Julia's POV
My phone chimed just minutes after I finished my meal. Gavin's name flashed on the screen, and I opened his message immediately.
"Go to my room. Check the drawer beside my bed. You'll find my card holder there. Take the black card and replace your friend's dress. The pin is 0000."
I stared at the text, waiting for more. That was it? No explanation about Belle? No acknowledgment of how he'd brushed me off this morning?
The strangest part was that his room door was never unlocked. Gavin was obsessive about privacy.
I pocketed my phone and walked down the hallway to his bedroom. When I turned the handle, it opened without resistance. The familiar scent of his cologne hit me the moment I stepped inside, and my eyes immediately found his bed. Heat flooded my cheeks as memories from last night crashed over me. The way he'd touched me, the way I'd completely surrendered to him on those very sheets.
