an internship for my body ! I wasn't able to help with Hosu, I couldn't think up a plan when our parents were taken, I'm just holding this entire class down!"
"You holding the class down? If anything, I'm the weakest link!" Kaminari yelled back. "I can't make my quirk usable unless I go stupid, which I already am all the time! I charged in brainlessly during the entrance exam, I just shot lighting everywhere and hoped for the best! I can't even aim my quirk naturally! I tried to improve but all I got after trying harder and harder was a C!" He was shouting now too.
"I don't even have Iruma's crazy survival skills. He does worse than me with class assignments, but he was already at the top of the class even before he started using his quirk! I didn't even do anything else to improve myself, because I'm too much of an idiot to think that far ahead! I was humiliated during the Sports Festival, because Hagakure beat me senseless, and all she does is be invisible!"
"You have nothing to be humiliated about!" She shouted. "You saved Mineta and Asui, you lost to a girl that would rip off her own arm to do damage to All Might!" That … was fair. "You put all this effort in and showed genuine improvement!" She put her hands on his shoulders, tears making a puddle between them.
"You're the smartest in the class, you have nothing to feel ashamed of! If it wasn't for the phone Todoroki never would have saved Iruma! Ashido also told me how you planned everything to get Iida past the warp villain! And, and you're the only reason why I got as far as I did during the written exams! I would've cheated like the idiot I am if you didn't give me that support!"
They were on their knees, holding each other's shoulders in silence, crying. They stayed that way for a minute before he felt the need to say something else. "You know what? Fuck Aizawa."
"Kaminari…I…well, I don't disagree with that entirely." Yaomomo wiped a few tears from his eyes.
"He acts all tough and scary, and we're really intimidated because we feel awful about ourselves." He argued. "Now what, we're gonna hide from a guy that blushes whenever Iruma calls him nice?"
"He tries acting like such a hardass when he's probably just a big softy.." Yaomomo started. "And really, trying to scare us to be better on the first day? That's just being a dick."
"Yeah!" He got up and started pacing. "And what, he can erase one quirk? We have two. Two awesome quirks, and he has to fight one of us without one."
"He doesn't even have metal on him, that would just conduct …" Yaomomo trailed off, looking to the kitchen and staring at something. "I … I might have an idea."
"Lead the way, Madam President."
"Please, just call me Momo."
"Lead the way, Yaomomo." That got a soft giggle out of the girl. Nice, now they are going to win!

Yaoyorozu looked idly at her nails, her free hand waving back and forth as her leg sfited on a black device. She just needed to wait for him … wait for him … "Your time's almost up you know." She heard the voice of their homeroom teacher. "Five minutes."
"Five minutes…that's more than enough time to take you on." She spoke with the most confidence she's had in a while."
"You say this, but here you are alone, and not a single weapon made." She returned his logic with a savage grin.
"I wouldn't say no weapon." She spun around and pressed, the device launching out a balloon at the hero, exploding on impact into gray dust. Aizawa looked over at himself, otherwise uninjured if a bit sparkly.
"Your plan was to blind me with dust?" The pro asked, confused, already assuming what the plan was. Now that was truly illogical.
"No, you're covered in Ferrofluid. A liquid with colloidal magnetic properties." She smirked as she saw the gears turn in his head.
"And correct me if I'm wrong…" Kaminari's voice was heard behind a wall, tossing up a rod. "But lightning and electricity is always trying to find the path of least resistance…at least, that's what Yaomomo helped me learn." He activated his quirk, the bolt of electricity bounding up to the rod and down to the teacher before he could try and move to the wall and negate the boy's quirk.
ZAP!
They could visibly hear the voltage within the teacher as he fell to the floor, smoking. "Quick, the cuffs!" Kaminari shouted, tossing her the pair.
"On it!" Momo ran and quickly secured Aizawa before he could have any chance at recovering. "He's captured!"
"Team Yaoyoruzo and Kaminari have passed!"
"WE DID IT!" The boy shouted. "You were amazing, Yaomomo!"
"No, you were incredible!" They held each other by the arms, jumping up and down like little school children. It was silly, but it was a delight she hasn't felt in a long, LONG time. "Without your quirk, we wouldn't have been able to pull this off!"
"No, it was your planning that actually made it usable!" Kaminari kept complimenting her. "I might actually have a way to control the direction of my quirk now! I can get support equipment that uses what you taught me. Yaomomo, thank you." He let go and gave her a quick but thoughtful hug. "You're one of the smartest and most caring people I know. You're going to be an amazing hero."

"Thank you." So this was what Hagakure felt. It was nice, she felt like Rin almost.
They walked on, not noticing the man they had cuffed hadn't moved once, unconscious.

"Is there some sort of inverse law in recent effect?" Jiro heard Sato asked. "That the scary teachers are weak and the normal teachers are scary?"
"Nope, you kids are just genuinely insane." Yep, that sounded about right. "Now if you don't mind me I probably need to attend to Aizawa, make sure those burns don't scar."
"Yikes, they really didn't hold back against Aizawa-sensei." Kirishima said from right beside Sato. "Man, I'm just feeling unmanly all over today. I actually thought Kaminari would join us in the corner."
"That would imply Momo would too, and she's pretty good." Jiro watched as the two came back in.
"Speak of the devil." Tsu deadpanned. "No offense Tokoyami."
"It's a phrase, say it how you will."
"I actually find it kinda funny."
"Not bad, Ja..Kaminari, not bad at all." She lightly nudged the boy in the arm, remembering she still had something to say. "Lis.."
"Not bad, he was amazing!" Momo shook Kaminari in an excited glee as she heard quite a bit from Hagakure. "So brave and confident, he really had my back out there!"
"What are you talking about, you were the confident one. You looked at your nails while talking down Aizawa . That's Kirishima's level of manliness!"
"Bro!" The boy had tears of joy. "You're both so manly! I wish I was as manly as you two were today!" Yeah, when you're worse than Mineta at anything, then you sorta lose your 'manly' credibility.
"I believe 'manly' best describes you, Ka-Denki." Momo…spoke…Kaminari's…first name.
"... Is our class really fast with love, or is it just me?" Tsu asked Tokoyami bluntly.
"As someone who got kissed on the beak by a little girl, I have no right to argue."
Jiro didn't respond to that with her normal snark add-on as she watched the moron and the class president stare at each other like a couple of idiots…something she wanted to ignore but couldn't.
