Chapter 90 - Truth

"What a pitiful creature, a demoness." Aefia spoke as she walked forward to Aritea with a blank expression and scary red eyes. "Luckily, Albert had confessed about the situation before leaving." She spoke as she stepped on her ankle to stop her from trying to flee. Her new heels forming a hollow at the area she had stepped on. The demoness screamed in pain.

"You know, you should know your place since unlike you, I never screamed out in such a very small pain inflicted on me. And to think you would go out of your way to try and act all innocent and concerned." Aefia said while applying more pressure on her ankle. "I feel bad for you, unfortunately I can't help but here a snap of your bone."

"What is your reason for doing that?!" Aritea shouted at Aefia as soon as she let go and while trying to stand up. "I was trying to seek out the best for you! I didn't know he would be actually telling the truth!"

"Lies, lies and more lies!" Aefia said while taking out her gun. "Tell you this, I have no other choice but to kill you, and watch your siblings cry at your funeral. Oh right, I forgot how demons don't deserve a funeral!" She shot, empty shots.

The demoness closed her eyes as she panicked and covered her face. No bullets went through, and she immediately stood up to try and run away from the problem she had caused. A few threads tied her in place as a few more twisted around her limbs, making her immobile.

"I hate dogs who bark like they own their owners, and then act like sheep's in front of them." She said as a few threads tied around the demoness's neck. "And I see you as one of those dogs. I had you promise to never cause problems as long as you were under my custody, and yet you broke it. I have no choice but to kill you off because the demon king had said that he never really wanted you in the first place."

While holding her in place, she turned around to face the others. The black top hat over her head was taken off and she removed the eye patch that was supposed to be there. "Now I know that I have a few things to tell you guys, and it had been irresponsible to not tell you about this before, but I had a demonic eye that I was covering up. That was caused due to the demonic energy I had absorbed during my first journey to Hellas." She spoke while putting the hat back on.

"I agree, I was actually very dumb of trying to do something like that, but I was also trying to destroy evidence of my being there and I was in a rush to get away since I was very weak back then." Aefia explained with a smile as she thugged the threads as the demoness tried to break free. Immediately, Aritea fell on the ground.

"But then, Puppet, who is my elemental animal and is also in the form of my system, had to consume all of those excess magic energy to save me during the third stage." Aefia spoke while her little wolf appeared in the air with a trail following it. "And that is also how I was summoned directly at the fifth stage."

"She was about to die alright? She was unconscious for a month." Puppet spoke as it flew towards her lady and bowed its head before speaking. "And I am sorry because I was the one who stood at Helio's place and threatened you." It spoke while not knowing that her son was standing right next to her.

"You said what to my mom?!" Her son tried to throw a fist, which was blocked by her lady and slammed down. "Don't act harsh! Let's see what it has to say before acting like that." She spoke while making a scary face at Puppet, which slightly made it scared and instantly ran to get protection from Aefia.

"Anyway, I had absorbed a little too much magic energy from those mirrors and I had been teleported to another dimension that Puppet had created using those magic and Helio knows that part too, but he found out a little later about it. He knew about it when, Puppet was threatening her lady of course." Aefia said while pulling it out from behind her shoulder.

"Anyway, is there anymore things that I have left out?" Aefia spoke as she pulled the demoness towards her and slammed her right in front of her. "If not, I have a few things to say to this actress, and I would like the rest of you to step out. Everyone except Helio of course."

She bent down to look at the demoness who was struggling for breath. Helio slowly walked forward where the demoness was, he had the same expression as Aefia. "You are all just insane, I didn't say anything that I really meant." The demoness spoke as the threads around her neck were released.

"Yeah, I heard it all. The way you said I might be dead or that I might have been badly injured. I had Helio as a bait, and I was always there from the time he had entered the dimension." Aefia spoke while making a sock-puppet gesture in the air. "You know, I think I should sew up your mouth."

She twisted the threads around her fingers and released every single one of those threads. She immediately stood up and walked away as she turned around just to tell Helio, "Can you just heal her and we can just let her be. She is the elder sister of many smaller siblings afterall, and I can't take care of them like her."

"Well, I guess there is no other choice. But maybe I can take my anger out on her? She also maddened me by making fake assumptions about me." Helio asked with eagerness.

"Yes...if you are willing to kill an elder brother of your who you can't survive without." Aefia spoke. "I already said once, let her be. The first time is considerable, second time is also an exception, only punish her in the third time. And also, remember the fact that I had told you back at the office."

"Tch. Nevermind it then, but it would be fun to beat up a person who tries so desperately to cause trouble. I hate these types of people, honestly, they would be doing things that make no sense at all."

In an instant, Aefia moved away with her stealth form and took a walk around before thinking about the colonization part of her own mission. I could just have this world under my command and then start a colony here, but the Guardians are saying this is the harder way to actually get a place where I will be freely allowed to navigate and keep in touch with my team.

But do they seem to know the fact that Hellas would be a place where we were sure to have been found out, because now some other populations have been taking it under their rule. And there is no saying how the 'humans' are doing.

Without hesitation, Puppet popped out and held her face with its tiny paws. "Aefia! Why are you thinking like that? Just look around in this world. I don't care how nasty the underground dungeons are like, but I really enjoy the surface world like a beauty exotic enough that fantasy worlds would pay you just to have it described or written about." It flew up into the air as it moved its head from left to right.

The sky sat high above a land that felt like a dream. Three moons hung in the air, each one a different size and shape. One looked like a big silver coin, while the others were thin and sharp like fingernails. The clouds moved slowly across the purple and blue space. Far below, the air felt cool and damp from the many waterfalls that spilled over the rocky edges. Light from the moons hit the mist and made everything look soft and blue. It was a very quiet night, and the whole world seemed to be waiting for something.

A tall castle stood on top of a dark mountain in the middle of the scene. It had many thin towers that reached up toward the moons. Golden light shone from the small windows, making the stone walls look warm against the cold night sky. A green glow came from the base of the castle, like magic fire was burning inside. There were no roads leading up to it, only steep cliffs and old trees. The building looked very old and very strong. It was the kind of place where a powerful king or a wise wizard might live.

Below the castle, the land broke apart into floating pieces of rock. Huge waterfalls poured off these cliffs and crashed into a dark river far down at the bottom. The water looked white as it fell, but it turned blue when it hit the pools below. Small bridges made of thick vines and ropes connected the islands of rock. These bridges swayed in the wind, but they looked strong enough to walk on. Tiny blue lights hung from the vines like stars that had fallen from the sky. The sound of the water filled the entire valley.

Strange trees grew all over the rocky cliffs. Their trunks were twisted and bent, and their leaves were a deep shade of blue. These trees did not look like the ones you would see in a normal forest. Some of them had roots that hung down into the air, reaching for the mist below. Near the ground, bright crystals poked out of the dirt. These crystals glowed with a purple and blue light. There were also many small flowers that grew in the shadows. Everything in this place seemed to have its own light, even the plants and the stones.

The whole place felt full of magic and mystery. The combination of the triple moons and the glowing plants made it feel mythical. The water kept flowing, and the lights kept blinking in the dark. The four travelers finally began to move toward the vine bridge. They walked slowly and carefully, making sure not to slip on the wet grass. Their journey was not over yet, but the castle was now closer than it had ever been. They stepped onto the bridge and disappeared into the soft blue mist of the magical night.

Aefia sat down on the grass, observing the team members. Her cloak spreading against the surface with a slight flowy feel to it. "Hey Puppet, can't you make something like this in your own world that you designed?" She spoke while hugging her knees and looking forward and over the end of the cliff.

"I could try, but my world is only imaginative and I will need a lot of your magic energy to make it. Although, I can actually destroy that world and remake it into one of this, and in return, you will feed me your magic on a daily basis as a bonus, or a rent." Puppet spoke as it went to sit on her shoulder.

"I can do that." Aefia replied without hesitation while stretching her legs out in front and leaning back, balancing herself with both of her hands. "Anything else that you will be required to do in return for this replication?"

Puppet thought for a few moments before finally tapping on her shoulder and speaking in excitement. "And one buck a day. My business is down to the lowest. No sales, its basically anything at this point." It shrugged after saying so.

"Yeah fine, just do whatever you want. But in return you must recreate this exact scene, with movement and interaction must be the exact same. No flaws or no adding extra details." Aefia spoke while still looking out into space. "I don't believe there must be anything else at this point."

"Aefia...I just have a question left to ask." Puppet spoke while glancing at how she was just not herself for now. She nodded, and it continued speaking. "Why are you so determined to get this world made where you can just witness it like this yourself?"

"How do you expect me to reach this area without having to meet the others? You get what I mean? Being with that sick in the mind duchess will be a similar to Earth scenario. Having her as my parent, is the same as having the parents from Earth brought here." Aefia spoke as she glanced down at her shoes.

"And how long are we looking into enduring? The remaining of your time at Nikoan? I thought you had other plans after you stopped the destruction?" Puppet asked a little bit concerned. "You are slowly killing yourself in the mind if you keep going on like this in life."

"I have been dying since I was born into that psychotic family and raised as a daughter there. But I actually came into this family for a reason. I plan on doing a very risk task with my time, power and position in that family." Aefia said as she stood up. "Anyway, I think have to leave by now. Before I leave I will just inform Helio about the situation."

"And you want to leave me here as to monitor them and keep him safe?" Puppet spoke while stealing a look at Aefia's formal clothing. "So you are in urgency to leave because you need to visit the palace for a thing that you are anxious about?"

"No, I need to be present for a certain situation today. I know this is my first day, but the duchess isn't easy to please. I am supposed to meet my brothers today, and I decided to check out the situation here before I attended." Aefia spoke with an expressionless face.
