Chapter 10 - Way to Resurrect her.

"They are saying that it was waste to execute her. That poor woman didn't have any choices in the matters." Tobin said.

"They say that she was a real looker; that one had a nice ass on her—so big and juicy—that it was a pity to execute it so soon. I wanted to bang her." Khort muttered.

Two of them talked with each other, keeping guard over the impaled heads so no one can remove them.

A young woman who had been bringing them their meal heard the men speak and couldn't help but roll her eye. Tobin turned toward her and grabbed her ass. "How much?"

"Let me go," the woman replied, but before she could do anything, Khort took out a silver coin and threw it toward her.

The woman caught the coin, then she start opening her blouse slowly as Khort come closer and start kissing her, in few moments her huge breasts where bouncing in air.

"If only Alice where here, with a silver she would have given her cunt." Tobin said. "She even look like you, was she your sister? I herd her mother sell her for just a copper penny, only if I was there"

Khort moved his hand down to her stomach, then as he was going for her cunt she stopped him.

"Only my tits, it was just a silver coin, and small one at that!"

"Whatever," Khort put his hand back on her breast and start sucking on other."

"Yess!" she moaned in pleaser, "Yeass th-that bitch, she was my dugh—" a sword came out of nowhere. It pierced the woman from behind, coming out of her tit—impaling the face of the Khort who was still sucking. The sword then moved sideways, cutting the woman's body and Khort's face in half!

Tobin tried to run, but the sword, which was held by Dunk, reach him, last thing that he saw was his headless body still trying to run away.

I stepped toward the spike and freed Tanselle's head with careful hands. I wrapped her in a clean cloth, covering her gently. Then I stored it in my inventory. I did the same for the other four.

Above me, a raven circled.

Through its eyes, I had seen the camp where the other part of her body, her headless body, was buried.

Guards were posted there too—waiting in case I came.

They were right to expect me.

I moved toward the camp. As I reached the treeline.

Before I came to recover her body, I had purchased archery and spear mastery. It only cost me 8 gold dragons. I hadn't felt any pain, or I was too angry, when I infused those skills. I then bought a bow and a Valyrian steel greatsword around the same height as me. The sword cost me 30 gold dragons.

As I neared the camp, I saw five guards.

Two seated.

Three pacing slow circles.

They did not expect an attack, or they were taking it too easily.

A bow appeared in my hand from my inventory. As I pulled its string, one of the arrows appeared on it from my inventory.

The first arrow flew soundless through the leaves.

Thwip.

The guard nearest the tree line staggered back, shocked, clutching at his throat as blood bubbled through his fingers. He was dead before he hit the ground.

The others reacted—confused shouts, weapons drawn, torches raised.

I loosed the second arrow before the first body touched the dirt.

Thwip.

The torch-bearer fell. Fire dropped into dry leaves. Flame began to creep.

One of the guards finally found his voice.

"Who goes there!? Stand and—"

Thwip.

He dropped mid-sentence.

The last two took cover behind a stack of crates.

One whispered, "We should go. This is no common thief—"

"No. If we flee, the prince—"

He didn't finish before and arrow pirced his forehead.

I stepped from the shadows, drawing my sword instead.

No need for more arrows.

The last one hid himself behind a huge rock. My Valyrian steel sword cut through the rock and the man hiding behind it with the same ease as if I was swinging it in empty air.

The camp fell silent except for the crackling of flames spreading through the dry leaves.

I found the shallow grave near the animal pens. They hadn't even bothered to dig deep—just enough to hide the bodies from casual sight. I knelt and began digging with my bare hands, dirt collecting under my fingernails.

Tanselle's body was the first I uncovered. Headless, wrapped in a stained sheet. They'd dumped her like refuse. Like she was nothing.

I lifted her carefully, cradling her body as I had cradled her severed head. My hands trembled—not from the weight, but from the rage threatening to consume me.

I stored her body in my inventory, feeling it vanish into that strange space only I could access.

The other four lay nearby. The old man. The scarred sellsword. The boy. Another performer I didn't know. I dug each one out, treated each with the same care I'd given Tanselle. They deserved better than this unmarked grave. They deserved justice.

I stored them all in my inventory.

I stood up, brushing dirt from my knees, and opened the system shop in my mind.

The interface appeared like words written in light that only I could see. Thousands of items scrolled past. Weapons. Armor. Skills. Magic.

Tonight I searched for one thing specifically.

Resurrection.

The results appeared quickly.

Bloodstone - A red gemstone similar to the one worn by Melisandre of Asshai. When combined with blood magic mastery, amplifies the power of blood magic.

Cost: 1,500 Gold Dragons

Blood Magic Mastery - Complete understanding and control of blood magic rituals, including resurrection, life extension, life creation, and binding spells.

Cost: 2,000 Gold Dragons

I stared at the numbers.

Three thousand five hundred gold dragons total.

I had... I checked my balance...

Not even close.

The tourney prize at Ashford was ten thousand gold dragons for the champion. More than enough.

I knew I could win the tourney. The mastery I purchased guaranteed it—not even Prince Baelor, for all his natural talent come closer.

But winning meant waiting. Days of jousting. Days of Tanselle and the others lying dead in my inventory while I played at being a champion.

Days of Aerion walking free, one eye missing but still alive and unpunished.

I clenched my fists.

I could go to King's Landing. Hunt Aerion down. Kill him properly this time.

But then what?

"Focus on what you can control," I muttered to myself.

What was in front of me?

The tourney. Win that and the prize—10,000 gold dragons—would be mine to take.
