I ran out the door to my room and panted once I locked the door.
" Did you make Eddie scream?" Sissy asked.
And then she and Mia started to laugh...they laughed and laughed.
" Okay tell us what happened " Mia asked in front of the mirror styling her bedtime hair.
I told them everything.
"It was dark.... you with a hood on?" Mia said.
" I'll apologize tomorrow... "
" And kiss him" Mia said
" Kiss who?"
" Edriel!" They chorused
" Kiss Edriel? God so help me"
" You were really a psycho crazy kid when you were 8, what movies did you watch?" Sissy said
" How did she even get the idea to play fake Superman? How can you stylishly pin a guy down and then forcefully kiss him?" Mia said. "Too much brains and wits"
Yeah and I regretted it.
" Okay can we go to bed now..because I don't know how I feel about all this...I just need to get myself" I said and jumped on the bed"
" Seriously? No shower nothing?" Mia asked
" I wanna cry in my pillow...I screwed it up... now he knows...he'll avoid me!" I said
" Aw never mind about showering then... Sissy you?"
She faked snoring and Mia smiled and I was taken away by my best friend, sleep...when I woke up...Mia and Sissy were taking their baths together.
I woke up and everything that happened yesterday came back plus Mia and Sissy were singing..." Kiss me kiss me...chain me chain me ...screaming screaming aaaaah!" They screamed and burst into laughter.
I saw the colour code for the day...light pink and white.
Mia's outfit was a pink crop top and a short flair skirt...while Sissy's was a long sleeved white shirt and a short pink jumpsuit. And Mine was a very huge light pink cardigan with girls rock on it...and a white bum short.
We were going to knot white bow ties on our heads and roll our hair into a bun...they came out
" She's awake" Sissy said
" Like your outfit...personally picked it out" Mia said
" Never doubt an outfit given to you by the fashion Queen " Sissy said in a dramatic bold voice and then they laughed while I smiled and I took my bath.
The cardigan was so big that my bum short wasn't even showing...you could only see a white line
" Why this?" I asked
" So you could look cute while giving your apology... " Mia said
And I was given cute pink Bunny slippers to wear and my hair was rolled up in a bun and the hair tie was put on it.
As usual we walked out majestically with our perfumes filling the hair and when we walked into the breakfast hall I saw Edriel and jeez my heart leaped and started racing...I wanted to turn back and run out.
He probably wondered why the heavens had blessed him with such a kissing obsessed cousin that seemed to be into him alone.
After yesterday...he just looked at me and took his eyes off.
* Is he that annoyed? * I thought.
We sat with them.
" Why are you guys all looking troubled... yesterday you were all bubbly" Sissy asked
" Did you hear Eddie scream last night?" Alex asked.
My heart picked up and started running...I felt I was going to faint from the pressure.. I pursed my lips.
I definitely didn't want to apologize here in front of everyone. They'd laugh me to death.
" We heard"
" He said he saw a black hooded figure bent over him...ready to eat him...but I still think he was hallucinating" Alex said
" I told you...it was a real, live ghost!" Eddie said.
My heart slowed down...
It deflated like a balloon as relief came flooding over me.
I was so so so relieved and then Mia and Sissy burst out laughing.
" Hmm do you believe in ghosts Ellie?" Mia asked
" Cer...cer..certainly not! "
" Let's forget about it Edriel"
" Unless it was someone" he said
And my heart leaped up.
" Anything wrong Ellie?" Ash asked me and started to laugh and then Drake started to laugh too and Alex joined and Mia joined and Sissy joined and they all laughed like they would never stop... It was only I and Edriel that didn't laugh.
It was still better than them laughing because I tried to kiss him again.
They all left to get ice cream one after the other with the main purpose of leaving us alone together.
Edriel stopped eating and stood still.
" What's wrong?" I asked
"The scent yesterday ...I'm..."
" What"
" Can I sniff your top?" He asked...
" Woah...what?" I asked with my heart besting a thousand times...he moved closer...
" You were the one weren't you?" He said suddenly.
"Oh"
" You were the hooded figure...were you trying to kiss me?"
" Well..well...I actually...I...oh my I think I have to use the toilet " I said and ran off.
I saw Drake, Ash and Alex together with Mia and Sissy. They were all laughing
" So that was the reason why you guys were laughing" Sissy said
" Eddie said he was gonna pass out" drake said and they burst into a fit of laughter.
" No no no you know he said his heart caught on fire while she was moving close to him" Ash said
" What an experience" Alex said
" A nine year old boy being molested by an eight year old girl " and they all laughed anew like crazy.
I passed them by....I wished I hadn't done that...I sat on the bed...

Mia And sissy did not come in...till noon.
" Hey..you okay?" They asked the minute they came in.
" Yeah..."
"Edriel told the guys you were the one who entered his room" Sissy said

" But it made the guys like you more, they said you had the nerves, they said a girl having that much nerves is cool"

" They said a girl asking a guy out is cool too, she's not shy and she doesn't care what any nigga says... What else did he say?" Sissy asked.
" She doesn't care what any nigga says, she's saying what she feels and if the guy don't feel it, then he can fuck off" Mia completed.
" Fuck off! " Sissy said and they began to giggle.
" But then these missions are crazy" I said
" And then when all this is over... even if you guys aren't together...when he leaves... he'll miss you his crazy cousin" Mia said.
" And then he'll get so used to you bugging him that he'll want to come back" Sissy added
" Hmm that makes sense...I'll get that kiss somehow, I don't know how, but somehow" I said

" But before that...I must clear some issues "
" Do that"Mia said and I went out and saw Edriel on the balcony.

" Hey rebel cousin" he said and looked away.
" I'm not sorry for yesterday " I said and he scoffed.

" Because I'll still try to kiss you" I said

" Don't worry...I won't be like this when we get to Italy " i said

"Because when the wedding is done...we'll all go back won't we..it'll be back to you, drake and ash and I ,mia and sissy"

He sighed.
" What a cousin... When we were young...what made you do that?"
" Well I guess I wanted you to notice me" I said

" You flocked with the girls all day at school and at home you went over to the neighbours flattering and flirting with the girls... you just saw me as this eight year old you could always do homework for and when you're bored, you play crazy games and that day, you read with Joanne when I asked you first and I saw you...you guys almost kissed..."
" Yeah" he said with a smile as he remembered.
" I got mad" I said in a whisper and his smile immediately disappeared.
"I wanted to have my kiss and I wanted it from you...so I studied you ..I knew you wouldn't give me just like that if I asked... So I decided to use wits and strength, I thought a lot"
" Yeah that was not funny"
I laughed at the stupidity of it all.
" You were such a frail boy then...anyone could push you and you'd flow with the wind"
" Yeah, gosh, you held my head so firm that I felt I was going to die".
I laughed.
" And then I got Elliephobia "
" Elliephobia? " I asked with fake curiosity.
" Fear of Ellie... fear of you..., When I saw you, I went crazy with fear, I had to remind myself to breathe and that you wouldn't suddenly pounce on me when everyone was around, so I told my mum that I hated the school and it's bullies and then she took me with her"
" I didn't like you gone...our room was so empty...I knew you left because of what I did...so I'm gonna correct that kiss" I said
" And I'll be on the lookout " he said in a murmur. " Thanks for being so obsessed with me" he said with a smile and left.
I sighed.

When it was evening time, Mia and sissy dressed me up for the kiss.
Crazy right? But that's just me.
Giving up is not a choice.
I gave up back then, when he left years ago but now that I'm seeing him and I've got the girls on my side, and I know I've got the advantage, why would I give up?
I picked crazy friends, but they were fun.
They made up for my past funless years.
I was wearing a tight dress that made them both heave heavy sighs as they tried to zip it.
" Must it be something tight, what about something free?"
" He must be distracted so you can get the kiss" she said and she finally got the zip up my back.
I managed to stand stylishly without ripping the dress.

"Are you kidding us? We've studied guys a lot and the first thing they do when you're wearing something like this is assess everything" Sissy said.
"So here you go" Mia said and handed me lovely cupcakes and milk.
" Eat those love cupcakes and fall in....." Sissy said.
" Love!" She and Mia completed.

I laughed and went to Eddie's room
I knocked.
" Come in"
I came in. He was writing.
" What's that? " he asked and just like they said, he stared at me from up to down.

" I mean why all this?"
I walked slowly to his bed, not because I was still trying to get him distracted, but because, the dress wouldn't let me go faster than that.
I sat on his bed and moved closer to him... I smiled, then I moved closer again and smiled and moved and moved till we were very close.
He sighed and looked at me then slowly looked away.
" I'll just take the cupcakes, you can keep the milk" he said and bended over to take the cupcakes I had kept next to me while I kept my eyes on him.
" You don't look very comfortable in that".
" Well I am... wanna help me undress? "
" Hey! You're fifteen " he said
I giggled uncontrollably.
*Who says I'd really let you undress me? * I thought.
" Don't eat the cupcakes"
"Why?"
" They're buttered with love"
" From who?"
" Does it have to be from someone?" I said.
He laughed and ate the cupcakes...I moved closer and looked at him.
" I'd prefer if you'd stop looking at me and stop moving closer to me, please, you're so naive, If you want to kiss a boy you don't have to do all this, this is crazy, if I was another guy, I wouldn't think you were trying to kiss me, I'd think you were trying to..." He stopped and looked at me and sighed. "You've never had a boyfriend before right?"
" Why?"
" It shows, your friends are better at it than you are, if they're giving you advice, I think they should watch how you take it, because I think you've been a very dumb pupil and stop staring at me with that funny look "
He looked me in the eye.
I gulped.
" Why? "
" Your eyes don't scare me anymore".
" They don't?" I said and laughed and he leaned towards me which made me lean back.
"If I decide I want to do half the things you're tormenting me with, you'll be the one with Eddiephobia"
I realized I wasn't breathing.
I stood up... "Uh..I'll just get..."
My hair pin fell down and I turned around to pick it...I saw him looking at me. I couldn't bend over in front of him, I mean with my back turned to him, so I moved a few steps back and turned to face him...I bent to pick and then I heard a sound and I felt like I'd never been more free.. Air gushed all around my... The tight fabric tore apart...
" Is that what I think it is? Oh gosh!" he said and burst out laughing while I stood still...
He laughed and I thought he was going to die from laughing
I couldn't believe the cloth tore...what kind of a material was it?
